Roto-rooters plumber of Indianapolis, Tristan was punctual, professional, efficient and friendly. He was very helpful with our sewage backup. He was knowledgeable and truly took pride in his craft. Thank you and we will surely use him again if need be! more

I feel so relieved that Rudy explained everything so clearly. Our Tub was backing up with debree from our garbage disposal.. He was specific in how he would go about the process in fixing the problem and did not charge me a fee to check out the problem first.. he was at my house with in the hour that I called, very polite and considerate of my carpets and floors with his shoes and equipment. He gave me pointers on preventative maintenance which I so very much appreciated. Problem was fixed and along the way he explained the process... totally impressed with the service and I am a hard impress!!! more

We found a large amount of water in the basement of our house on Sunday. We discovered that the floor drain was overflowing and soaking everything. After several attempts to clear it, my husband called Roto-Rooter. Triston arrived promptly the next morning. He attempted for several hours to clear the stubborn drain. He was courteous, pleasant, and made sure to clean up after he was finished. Unfortunately, he was not able to fix the problem, since there is a larger issue, but he called in a supervisor to oversee the next project which will be completed tomorrow. They also subtracted the cost of the his services from the bill for the larger project. The services do seem rather pricy, but I have found that it is comparable to others doing the same job. I appreciate the prompt courteous service. I will be sure to use Roto-Rooter again if I have any problems in the future. more

Had the unfortunate experience of a flooded basement..... had to call to have a new sump-pump installed URGENTLY!! Roto-Rooter (5557 S. Belmont) was able to get to our house very quickly and get a new pump installed pronto!! Andy, our service professional, was very kind, considerate and tried to help make the most of a very trying situation. He discussed with us the problem, the solution, and how to improve our chances of this not happening to us again. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future! more

This would be our 3rd time using Roto-Rooter ! The first time all our drains were all clogged up everything running into the tub a huge mess they had to put in a cleanout and got it all unclogged in just a few hours on that same day we had them put in a water heater they were awesome and very polite...2nd time we discovered the floor soaked we had a old water meter in the hall closet and it was leaking everywhere they arrived and fixed that problem in a jiffy and very affordable so came the 3rd time we realized we had a pipe that burst under the house and it was spraying everywhere we called Roto-Rooter and they were here in 20 minutes and of course fixed it in a hurry before any serious damage ...I love Roto-Rooters guys they are the best and I would defently recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber............ more

I called roto-rooter due to my main drain being clogged. The technician took his time and made sure to get all of the roots out that were clogging the drain, as compared to previously in which only a small part of the roots had been take out. I was very pleased with the service I received! more

I called Roto-Rooter at 9:00 am on a Sunday with a leaking water heater and within a few hours I had the technician, John Jaynes, show up , We had our quote within minutes and was told that he could have a replacement the same day. I was very impress by his knowledge and professionalism and would definitely use Roto-Rooter again. more

On Jan. 5, 2001 I called all kinds of plumbers then I reached Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Indianapolis,IN they were so prompt on the phone and so polite very wonderful to talk to. I explained my situation she informed me that a service tech. comes out takes a look and quotes me on site at no cost at all. So I gave her my information she informed me that a tech would be out to my house within an hour. I was very surprised considering that other companies put us off till the next day or I had to leave messages to get a quote from them. They showed up within an hour as I was told he was very polite as he entered my home he put on shoe covers to protect the carpet and floor.(very considerate) he introduced himself I prompted him on the deal we had with my drain being clogged, the plumber did some investigating checked all possible causes informed me on what it is and how he could fix it. He gave me a very prompt quote in a timely fashion we agreed to the price and in no time he went to work, we were really pleased with his work he snaked the drain tested it, re-snaked it again told us what was going on and how to help it out even more to help the flow. also explained in the future what Roto-Rooter could do to help us complete the piping problem that was originally done in the house. We were so pleased with the whole experience the Roto-Rooter and their plumber gave us the timely fashion they got to us and fixed it the further education their plumber gave us. I would most definitely use Roto-Rooter from Indianapolis,IN again and recommend them to anyone that ever needs drain work they don't have hidden costs like I was hearing from other companies and the entire company as a whole is very professional you don't find that very much anymore. If you need a plumber you have found the ones to call thanks Roto-Rooter I will call when my next problem comes up. I really like the fact that I can depend on their word to be here on time or call if their is a complication their customer care is unknown from others they come prepared andf get it done the first time right. more

This is the third time I have had to use this service in 15 years and every time the service people are wonderful. I really, really like that they keep you updated if they are running late or early. Price wise- they are comparable to other plumbing services. I like that I am able to depend on their word to be here. more

They were very quick to respond...although their prices have gone up almost $100 since the last time we used them. They don't give quotes over the phone so there is no way to know until they get here how much they are going to charge. It was $240 just to snake our tub drain. I will be buying my own snaking machine for the future. more

Service within an hour of calling! Steve was excellent and courteous. Our laundry line was completely blocked and he cleared it. Addditionally, he gave us some good advice on maintaining the line which I believe will be very beneficial. more

A clogged kitchen drain the day before a party resisted my clearing attempts, so I was relieved to hear that a Roto-Rooter tech was available and would arrive within the hour. When an overturned semi on the highway caused a delay, Rick called twice to report progress. When Steve arrived, friendly and clear in his explanation of alternatives, he got to work. After a half hour of power tool noise I heard a loud "Oh no!" followed by 4 more "oh no's" but he completed the job for the originally estimated price, cleaned up after the job, and the party was a success. If there's a better plumber in Indianapolis I'll be surprised. more

My main sump pump had a hole in the side of it that was shooting water out the side of the pump and causing it to run constantly and over heat. It was a sunday afternoon when I noticed to problem. I tried calling two other places that ended up being closed on the weekend. When I finally called Roto-Rooter, which I should have done in the first place, they were very quick to get my appointment scheduled and kept in contact with me on an updated time line for when someone would be out. They arrived on the time that they quoted me and had my new sump pump installed quickly as well, and all for a lot less than I was anticipating. Overall I rate this experience as excellent and next time I need repairs done Roto-Rooter will be the first place I call. more
