We love Safe Journey Dog Boarding because Tyson loves it. We know he loves it because every time we drop him off, he's dragging us to get inside!! Plus, he is super tired when we pick him up, which makes us very happy. more

You know what they say about people who do not have kids, but do have pets. The pet is the child and Scotty not only is my son he is my best friend. I love my dog and I am grateful to have a crate free boarding place I can take him. more

I have never used the boarding services here but I must say I am very surprised to read them. I have had a few training lessons with Winona and my dog, George. I found that she was very helpful and new what she was doing. George is now great to walk on his leash, begs less, and jumps less too. more

I had to rush out of town last week for an emergency family thing. I had no one to look after Scout, so I thought I'd try Safe Journey. I had a safe journey home and back, and I think Scout had a safe journey in my absence. He was tired when I picked him up which I can only take as a good sign. more

Unmatched attention and care! At Safe Journey Dog Boarding, our pup is welcomed as part of the family, plays with her favorite doggie buddies, then loved and hugged as if she's their own. It's like she on her own doggy vacation. Did we say she's hugged a lot? There's no comparison in care anywhere! more

I heard good about this place, so I took my dog here for daycare service. My dog really likes it here. He get to play all day day long in a nice place. I really trust them with my dog. The staff here are really friendly, nice, and truly cares about pets. more

I have been going here for a couple years now. My dog loves it and I feel he is well taken care of, I looked into a lot of kennels before coming to this one and feel this one is the best for my needs and its so important for me to know my doggie is safe :) more

    Serving our local community's need for top of the line crate-free boarding, Safe Journey is the best in the business when it comes to caring for animals, people and the Earth. It's crucial to our vision to be compassionate not just to pets, but to humans and our environment, as well. That's why we operate with social and economic justice and environmental sustainability in mind at all times.


    How it works:


    You make a reservation to bring your dog to us during check-in hours. Your pet spends the day and night at our comfortable Victorian home, with us and other dogs. For your dog's protection, our home is climate-controlled and our yard is pesticide-free. We care for an average of 5 dogs during the week and average of 9 dogs on weekends. During the Holidays we care for 15-19 dogs.


    While in our home, your pet enjoys frequent contact with care providers, petting, play time, and more. We follow all your instructions regarding your pet's feeding, medications and appropriate behavior. Dogs are free to roam 1400 square feet of space. Outdoors they can bask in the sun on our back deck and play in our fully secure and fenced yard.


    We are a family business and incorporate our lives into our work. This means we sometimes have to safely arrange the pets while we run to the post office, to the grocery store and other errands. All dogs need to be family raised dogs that get along great with people and other dogs.
