NEVER GO HERE! 12/30/2018

If I could rate the Quick Lane at 0 stars I would. I took my car in to get new tires and when I picked my car up, there was a piece of my bumper broken off by the wheel-well. I talked to the Service Lane Manager, Luis Dominguez, and he said that I need to get an estimate to replace my bumper, but promised that they will help me pay for the replacement. After I got an estimate and reported the price to Luis, he said they are not going to help pay for the replacement even though they are the ones who broke it. I had previous damage above the wheel-well so they said that is just the risk I take when getting my tires changed. He then hung up on me without even saying goodbye. My husband then tried calling the General Manager, Jack Wroten, three times and left voicemails, but he never returned any of his phone calls. We will never take our car here again. They damage cars, go back on promises, and are rude on top of it all. I can't believe the owners of the company would put people in management positions who treat others this way. more

My wife and I have just completed our second new vehicle purchase in the last 9 months from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins with sales person Nick Carestia. Our first purchase was a new 2010 escape, and the second was a new 2010 F150 Lariat. Working with the Spradley Barr team was a pleasure. Nick was always professional, working with us to help us understand the options available and never pressured us to make a decision on the spot. Especially with the F150 purchase, Nick took a lot of time with me during our decision process. After the purchase, Nick spent a considerable amount of time explaining all the vehicle functions and warranty information and never seemed rushed eventhough he had already made the sale. After the sale, we met with the business office and that also was a pleasurable experience. No pressure there either to purchase options but listened to all our questions and took all the time necessary for our discussion. Overall a pleasure to work with the Spradley Barr team and especially Nick Carestia - without a doubt, we will visit this team again for our future vehicle purchases. Great work guys........... more

This is the 3rd time I have purchased a vehicle from Spradley Barr. Kenny was helpful and very easy to work with, he spent most of three days with me looking at quite a few cars, I never once felt like he was trying to hurry me in making my decision, he gave straight a forward answers to the questions I had, and if he didn't have the answers he was on the phone getting them. I will have no problems with recommending him to friends and family that I know are looking for a new or used vehicle more

Very Pleased 8/2/2011

My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process of purchasing a new Escape from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins. John Fischer immediately responded to my e-mail when I requested information about the Escape. He gave me a quote within a few minutes. We set up a meeting time and were introduced to Mike Cook. Mike found the available Escapes in the area and we spent a lot of time talking about what features they had and what we needed. I have a canoe and required roof side rails on the Escape. We test drove an Escape with Mike and verified that my wife could easily drive it. She is not very tall and has problems in some cars. We determined that the electronically adjustable seat was something we wanted and decided to limit our search to the Escape XLT models. Mike and John searched the available Escapes and found a black one, our choice of color, that met our requirements. We were offered a price and what we would receive for trading in our Jeep Cherokee. The negotiations were handled in a forthright manner. Although we were prepared to pay cash, it was determined that we could save almost $1000 by getting a loan and then paying it off. Next we saw Napoleon Gibson who stepped us through the lengthy paperwork. He carefully explained everything we needed to sign. Napoleon helped us through the process. On Wednesday, we picked up our shiny new black Escape. Mike gave us a complete tour of the vehicle, explaining all the many features. Our Escape has been running great and is very enjoyable to drive. The Sirius radio has an enormous selection of music and other programming. We now need to get a blue tooth phone to use the Sync. The entire experience was great and we have a really nice new SUV. more

I feel we received a fair amount for our trade and a good price on our new vehicle. There was never any pressure and everyone was helpful and friendly. Visited several dealerships, and the people at Spradley Barr were the most enjoyable to work with. I'd recommend Spradley Barr and John Fischer. more

Greg was very knowledgable about the Mazda 5 that we purchased. He was very friendly throughout the whole sale. We had to return the next day so the service department could make sure all of the fluid levels were full. Greg was waiting for us as soon as we arrived and very friendly again. He answered all questions we had. I would recommend Greg to others when buying a Mazda. more

satisfying buying experience 7/25/2011

We worked with internet salesperson John Fisher to purchase a Mazda CX-9 Touring with Bose/moonroof/liftgate pacakge. John was the first and only internet salesperson from a long list of dealers to get us a quote on the vehicle we wanted in the configuration we wanted. He worked with us to get what I think was a great price. He also did the best he could on our trade in.. though I do see it being listed on their website for nearly $7,000 more than we accepted.. but that's ok as I feel the value we got was fair and it is not my business what price they want to advertise it at. John and Spradley Barr Ford/Mazda properly handled the rather significant problem of the car we bought being late for delivery. We had been told it would arrive early the next week after we signed the papers. That turned into the next week.. then the week after that. We were concerned as we had already purchased the required insurance and were receiving payment books in the mail. I won't go into detail.. but John and Spradley Barr compensated us for the almost month we were without our new car in a most fair and acceptable manner. Kenny from Mazda sales delivered the car.. and he was great as well. Everyone we dealt with including the finance manager Napoleon were extremely friendly and pleasant to be around. I'm going to spread the word about Spradley Barr and encourage friends/co-workers to check them out for a satisfying car buying experience. more

Tremendous Pleasure 7/20/2011

It was a tremendous pleasure to work with Paul when purchasing our new Flex. I had met Paul several years earlier at a commercial vehicle event. Working with fleet sales folks at my employer, it seemed appropriate to work with a commercial sales person for my own vehicle purchase. Not only was Paul completely thorough in his knowledge, but remained super professional while still being friendly. I have never received so much appreciation when working on a car deal. Thanks, Spradley-Barr for having Paul Philips on your staff. Terri was the first salesman to get up and come to greet me when i arrived at Spradley Barr Ford to purchase a vehicle. From that point foward he continued to put forth his due diligence making sure that at the end of the day I left a happy and satisfied customer with a new vehicle. I rated my overall experience "OK" not due to Terri's efforts as a salesman, but due to the difficult time I had securing financing for the vehicle I chose. It was a nervous experience knowing that i signed the title to my trade in over and didn't have financing lined out for another week. In the end everything worked out and I am pleased with Spradley Barr's professionals and my new Ford truck. more

I contacted John Fischer after looking online at local dealerships. He responded to my email very quickly and then followed up with a phone call. He went to work right away trying to find a car that would be right for me. I thought that I wanted another SUV since I had driven my Lincoln Navigator for 10 years and loved it. Before that I had a Ford Aerostar so I was use to large vehicles. That happens when you have 3 boys over 6ft tall!! Well John found options for me to look at. However, when I got there I told him I had a rental car since my Navigator was not running. I had rented a Ford Fusion and had driven it for 2 days. I really liked the car a lot and the size was perfect for me. The boys are all grown so I really just needed a car that was lare enough for me to feel comfortable in but not as large as I was use to driving. John immediately started looking on the lot and found a Fusion for me to look at. He showed me all of the features the car had and the sync system was very impressive. I was convinced it was the car for me. John offered to show me other cars but I said no I really wanted the Fusion. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I had was outstanding. The dealership and everyone I came into contact with were great. more

I have never had such a great experience at a dealership and I hae been to many throughout the years. Seth is a no pressure salesman and was great to work with. He basically destroyed the traditional negative reputation of what potential purchasers expect when going to a car dealer. Everything about my experience buying a used truck from Spradley Barr Ford was excellent, from the test driving to the financing. Brian (sales) was friendly and flexible in working to meet my terms. He worked with me on the price of the truck and the value of my trade. Scott (financing) was also friendly and extremely patient in explaining everything to me twice with regard to everything I was getting in my warranty. Couldn't have had a better experience with my first dealership purchase. more

I contacted the dealership originally through the internet. I got an almost immediate response from Paul Atkinson, even though it was after business hours as I recall. I do not live in Fort Collins, and was only planning to be in town a few hours. Paul was very accommodating to my time constraint, and made himself available at my convenience with less than 24hr notice. My Daughter and I met with Paul and subsequently purchased a new vehicle. I'm an old guy and have been around the block more than a few times with car salesmen. Everyone I dealt with at Spradley Barr was a straight shooter (or at least as close as car salesmen can get), and a nice respectful person. It was without a doubt the least stressful vehicle buying experience I have ever had. I have always tended to vote with my feet, Spradley Barr will likely get first shot at my next vehicle purchase. more

Jim and Joel are friendly, professional, and follow through. They remember their customers and take care of them after the sale is made. The truck I came in to look at was already sold, and Seth was very helpful suggesting an alternative. He was very knowledgeable, particularly about a non-Ford that had only been on the lot a day. Working with him to get a fair price and a fair trade it was easy. I didn't feel pressured at all. We had a lot of time to spend waiting for the finance manager, and from our conversations during that time it was evident that Seth was very knowledgable and readily able to answer all my off the wall questions about various Fords and aspects of trucks in general. Even better, I'm very happy with the truck I bought - his suggestion was accurate! more
