Customer service with sales person Kenny was second to none. He showed my 5 year and I 4 different trucks before I decided on the one that would work, showed my 5 year old respect and even came up with a game to keep him busy. Price was great on the used truck and on my trade in (after pushing alittle). The 2 year or 100k mile no cost warranty on power train was awesome too. What else can I say go purchase a car/truck from this dealer. more

Great experience buying 2011 Ford Edge. Price was right on new car as well as my trade. Shopped on-line and worked out the details with John over phone as I am out of state and it all went smoothly. Financing and paperwork was smooth and quick. Will go back again. more

Being my first time purchasing I car from a dealer, I was somewhat intimidated. Kenny Bunch took the time and listened to me, probably learning way more than he cared to know, and answered all my questions, plus gave information that I wasn't aware of needing to know about purchasing a car. Together, we weighed the options and carefully reviewed them. After a few days of communication and consideration, I drove home my first new car and love it! more

I was able to peruse the lot without being attacked by salespeople. I let them know I was just looking and would come and get them if I wanted help, they respected that. On another day I just went in to drive some vehicles to compare with other crossover SUVs I was looking at, knowing I would not be buying that day, they did not pressure me. I ended up ordering a 2011 Ford Flex to get one exactly the way I wanted it, and overall it was a pleasure working with Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins, CO. more

Paul Atkinson was a pleasure to deal with in my new truck buying experience. He was professional and very forthcoming on matters and did not make me jump through the usual hoops that I have encountered in prior car buying experiences. He was prompt in corresponding whether it was via phone or e-mail. If I inquired about something he did not know the answer to he would admit it and then find the answer and get back with me. For me, first impressions are important when I come into a dealership and meet up with a salesperson. If I don't get a good feel, I am apt to go somewhere else. Paul has that professional demeanor that gave me a good feel about continuing on at that dealership. He gives the impression he is not flashy or arrogant, no overbearing cologne smell and seems like just an average guy trying to make a living for his family. I like that and would recommend him highly. more

Very Satisfied 4/29/2011

On December 13th I purchased the 1998 Mustang convirtible. I had been looking at it on your website for some time. When I called Kenny Bunch answered. He was courtious and helpful with my questions concerning the vehicle. He didn't try to dodge any questions or give me any run-around. We talked about price and what it would take to close the deal. I drove down from Cheyenne to have a look at the car and take it for a test drive. Kenny had the car out front and ready to go. We did a walk around and looked things over. The test drive went very well. He was accomodating to the point that he let my daughter ride in the front seat. It took some time that evening to finalize the paperwork but he kept me company and made sure things went smooth. All in all I was very satisfied with the experience and am quite satisfied with the vehicle. more

Pleasure to work with 4/27/2011

We purchased a 2008 F350 King Ranch from Dave and Spradley Barr a couple years ago and because of that, we have found the only salesman and dealership that we care to work with. That is why we came back to get my 2011 Expedition. Dave is always a pleasure to work with as he is friendly, polite and honest. We then entered into negotiations on the price with Jim. This vehicle is mine and as such, I appreciated that he negotiated with me and not my husband. In today's world, I often get overlooked as a woman when there is "man-talk" to be had. Not at Spradley Barr and not from any of the staff. Thank you. This also carried over to Scott, the finance guy. He was a pleasure to work with. I would like to thank Jim for being very pleasant while negotiating with me. When I have a price in my head, I can be very stubborn and trying. I'm sure there was more than once that Jim thought his head might explode, but he remained nothing but nice. more

Cheap 4/18/2011

Went in for an oil/tire rotation/ car wash. I had a coupon which included all makes and models. They took my vehicle, said it would be about one hour. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes. However, the service rep was considerate, and without me even asking for anything, did the service for no charge. They had complimentry coffee and wifi. This was a bit out of the way for me, however, I will try them again. The price is far cheaper than even "Jiffylube" or Walmart. I checked the tires and they were rotated, I will check the oil just to make sure, after reading the other review. I get the feeling they dont sell many new cars, but do alot of service work. more

VERY PLEASED CUSTOMER 2/28/2011

I was very pleased with the service we recieved from Paul, The only part I was dissapointed with was the accident which happened with my truck which was not Paul's fault, but it was made up in a fair and fast way. Paul was very friendly and very easy to work with, a great price on this awesome pickup was also another huge bonus. Paul returned any missed calls in a timely manor and replied to any emails I sent. Even after the sale was made he still made sure I had everything I needed. I was very impressed with Spradley Barr Ford as they treated me like a normal person and also as a friend, I will recommend anyone I come across to them and will also return for any other buissness I may need in the future. more

I have worked with Paul twice now in a very short period and both have been great. I had bought a used 2000 Lincoln LS only 3 months ago and decided I wanted to upgrade to a 2006 LS V8 they had on their lot (saw it online). I called Paul and told him what I wanted and asked if there was anything he could do for me. I was pretty skeptical as I had just bought the other car a few months ago and you're usually upside down for quite a while after a purchase. Paul worked out a VERY fair deal with me that basically worked out to a wash between the two cars (the 2006 being a bit more expensive of course). I may have paid a little bit for my impatience to get a V8 LS but it was minimal at best, and well worth it I might add! I would highly recommend dealing with Spradley and Paul in particular as he makes the experience both fair and simple (I walked in to the dealership at 5:30 and drove away in my new ride at 6:45, everything worked out over the phone for the most part). The only thing I'd ever say about the dealership is that their detail guys have a bit to learn about cleaning a car. They get it cleaned but I wouldn't call it detailed. I'm pretty picky though. more

My husband and I were looking for a new 2010 Mazda3 hatchback in Celestial Blue for our 18-year-old son who will be going off to college in a few months. I wanted a reliable, safe car for him more than anything else. We started our search in Colorado Springs where we live, and the customer service at Bob Penkhus was terrible. The salesman was indifferent to us and almost rude on occasion. They gave us a car to test drive that was dirty, low tire pressure, and on empty. We said "no thanks" and looked elsewhere. I did an internet search for the car and found Spradley Barr had one. I initiated contact through e-mail, and we had purchased our new car within 24 hours. The process was wonderful, and I really felt like they valued our business. That's the way I like to be treated when I am spending twenty thousand dollars! I will recommend this dealership in a heartbeat, and I have already done so twice already. We will be looking for another new car in a couple of years for my husband, and I already know we will be starting with Spradley Barr. more

This is what buying a car should be like 1/4/2011

I have bought 2 vehicles from your dealership and have a great story to tell about how nice it is to work with your firm. Several months ago, my daughter (a recent C. U. nursing school grad)had been looking to buy a new car. She called me several times during the process and was getting very frustrated with the poor experiences and was at her wits ends dealing with ""all of the rude and pushy sales people"" at various Denver dealerships. She looks rather young although she is 24. Finally when she called me in tears over her frustration with people thinking she was not qualified and trying to push her into cars she didn't want, I asked what car she wanted most and she said a new Mazda 3. I said I had an idea. It was late in the evening when I called Spradley Barr. I told the story of my daughter in tears and told the gentleman I have had good experiences with your dealership and wanted the same for my daughter with her first new car. Low and behold the man was Mr. Barr himself!! He said they had many to choose from and had me speak with the Sales Manager, Rich Clark. Rich offered to help us personally to make sure my daughter would have a great car buying experience. Rich quoted me a price that was $3,000 less than the prices she had been told in Denver and promised that would be the price when we arrived .I drove to Denver to pick up my daughter the next day. We met with Rich, she picked the color and style and once she drove it she was ""in heaven"" We finished the paper work and she drove back to Denver so proud of her first new car and most importantly left after very comfortable and pleasant buying experience. This time her tears were for joy! This is what buying a car should be like. My thanks to Rich and my compliments to Mr. Barr on his dealerships! more

I was one of those ladies who wanted to test drive EVERYTHING! I just didn't know what I wanted - I thought I wanted an Explorer, but the fuel economy was way less than I wanted. Sooo - the test drives began. Paul could not have been more helpful. He did everything but stand on his head to find me the 'right' vehicle, in my price range. He was patient, cared what I had to say, listened to my concerns,wants and needs. He found THE perfect vehicle for me. I will recommend THIS particular dealership - SOLELY because of my experience with Paul. Previous dealings were a bit 'shady'. I don't know what happened or WHEN it happened, but THANK GOODNESS change did happen. more
