Very quick and convenient drop off and pick up. Good introduction or our small dog to the pack. John went our fo his way to get us set up on a Sunday for the following Monday morning. Would and eill recommend to friends and coworkers. Thanks for caring for our loved dog.\r more

I found this place online after visiting several other larger places. I have a 4 month old puppy and wanted a place that was smaller, and gave my dog a lot of attention. I couldn't believe how nice they were and how beautiful the place was!! My puppy is a mini doxie, so he needed a place that he is protected. I'm so happy I found them!!! Check them out if you’re looking for daycare. You'll fall in love.\r more

The guys that run the place took time to get to know our dog and then introduced her slowly to all the other dogs there. The back yard was super clean and fresh water was everywhere. I feel completely comfortable leaving our dog in a place with round the clock care and supervision, no crates or cages, comfy couches to lounge on and lots of dogs to play with. The guys are loving and sweet to every dog and they have experience with training and correcting behavior. I more excited now for my trip this Christmas knowing my pup will be in good caring hands, she will probably even forget we have left!\r more

Pup keeps on growing and we keep on going. Our energetic puppy loves Craig and Safe Journey. Business forces me to travel every 6 weeks or so and I always bring our pup to SJ.\r more

Craig, his daughter, family and staff showered our pup with all kinds of love and attention. He was such a happy little guy when we picked him up. He did that little back end wiggle waggle jig. He nuzzled Craig, was well exercised, fed and in overall good spirits. He smelled like dog for sure but I figure he made friends, socialized and played thus got that potent dog scent. Good stuff.\r more

    Serving our local community's need for top of the line crate-free boarding, Safe Journey is the best in the business when it comes to caring for animals, people and the Earth. It's crucial to our vision to be compassionate not just to pets, but to humans and our environment, as well. That's why we operate with social and economic justice and environmental sustainability in mind at all times.


    How it works:


    You make a reservation to bring your dog to us during check-in hours. Your pet spends the day and night at our comfortable Victorian home, with us and other dogs. For your dog's protection, our home is climate-controlled and our yard is pesticide-free. We care for an average of 5 dogs during the week and average of 9 dogs on weekends. During the Holidays we care for 15-19 dogs.


    While in our home, your pet enjoys frequent contact with care providers, petting, play time, and more. We follow all your instructions regarding your pet's feeding, medications and appropriate behavior. Dogs are free to roam 1400 square feet of space. Outdoors they can bask in the sun on our back deck and play in our fully secure and fenced yard.


    We are a family business and incorporate our lives into our work. This means we sometimes have to safely arrange the pets while we run to the post office, to the grocery store and other errands. All dogs need to be family raised dogs that get along great with people and other dogs.
