Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service

We had a gas leak in my mom's house. The gas was turned off in both small apartments, so no heat. The plumber, Paul, from the Covington, Ky branch, was sent to answer the call. My husband met him in the basement of my aunt's house. Paul was very professional, courteous and knowledgable. He found the problem and advised my husband on what to do next. This was a 2-day extensive job. The crew were from the Roto-Rooter (880) located at 700 Scott Street, Covington, KY. The job was performed with extreme professionalism. I live in an old house with ancient plumbing and most plumbers don't want to handle my problems. We had two drains that were either extremely slow, or in the case of an upstairs bathroom we are renovating, wasn't draining at all. I set up my appointment for 4-6pm and although they were several hours late, someone from customer service called me to keep me updated on the arrival time. Much better than what I have experienced in the past with nobody ever showing up at all. Had sump pump fail with heavy rain storm. Csalled Roto-Rooter and they had a plumber that could come that day but not til 8-11 P.M.. I was happy to see him and he did a good job replacing the pump. Wasn't able to reseal the hole though for the radon system nor fix the water from pump spraying outside house where pipe cover was cracked. Was told he would have to return for that and it would be a fee. But he did good job replacing pump. They were a bit expensive but knowledgeable. more

I discovered a sewer back up on Saturday. Called Roto Rooter in Covington, KY and Rex was at the house 2 hours later. He's a very knowlegable plumber and pointed out what needed to be repaired. He was able to assemble a crew to be out the next day. The three man crew were very professional and installed a new sewer line in a few hours. more

I had a clogged bathroom sink. It was a Saturday morning and the only place I could think to call, who would probably be able to get someone out that day, was Roto-Rooter. I called and the receptionist told me someone would be out within 3 hours. An hour or so later, they called me back to let me know the plumber was on his way from Covington, KY. He arrived about 15 minutes later. He was very nice, although I didn't get his name. He was very professional. He cleaned the sink for me once he was done. Overall, I was satisified with the service. However, I do think it was VERY pricey. more

Being a scientist and my husband in finance, we are not DIYers. Nonetheless, we decided to remodel our 3 bathrooms and everything was going well until we got to the tub faucets and realized the copper piping had to be cut and soldered. That's beyond our scope and I decided to call a plumber. I remembered that I had used Roto-Rooter in Covington, KY before when my outside spigot had frozen and burst during an ice storm. They were prompt and curtious. I was leaving town for business in 2 days and the plumber came the same day I called! The plumber fixed all 3 tub faucets in less than 1hr! The best part is he actually cleaned up after himself (unheard of nowadays). My husband is thankful he can continue the project while I'm out of town ; ) more

My son's tub drain was cloged so my first thought was oh no I need a plumber, thinking of friends, friends of friends then it dawned on me to call Roto-Rooter. I had a coper pipe burst and called them a while ago. So I went on the web searching Roto-Rooter, found my state and phone number. Called em up and the lady that answered was so sweet listening to my cloged drain story, she sympathized with me, she said we have a tech waiting to respond and can be there in the next hour, I was so amazed thinking it would have to wait til Saturday or next week, I explained further that I would like an experienced plumber as it's an old tub drain and she noted this on the call, next thing I know another lady called explained who she was and said I have Joe to respond within the next half hour, I said wonderful! Joe was right on time. Very professional, understanding and actually listening to my babble taking the time to fully answer my questions. Even made recommendations for preventative maintenance to protect the drain. Fully satisfied and will call Roto-Rooter, Covington KY if needed in the future. Two days of agony, palm of my hands raw and sore from plunging a toilet. When at the end of my rope a light went on in my head, the picture of two big R's, Roto-Rooter, means Reliable-Results, Reasonable-Rates!!! I called Roto-Rooter around 7:15 AM and the plumber, Curtis Sword was at my home an hour later. Curtis took care of the situation and my agony ended. During this last Flood warning, I had tremendous septic issues which backed up my lines and blocked further use even after having the septic tanks pumped and empty. A call late on Saturday afternoon found Roto Rooter more than willing to assist with my dilemma. They scheduled a time for the same day and promised a technician would be there. Though they were a little behind schedule, they proactively contacted me and kept me informed of their technicians progress.\r \r I was exceptionally pleased to meet Nick Asbrock when he did arrive. He presented himself professionally and assessed my needs quickly. He was able to quickly quote the cost and estimated time needed to accomplish the job. Just as he stated, the work was done on time and the cost was as quoted. No surprises and no mess. I had a clogged drain in my kitchen sink which was also backing up into my dishwasher. Because I live in a condo, my upstairs neighbor and I realized my sink was backing up whenever she ran her kitchen faucet.\r \r I called Roto-Rooter in Covington, KY to schedule a plumber. Nick Asbrook was quick, efficient, personable and did a wonderful job fixing the issue at hand. He also provided some advice on how to prevent the problem form occuring again. Only issue is that they were so busy that day, they were unable to send a plumber during the 2 hour time frame I was quoted. I would still recommend them and will use Roto-Rooter again! more

We recently purchased a home, and have spent the majority of the last 6 months trying to keep up/fix with what the other homeowners did not do. Needless to say, there was a lot of ""upkeep"" not done to the house, and it has kept us very busy! We noticed that over the past month or so, that the master bath shower developed quite a leak. We didn't think anything of it, so we replaced the shower head. Then it kept leaking...and leaking...and leaking. We realized that it was not possible to leak when the water was completely turned off. After removing the shower handle, we realized that the copper backing had completely snapped off. We called a local plumber (one we have used before) but they were not available to take our call. In a complete panic we called our homeowners warranty, and they denied the claim. We called Roto-Rooter which was an excellent choice! Although they couldn't assist us that evening (it was not such a pressing issue since we do have another shower in the house) they came when we needed them to the next morning. Mike was excellent. Answered all of my questions professionally and talked about all of the options with the shower handle. He worked very hard (within the time frame he was given) and let me know if he needed to do something outside the normal realm because of where the shower was located. He was very professional (even with my two little dogs!) I would recommend this to anyone in need of a plumber! more
