It was a tremendous stressful time for us to organize our move back to Germany, and my dear Neighbor Walter said: don`t you worry: All will be good! I know trust-worthies! (If you know Walter, you know there is no room to argue, because in his way of strong believe he is always right! And I love him.) He send for Martin Williams, who arrived one hour late. He took a view through my four-people-apartment. ""Well, two crates might do!"" Very polite not mentioning that nobody really expected me to get this mess cleared up in a timely fashion. Do I have 1436 characters left? When I saw all my belongings piled up at the warehouse entrance, I could not stop crying, never be able to understand: How this will ever end in a good professional way. But lucky me it was the roadrunner warehouse where half of my life stranded! Where people offered me a drink without naming my condition. Filled all the paperwork with me, told me a hundred times I should relax by now. But all I could see was an unbelievable pile of boxes and belongings I never thought I could worry so much about. These guys are great!They packed us in one day and moved us the following, all within Boston. They were totally prepped, moved everything with care and took so many extra steps to be sure we were satisfied. We had a couch that didnt look like it could fit into our bedroom. They spent the extra time to take it apart and reassemble, without having to be asked, to get it into the room. We couldn't be happier with our move. Every single person at Roadrunner was helpful, had a great attitude, worked hard and made us feel like we were their highest priority. Our belongings arrived exactly when they were supposed to arrive and without any damage. We moved out of state from Beacon Hill where moving can be a challenge. They took care of the meters, the signage and getting our things to the truck without a problem. Two of the people that packed us up in Boston stayed with the truck on the move, so they were here on the receiving end as well. The accountability that Roadrunner assumes is a big plus. There are no hidden fees and your estimate will be what they promise. They know what they are doing and do it well. If every business operated with your level of efficiency and every employee had the positive attitude of your employees, the world would run much more smoothly! more

I recently used Roadrunner Moving for our move from Lowell to Cambridge. Having only moved locally I was a little lost as to who to call. I received a recommendation for Roadrunner from the condominium manager. I decided to give them a call. Dave was very friendly and professional. He communicated quickly and professionally via phone and email. They quoted the move and i found them to be very reasonably priced. Well under what I had expected. more

Excellent movers! They did exactly what they said they would do (and a lot more!!) Showed up on time, finished on time, wrapped everything very carefully, labeled everything that they wrapped. I wasn't nickel and dimed to death with add on fees and they kept to the original estimate. I rec'd one estimate that was 100% higher, and I know that company had surprised my neighbor with a DOUBLING of their already high estimate. Great move-nothing damaged and great service. The driver called us everyday with updates on the delivery date. We had a few heavy pieces that we had moved and the crew moved the items into our house from the garage. The crew was polite and very professional. I used Road Runner Moving and Storage for the first time last week and they were great! I live in Charlestown and needed to move items to two locations - to my home and to a storage facility. Danny and Terrance were my movers and were on time (actually early) very courteous, nice and respectful. Everything with the move was very easy and quick. When I told them about the size storage room I rented they even suggested I get something smaller since I didn't need all of the space that I rented...which I did and it saved me about $30 per month! Recently had our second move with RoadRunner and, once again, they rocked! The crew of Paul, Tony, Edilyson and Pedro were pleasant and speedy, the whole move was way faster than the estimate, and all my interactions with the company (including Dave and Dennis) were positive. I called Roadrunner on labor day weekend as my movers backed out on me. Moving on Labor Day weeked in Boston is already a nightmare because everyone in town is moving but became a real disaster when my original movers told me to check out the yellow pages when I called inquiring where they were. I googled Charlestown movers and Roadrunner popped up. I called, they tried to help and even recommended two trusted companies and their owners so as we would be able to move that weekend. Since it was not pressing we be out by the 1st, we decided to go with Roadrunner because of their help that horrible weekend. On the day of the move, Roadrunner called at 11 and wanted to know if they could come over in a half hour. We were originally give the time frame of anywhere between 1-4 - coming 2 to 5 hours early was awesome and enabled us to move into our new apt. earlier than expected. The guys worked in extreme heat and humidity and carefully moved a two bed apartment on the first floor to a third floor apartment. They were extremely nice, humorous and conversational to boot. Additionally, we had a fourth guy (Mike) lend a hand at no additional charge as we were supposed to only have three guys (Homer, Pedro & Jose). The completed the job in two hours and we were extremely happy to be in our new apartment. Thanks, Roadrunner! I moved from Boston to Brighton this week using Roadrunner Moving & Storage Inc. I cannot believe the quality of service I received! the men, Homero, Terry and Dino, arrived on time and were very polite and friendly. They treated my furniture as if it were precious cargo, carefully wrapping everything up and moving it up and down multiple flights of stairs. Best of all they were quick and efficien. My fiancee and I hired Dave and the team at Roadrunner for our in-Boston move based on the recommendation of a colleague. From the outset, they were polite, helpful, and eager to make the experience as worry-free as possible. We had two unexpected changes in our moving dates due to condominium restrictions, and I expected to scramble or pay a substantial extra fee for the necessary revision in our moving plans (particularly as our move was scheduled over the Labor Day weekend, the busiest of the year in Boston). Quite to the contrary, Dave and Dennis happily rearranged the schedule to accommodate our needs at minimal additional cost, constantly reassuring me that they would help us to make everything work out. Up to the moment we moved, the team responded promptly and kindly to my obsessive concerns, and consistently had a flexibility 'can-do' attitude that was extremely helpful during this stressful period. The moving teams (for both my fiancee's condo and my own) were extremely polite, professional, and efficient, and took great care with our things. The charges applied were entirely consistent with the estimates (accounting for the extra time needed to move my fiancee's things from storage). The Roadrunner team turned what I anticipated to be a total nightmare into a smooth and (relatively) painless process. I was very happy with my experience with Roadrunner Movers. Excellent customer support pre-move. Dave came to scope the job and when he left I felt confident that I would be ready for moving day and survive the experience. The day of the move the crew was a little later than I expected, but when they got there they were organized, efficient, friendly, and most helpful at managing some of the odds-and-ends that appear as a house empties. The final accounting was totally transparent, the clock started when the crew arrived at my door, the transportation fee was a set price based on the distances, not time on the road. The 5% discount for cash was nice and I ended up paying well under the company's estimate.
