A one of a kind restaurant in the Twin Cities. A wealth of menu choices (primarily sea food) all with a truly Caribbean flair. Superb flavorings and good size portions. The four coconut crusted shrimp appetizer were jumbo, jumbo with a wonderful guava-horseradish dipping sauce.
The lobster tacos were amazing - the most chunks of lobster Ive had in a dish outside of Boston. The chefs tasting menu ($30), also excellent, included a great salad of dark, crisp greens, cashews and dates. The Sueno De Chocolate dessert was molten heaven (share this one). The ambiance of the 45 aquarium, sea grass and changing colored lights (sunset) was great for a romantic dinner or a family get together.
Great tropical drinks ($9), expensive wine one/two below $30. Service could be better. Web site says valet parking, but we saw no one parking cars. $110 for two including drinks, dessert, coffee.
Pros: Truly Caribbean, Unique Atmosphere, Great Food
Cons: , Expensive Drinks/Wine, Parking
