I have used them before for XM radio install and Remote start. The only issue I had this time was a call informing me they would need another $50.00 because the install required them to run a wire the length of the vehicle. I complained and they said they would thake the loss. I felt they should have recognized they had mis-qouted before they had the job almost completed. Other than that I am very much satisfied with Sound of Tri-State. more

I initially decided to use Sound of Tri-State because of their product knowledge and the attention they give to the customer's needs. As opposed to a typical retail location that moves product based on profit points, Sound of Tri-State is focused on customer satisfaction. I have purchased both mobile and home stereo equipment from them and they have stood behind their warranty work and service. When I did have a problem with a product that was a manufacturer problem, not their problem, Sound of Tri-State rectified the situation by replacing the equipment that was causing the problem at no cost to me. In terms of cost, everybody can buy less expensive products from a website, but at Sound of Tri-State, you have expert installers concerned with your needs. For example, before they do anything, they ask me what I want from the relationship. They allow me to make the final decision based on how much I want to spend or what will be most beneficial for me. When they did a home theater installation for me and I decided that I wanted to exchange the system for a higher-end product, they took the entire system back at no charge. I only paid the difference. I have already sent many customers to Sound of Tri-State. I was a little disapointed with the prices of some of your Head Units. I found them online for a much lesser cost of $75-$150 cheaper. But, I was able to price match and bring my price down wich I greatly appreciate! The service and staff were excellent!!! I would recomend this to anybody looking to upgrade anything for their car or home. This was the Dover location. I forgot the man who helped me but he went to Wesely College :) more

I had always bought a lot of stereo equipment from Sound of Tri-State and, recently, I had them do a difficult project for me. They built a 17-inch motorized monitor for my car and had to cut my rear strut bar in order for the monitor to be raised. They also made a customized box for my car. I decided to use Sound of Tri-State because they are the only ones I trust in my area. The guy who did the work, Scott, is one of best in the store as far as customizing things. His work is beautiful. Everything turned out great. It does not look like there is a 17-inch monitor in my trunk. My car has already been featured in 2 magazines: Import Tuner and Super Street. I would recommend Sound of Tri-State not only for the quality of work that they do but also for the people that work there. They have awesome personalities and it is fun talking to them.
