Best Movers in Massachusetts 8/25/2008

Did you know that moving is considered one of the top 5 stressful experinces in life! I had to move my elderly mother 3 times in a short period of 1 month. The owner of Roadrunner, Dave, was like my personal therapist who helped me through the first, then the unexpected second, and finally the dreaded third time. Roadrunner Movers made these stressful moves seem effortless....They arrived on time, were courteous, gentle, and truly sensitive to what was going on in my life. Dave took the time to follow up after each move, with a phone call checking on my mental health as well as my mom's. Thanks to Roadrunner, we are both doing fine. Hopefully, I won't be needing a mover soon, but I know who I would call if I do.....and I would recommend these guys to anyone else in need of a great moving company. Pros: They listen, they arrive on time, great attitudes, helpful, and responsive Cons: none that I can think of....... more

Great Moving Company! 8/22/2008

I used RoadRunner to move from Boston to upstate New York. The people in this company, from owner to employees, are completely professionals, but are also very friendly and caring that they do everything they can to ease the stress you have for moving. They give great advice, show great flexibility in terms of scheduling and meeting your special requests, and keep to their commitment (both time and money-wise). They quoted me the lowest price among the 3 companies that I inquired, and stuck to their estimate completely. Pros: They did everything right Cons: I wish I can pay them more for their hardwork more

Best Movers Around 8/22/2008

If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company Roadrunner is the first place you should call. I had used several different companies in the past before finding Roadrunner and will never use anyone else in the future. In fact, this is the 2nd time they have done a long-distance move for me. They are on-time, professional, courteous and extremely hard-working. Not to mention, in 2 long-distance moves none of my belongings have even been scratched let alone damaged. I recommend them without reservation to anyone who is in the market for a mover. more

great moving company 8/15/2008

We had Roadrunner move us this week. They did a fantastic job . They worked so quickly, respectfully and efficiently. I don?t think they stopped at all! They took great care of our stuff. On top of that, they were all super nice to us and our children. Roadrunner is very impressive from the initial quote ? through to the end. They were right on target with their estimate of time. They were wonderful before the move- checking in on our progress. We would definitely recommend to anyone that asked! more

Roadrunner moved us from Somerville to Michigan. The price was fair and the service was fantastic. The guys who packed and moved our stuff worked incredibly hard and were very careful with our stuff and considerate too. (At one point, one of the guys started to ask another mover to hand him the sh#@...but then he saw my four-year-old daughter nearby and he said ""stuff"" instead.) Pros: Great service more

Invaluable Moving Experience 8/13/2008

OK, when you move apartments, you know it's anxiety: packing up, finding a mover, timing, expense, uncertainty, etc. But when u move 1,000 miles away, the anxiety more than doubles. On top of that, i had only a ""minimum"" amount of stuff-- a small studio-- to move. So how to find a reliable, long distance mover who won't either scam me or rip me off?? Searching for one on the internet, getting lots of lowball quotes and some ridiculously high quotes, then reading the horror stories on a movingscams website, just increased my paranoia. more

3rd time is still a charm! 8/11/2008

I just moved last Friday and used Roadrunner for the 3rd time. Every time I've used them the move has gone perfectly. The scheduling was so easy thanks to David. He even took the time to help me figure out the best storage solutions for my needs. Overall great and friendly service! Thank you to Homero, Vlad, and Jose for another wonderful experience with Roadrunner. They were on-time, professional, and great guys to work with. Flawless 1st Move!! 8/5/2008

I would not normally go out of my way to write a review, but Roadrunner Movers made my first moving experience so easy and I was so impressed with their service that I definitely want to pass their name along to anyone who looking to hire movers. They were very professional right from the beginning, both over the phone and in-person. The movers were friendly and VERY quick! These boys really do hussle!! They are NOT looking to skimp you on moving time (or overcharge you for their transportation time). And the owner Dave even called the next day to do a follow-up and make sure everything went smoothly (and recommend some nice places in the area I just moved to!) Simply the best movers in Boston! 8/4/2008

From the start, Dave was very friendly and pleasant to deal with on the estimate. The team who did the move was extremely professional, fast, and meticulous about wrapping each piece of furniture and moving it carefully. They were also just a great, fun group of guys. I am impressed by how well Dave followed up with us before and after the move. I highly recommend Roadrunner to anyone for their move. Excellent movers, excellent price, no breakage and no hassles 7/30/2008

I have moved many times and dealt with a lot of movers and these guys are the best. They moved us from Boston to D.C. They came right on time to pick up our stuff, disassembled, wrapped, packed what needed to be and had it on the truck in no time. We had a lot of artwork and they knew just how to pack it so that it got to D.C. in perfect shape. The arrived in D.C the next morning and unloaded and reassembled everything in perfect order. I had a question about the bill and the owner, Dave, emailed me right away, researched the problem and corrected it in my favor very graciously. They were super professional and, on top of everything else, they came in under budget. Theirs was not the cheapest estimate (although the final price beat everyone else's) but I had a good feeling about them, and my hunch was confirmed! I have nothing but wonderful things to say regarding Dave and his employees. They were very professional, friendly and considerate in all aspects of the packing/moving process. Ed and Terry who drove the truck to our new home and unloaded our belongings, did an absolute stellar job. Communication with the company was easy and reliable prior to our move. Because of them our long distance move went without a hitch. We highly recommend Roadrunner movers. more

This is 4th move in 6 years and it was the best. Estimate was lower than final bill: wonderful surprise. From start with Dave and his estimate and kindness, to finish when team left the house, all went extremely smoothly and the friendliness and respect, to both humans and belongings, were greatly appreciated. more

For your next move - Choose Roadrunner! 7/11/2008

Our move was unexpected and had to be done within a very short window. We weren't quite ready with our part of the move-- but Dave and his team were. Dave's quote was on target, his ""hand-holding"" superb, and his teams were excellent. They packed us, stored our furniture and even took a huge amount of our boxes in/out of our self-storage container. We moved from Massachusetts to Connecticut without any problems. Highly recommend! Pros: Flexible to accommodate client's needs as best they can. Cons: Can't think of any. more

Roadrunner Movers are the best 7/2/2008

I have been a customer of Roadrunner Moving and Storage for 8 years now. They have moved me several times and I've had my furniture in storage with them, as well. They are by far the best movers I've experienced. They are fast, friendly, careful...just a great group of people. My belongings were kept in perfect condition while in their storage facility. Everything was wrapped and handled carefully. I've never lost anything due to damage or breakage. Roadrunner is the only mover that I use, and will continue to use, and I refer them to everyone I know that needs a great moving company. They are honest and fair about pricing and I usually end up paying less than what they quote me. Wish I could name all you guys, but thanks to all....Martin, Denis, Dave, Paul and everyone else. 5 star rating...thumbs up! Pros: All around great company more

Best Moving Company EVER!!! 7/1/2008

If you want a stress-free move we highly suggest paying for Roadrunner. We have nothing but praises for this company that moved us from the Boston to NYC. We are two doctors who were literally working up to the morning of our move so we had no spare time or room for mistakes and their performance was flawless. The staff were all friendly, professional, and extremely careful with all of our belongings. Everything arrived ON TIME (even earlier than we had anticipated) and in perfect condition. Their quote was the lowest we received and we actually came in under what they had quoted. I can not endorse this company enough. My only advice is to book early because after our experience I emailed the entire Harvard medical community and suggested they use Roadrunner for any future moving needs. more

5-star moving company 6/30/2008

My family moved from Boston to Maryland in late May, 2008. I have heard of bad moving companies that would charge their customers double than the original quote on the date of moving. That made my family and I anxious when we were going to contact moving companies, especially that we are international. But from the beginning of my experience with Roadrunner, it was all positive. more

Office moves / Personal moves - Great all around! 6/24/2008

I got in touch with Roadrunner to help with an office move that was down to the wire and they were great. They knew how to navigate a move in Downtown Boston with no problems, we efficient and definitely took the stress out of a crazy day. more

Top-notch movers 6/22/2008

We can't say enough about these guys. They've now moved us twice, both times out of state, and both times involving moves with big furniture from fourth story walk-ups on tight streets. To make things more complicated, the first move also involved barging stuff three miles offshore after synchronizing our move with the tides. Great help for walk up apartments in Boston 6/9/2008

Just had a great moving experience with Roadrunner. I lived on the 4th floor of a 5-story walk up in Back Bay and had lots of trouble with the movers on the way into town. Roadrunner was fast, careful with my things, and best of all were very experienced in walk up apartments. I was moving out of state and they stored my things for me and delievered them on time and with friendly helpful staff. Highly Recommended. more
