I've got to admit. When our 45 year old toilet started leaking and falling apart we called South West Plumbing on the recommendation of a family member who has used them several times. They were kind, courteous, personable, prompt, and thought out of the box to get us taken care of. The toilet was in such bad shape that it wasn't much more expensive to simply have them sell us a new one, install it for free, and not charge for labor since we purchased one from them. It's not everyday you get a new toilet, not to mention a plumber you feel comfortable recommending. more

Ron M. was great. He diagnosed the problem with a leaking shower unit into the neighbors unit. He was able to put my neighbors at ease and repair the unit as fast as possible.. He exceeded my expectations and I would call him again should another pluming problem arise. more

we called Southwest Plumbing for a kitchen sink that drained so slow that it took about an hour to drain about 2 cups of water. they set us up with an appointment and were on time for their appointment. the tech Rigo was extremely nice, he and his partner were respectful of our home by putting booties on before they entered the home. they got right to work after we explained what was going on. they snaked our drain not once but twice and tried to find out what was going on. they finally determined that something was blocking the line beyond the length of their snake and it would take more than he was able to provide. Rigo provided us with an idea of a couple of things that may work and gave us time to think about the 2000-2500 dollars it could cost to fix the problem at the worst and maybe a 1000 for a possible fix that may not work. he did not pressure us and was extremely honest with us. he was so kind that he did not charge us the 269.00 he had originally estimated that his work may cost he only charged us the service call od 49.00 and cleaned up and departed. I was absolutely floored that I was not charged like some of these other reviews suggest. we had made the appointment before we read the reviews and were somewhat apprehensive as to what would actually happen. I WAS AMAZED AND PLEASED that these reviews were not right in our case. thank you Rigo you were a life saver and we would recommend you to our friends and family\r \r I did forget to add that about 3 hours after Rigo left the drain opened on its own and began draining like it should. whatever Rigo did worked just a little slower than we all expected thank you Rigo you are a true honest person with integrity keep up the good work. more

Abel Gave Excellent Service! Had a leak and didn't know where it was coming from and decided instead of pretending to be a plumber I would call the professionals. Abel P. was very good and took the time to explain the origin of the leak without being condescending. He was very respectful of our personal property. Moving even the most ordinary object with great care. He was sure to put on carpet protection covers to ensure he didn't track any debris in. Very professional! Overall great experience! more

Our hot water heater blew and Jon S. along with his apprentice Dan S. came by an hour later and gave us an estimate. Being that it was 9pm, we agreed he would come back the next day at an agreed time. Jon and Dan were on time, Dan did most of the work and did a good job of it. Jon was informative and explained in detail each step. They were really good with my dogs too which was nice. When they were finished they cleaned up everything and left no trace. Professional service delivered. more

I was trying to replace a faucet cartridge in my shower myself. The cartridge snapped off in the wall as I was trying to remove it. My water is shut off and I cant turn it back on until the cartridge is replaced. Its late Sunday afternoon and I have to work early Monday morning. I called South West Plumbing and they sent Jon and Dan out to fix the mess I had started. Jon told me that if he could get the remaining cartridge out of the wall I would be looking at about $350. If he couldn't, he would have to cut a hole in my closet wall and replace the faucet from the back side to the tune of $950. He and Dan worked tirelessly for nearly two hours to remove and replace the cartridge without having to tear into my closet wall! I was able to take a nice hot shower before work Monday morning! South West plumbing was able to accommodate our needs on the same day as my call. They called me several times to provide us an update on our plumbers arrival time.\r \r James and Sam came in and installed three toilets that we had purchased. They did a great job. Ron M. and his intern Kyle are my heros! While on vacation my water heater expansion tank sprang a leak. The problem was detected by a neighbor who had turned the water to the house off. All well and good but very stressful to deal with when returning home from two weeks away; needing to shower, do laundry, flush the toilet, etc. As promised by Ron, within a couple of hours I had both hot and cold running water. Plus, all new piping, a drain pan to detect future leaks, seismic strapping, etc; all things up to code and not a minute wasted or an item left out-of-place. I was also instructed on the proper maintenance of the heater going forward. Thanks again to Ron and ""South West Plumbing, the one to call!"". more

I made the call at 9 am and was told I would be contacted by 11 AM . Ron showed up at 11 am exactly. He took a look at the situation and explained in detail what would be required to resolve it.. He started the work immediately and even made corrections to the design so that the same issue of condensation and rust would not happen again... He also also made sure everything he installed was up to specifications.. The interaction was both professional, educational and customer friendly. I would and have recommended the service to both friends and family.. more
