I am originally from London and had a very difficult time finding an excellent Hair laser removal center in NY. I have been using the treatment for 3 years in London and had a difficult time finding the same level of service as I was getting there. One of my close friends had recommended Romeo & Juliette and I right away realized that this is what I was looking for. I have been a member for the last 3 years and can really say that if you are looking for a great service hair laser removal spa, this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly and courtious and the technicians are very skilled. I have recommended this place to many of my friends who are now regular clients as well. Excellent Service 6/7/2006

The first time when I arrived in Romeo & Julitte I was really amazed to receive such an excellent service. Living in New York for the last 20 years, I have visited many spas and salons and the service can always vary. In Romeo Juliette everything is excellent. The staff are so friendly, the technicians are so skilled, the machines that are used are top of the line. One of the things that I was also amazed at is the fact the the owner comes and greets you himself. The place really makes you feel at home. They make sure that you get the best treatment but at the same time really pay strong attention to your skin type in order to cause the least amount of irritation. I never considered laser hair removal untill 1 year ago when several of my friends have told me about Romeo & Juliette. They told me, ""Once you will go there, you will never touch a razor again"". I had my first appointment a little over a year ago and I have been using Rome & Juliette's services for every kind of hair removal. There facility is clean and well furnished. The technicians are very skilled and extremely friendly. The best part about this hair removal center is that you never have to wait. The BEST CHOICE IN HAIR LASER REMOVAL!!! I have been using hair removal spas for several years now and around 2 years ago a friend of mine recommended Romeo & Juliette on 57th Street. Back hair almost gone 6/7/2006

I went to Romeo & Juliette after spending a fortune at other laser centers trying to remove my back hair. Chris was upfront and told me that it would take a few more sessions to get rid of it. He used a new laser on me that they had just purchased. After two sessions, my back hair is growing back but finer and not noticeable at all. I am told that I will need two more sessions. The technicians during all my visits were quite professional. Only once I had to wait for more than 20 minutes. I love the place but particularly I am pleased with Chris's honesty. My search finally ended 6/6/2006

I've had 6 treatments at another laser center however only maybe %20 of my hair was gone. I deeply searched to find the right place this time. Not only from Citysearch but from other laser forums I found out about Romeo Juliette and legendary Chris. He described to me all machines and different treatment types and why other treatmens did not work on me. Because even laser treatments can be customised. Since he has all different types of machines , at different times different lasers should be used. His expertise really amazed me. Now I became more informed about laser hair removal. How can you go wrong 6/4/2006

After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned because I did not know what to believe. However, my curiosity gave in so I scheduled a free consultation. I was expecting a long waiting time but was taken in within 5 minutes. The technician was very pleasant and explained everything in detail. The pricing was cheaper than my friend who was getting treated at another facility nearby. The technician asked me many questions in detail. She was very knowledgeable. After a 40 minute leg treatment and a quick introduction to Chris( owner ) I was on my way. In conclusion, the reviews that I read were quite helpful however, some of them had nothing to do with the truth. The place looks great, feels great and the staff is eager to please. No More Hair !!! 6/3/2006

There is nothing to say, these guys know what they are doing. I am ready for the summer with no hair on my legs, bikini, underarms. Since they have lasers for tanned skin,it was no issue.What can I ask for more. The facility, treatments quality, their professionalism is beyond imagination. They took care of me for many sessions until now, they told me to be patient, they never lied to me, they did not try to sell me extra and I ended up with being the most amazing hair free skin. Exceptional results 6/1/2006

I have the darkest skin on the planet and was advised by many of my friends not to get treated because of my skin color. I had a dark shadow all the way from my chin down to my neck and chest because of ingrowns that I used to tweeze daily. It was really affecting my self esteem. After several visits to many centers that turned me down, Romeo & Juliette made me feel confortable enough to get treated by them, as they have many lasers for all skin types. Also, during my visit there, I saw many dark skinned customers. I now have a smooth and lighter neck and can wear more revealing clothes. Best of New York 6/1/2006

I have had 4 treatments previously on my back in another facility with not so great results. After finding Romeo & Juliette on the internet, I took a chance and got treated twice. The results are amazing !!! Chris consulted with me for over half an hour and assured me that this time around, I would not be disappointed. He was right . My brown back hair has been reduced dramatically, as they used a very powerful laser that they recently added to their equipment list. Reviews can be deceiving but I am living proof of my success. I found this great place from Citysearch in Europe. I have been coming for over a year. Everytime I come to New York, I start a new area to get treated, as I am totally happy with my treatments.They are caring and careful with my treatments. They always ask me questions to make sure that nothing has changed in my situation. Guess what ?? I shopped around and did my homework. Christian and his staff are very professional and maintain a calm and enjoyable office. They are very flexible with packaging and really pay attention to detail, they are very thorough. They offer several different varieties of equipment suited to your needs. I could not possibly be more impressed with Romeo & Juliette. The staff is professional, helpful, courteous, and very warm. They actually listen to you AND know what they're talking about! The facility is clean and pleasant and looks more like a spa than a medical office. Laser hair removal is expensive, obviously, but they actually offer a pretty decent flat-rate package deal here that includes ""clean ups"" in between sessions, which I didn't hear of anywhere else. They have a number of lasers and seem totally up to speed about what is right for a specific person's needs. Great, great, great !!! 5/17/2006

I was skeptical about having this done. I only waxed my bikini and had terrible ingrowns. I just wanted to give laser hair removal a shot. The technicians were very explanatory and thorough. There was some minimal stinging at first but within a few minutes I was done. The hair took approx 5-7 days to shed. However, now, after three weeks, the area is totally smooth and my ingrowns have disappeared !!! Although I may need a few more treatments, I was not rushed into buying a package, although it was a much better deal. I know that I am going back to this Center for more treatments. i wanted to stay away from the treatment centers that were commercial, and more sales oriented. I appreciate how well they educate their clients. The place is incredibly clean, well organized( with scheduling), and the staff is friendly and most importantly very well experienced within this field. They are honest with what has to be done, and how many sessions would be necessary.RESULTS are incredible. Cannot be more satisfied. They have severeal different machines that suites various skin colors. I went to several other places before finding out about Romeo and Juliette through a friend. I was looking for a reliable, long-term laser treatment but kept finding over-priced service and not completely honest management. R&J is straightforward in their first-timer consultation, about their rates (which are the BEST i've ever come across in Manhattan) and they are really nice but not pushy people. The owner Chris is extremely well-informed in his field, and the staff consists of trustworthy experts who understand your skin and your level of comfort. I did wait a little before my appointments each time I went but that never exceeded 15 min. And knowing that when I go in the technician will do her best even if it means going over a few minutes is to me great service. more

I had tried laser hair removal somewhere else and i had a horrible experience.But i have terrible ingrowns, so my friend convience me to go at R & J, where i meet Angela. After a relatinely painless sessions, i am free of unwanted facial hair.Angela took amazing care of me , and because of her expertise, i no longer spend time in front of the mirror looking for unsightly hairs that got in the way of my confidence.
