I took my car in for a service recall. I made an appointment online, so it was an easy process. I dropped my car off as scheduled and receive a phone call a few hours later the call was ready.
What made me not return to this Toyota is that I picked up the car close to the end of the day. The key was already in the car with the engine on, and all service reps were inside. When I went to the cashier, she said "Oh, is that your car? You can pick it up." No ID, no asking for my name, nothing.
My service manager called me two days later to ask "Um, did you get the right car? Can you come back to sign the paperwork?
Unbelievable. I could have driven off with anyone else's car or someone else could have taken my car. Such a lack of accountability and professionalism.
