I was referred by a family member and found the staff at the Dover, DE, location to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Sales Associate Bobby Gummadi walked me through the purchase of a radio w/CD player for my RV. The price was extremely competitive and installation was professional and expedient. The work done involved the installation of a new navigation system in our RV. There are two points that I would make on this: (1) The Dover store is 50+/- miles from my home in Oxford, MD. Because of this distance and the size of the vehicle, each trip to the Dover store, where parking for a vehicle of this size is limited, is a fairly major undertaking. On the first trip I was unable to get anything accomplished, other than the selection of a replacement unit, because I did not have a full "slot" scheduled. It would have been helpful to know this before I drove the rig to Dover.With the right sort of discussion brfore hand, I could have made this strip by car which would have been much easier and less costly. (2) On the second trip a new navigation unit with sirius radio was installed. While I am very pleased with the unit,the radio side does not hold the satellite signal. I will have to take the unit to Dover a third time to get this matter addressed. It would have been more helpful to get this done right the first time. Stan Bright more

I had my 95 Ram in for a remote start, my existing CD player and four new speakers. They took my truck in on the scheduled date as promised. I was called to confirm reciept of my player as I had forgotn to leave it he night before and had placed in in the bed with a note. I was also called to verify a change in the installation. (I had lost the wiring harness from my player). When the selected speakers proved to be too thick for my stock location, I was upgraded, free of charge, to the next better speaker that would fit. (Other locations would probably have gone the other way and still charged me the same price). Overall I am extremely happy with the sales, service and customer consideration I recieved from Sound Of Tri-State. more

Order a Dash install kit took over a month to get. 1/28/2010

Ok ordered a dash kit for a corolla took week get in go there to pick it up and guys that called me and told me it was there wasnt in and no body could find it. Must have sold it. guy said he would call me back when he finds it wait another week no calls go back up there and guy tells me cant fidn it he order me another one going be couple days. ordered 12/21/2009 picked up finaly 1/27/10. These people realy dont care much abouot customers and small orders be aware when you go in there should order online could have had it in a week. more

The employees were very polite and trying to do the right thing for me. The only thiong I was upset about was I ended up paying more money. I wasn't happy with that. Ever since I had the romote start put on my truck I have been back every year to get it fixed. Well this time I ended up paying and I don't think I should have paid anything, because it caused alot of inconvience for us. more

Decent at best 1/18/2010

The guy recommend the wrong products to me. I was installing a Pioneer Avic Z110BT in my truck and the iPod wire I was sold was the wrong one. I had to go back to the store, purchase the correct wire, undone my entire dash again, and then drive back to the store to return the wrong one, and now I have to wait 3 more days to get my money back. I feel like people in this business try to rob their customers. more
