Best Experience Ever! 8/19/2010

I was so delighted at the entire experience. From the moment of walking in and being greeted by name. I felt welcome and like I was meeting old friends even though it was my first time. I consulted with Chrissy about what I was looking for in cut and color. She understood exactly and made me feel confident with her abilities. She took the time to educate me on the pro's and cons and the choices available. more

Great Haircut! 8/16/2010

I have been going to Salon Dacota for quite some time, now and I have always had great results. My appointment was at noon on Sat. and greeted promptly by Trisha. I told her that I wanted a cut and style that would require the least amount of maintenance. The length was just what I asked for. And all I did before work was wash and blow it dry using my fingertips. Fast and Easy!!! I'm always so satisfied! The staff at Salon Dacota are nice, courteous, and fun. Plenty of parking and easy to access. more

Oasis in Ballwin 8/15/2010

Salon Dacota was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and happy. My first time and I got the haircut i asked for. On arrival I was made to feel comfortable and everyone was happy and smiling, it makes a difference it really does. more

Real Professionals 8/8/2010

Finding a new salon can be stressful. I had been a loyal patron of another salon for many years when they lost that loyalty by losing my standing appointment and expecting me to switch to another person at the salon. After seeing the reviews about Salon Dacota, I decided to take a chance. I went to Chrissie and I can't say enough about how I was treated. She listened to me and knew just what I needed to update my look. She colored my hair, put in highlights and cut it beautifully. I haven't been so happy with my hair in years. I look forward to my next appointment. more

LOVE...Brazilian Keratin Treatment for Hair Straightening 8/2/2010

My 16 year old daughter has very unruley, course, thick hair..before the Brazilian Treatment she would spend hours each day getting her hair straight and still not being fully happy with it and would end up pulling it up in a ponytail.....Valla at Salon Dacota told us about this treatment and it is wonderful. It has no unpleasant odor, within a few hours your hair is soft and straight...its like magic truely....So happy we found this treatment and that Valla is so confident with it!!! Having struggled to find a salon to give me that easy manageable cut, I really appreciated the time and consultation that I was given. I finally feel like I have someone that understands my needs! Every place I've ever gone to get my haircut I leave with it in a ponytail. This was the first time I never did that. I was bored with my hair and ready for a dramatic change. Erica was fantastic and offered great suggestions. I liked being given recommendations on what style would look best. Everyone absolutely loves my hair and I will definitely recommend Salon Dacota! Pros: Too many to list here Cons: Absolutely nothing more

I was looking for a new place to get hair cut and color. Salon Dacota is a nice salon hidden in Ballwin. Very nice inside and relaxing environment. I liked the fact that they sit with you for a minute to discuss what you are looking for and give their opinion. I got highlights and a cut by Bobbi who did a good job. Only downfall was that I was there for 3 hours so couldn't even stay for my blowout and finish. Hopefully next time will be faster. Pros: relaxing, nice environment Cons: long time more

Great Little Salon 7/22/2010

I really liked my experience at Salon Dacota. Erica did a great job and I love my haircut. She helped give me suggestions when I said I wasn't happy with my bangs from a previous haircut. There was a complimentary paraffin dip for hands, which was nice to get when it wasn't expected! I also really liked the atmosphere - it was very comfortable and relaxing. Salon Dacota lives up to all the reviews! I tried them for the first time last month and Derrick did a great job on highlights and a short cut for me. I've just moved back to Missouri after being gone for many years and was nervouse about finding another stylist. The relaxing head massage during the shampoo is worth the trip back! I enjoyed my experience at Salon Dacota. I think Erica did a great job with my hair and was very friendly. She wasn't too pushy with trying to sell me products which I enjoy because it can get annoying with salons constantly pushing products on you. So thank you, she did offer though. \r \r I thought the decor was beautiful and I loved the pictures on the wall. Thank you for referring me to Abbies Photography. \r \r I enjoyed the 25% for the first time customer, that was unexpected and of coarse, saved me money, which is always a plus.\r \r Overall, I had a great experience at Salon Dacota and plan on returning for my next haircut. My Hair Is So Happy! 7/15/2010

Wow! I was super impressed with my first visit to the salon. It is very beautifuly and tastefully decorated. I felt relaxed just walking in. The service was amazing and everyone there was all smiles. My stylist Bobbi Stylez was so talented and very attentive. He listed to what I wanted and gave me a cut and style that was so perfect. I felt like a million bucks leaving the salon and walking into work on Monday. Thanks Bobbi & Salon Dacota - I WILL be back and am telling all my friends too! I have been looking for a new hair place for awhile and I stumbled across Salon Dacota on citysearch I read a lot of the reviews but honestly thought that they were too good to be true I was wrong.\r \r I had an appointment with Chrissy on Tuesday and it was fabulous. She was helpful but also listened to what I had to say. \r \r I have never left a salon and felt that I truly like or loved my hair. I always thought I would like it after I styled or the color toned down. \r \r This was not the case at Salon Dacota I loved the cut and color immediately. I will definately be returning! more

Great place for style and friendliness 7/6/2010

I got the best haircut and Chrissy really focused on what I was struggling with for a cut I could manage on a day to day routine but fix up for a big event coming up. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend Chrissy if you are tired of your hair style but unsure of what to do next. Pros: Chrissy really listens to what you want more

Best Salon in St. Louis Area!!! 7/2/2010

Well, I have to say, it took me ten years since I moved to St. Louis to finally find a Salon that does great color and cut, all in one. I read the reviews and hoped for the best, and I was not disappointed.\r \r Trish is one of the co-owners and she will spend the time to ask you what you want for your style of cut and color and make suggestions. I think her genuine care and personal attention is what makes her special, but after she finishes with your color and cut, you can see her real talent. Schwartzkopf color is what they use, and it's one of the best hair coloring products you can have on your hair. I observed the other stylists while I was in the chair and you can tell, they all love what they do at Salon Dacota.\r \r I've traveled alot and been to Salons throught out the country, and the only one that came close, is one I went to in Manhattan (Trump Tower) back in the eighty's. I know alot of people here in St. Louis think that the best hair and color is done in Clayton, but I've tried three times and have been sorely disappointed there. This is it, the real thing.\r When you walk in the door, to the time you leave, it's about you the customer!! Pros: Professional Color & Cut all in one. Cons: none. more
