Good shop. They figured out tough electrical problems on our old Acura Legend a couple of times in the past 2 years, it was able to pass smog thanks to them. I found them helpful, clear and competent. Didn?t even charge me for re-inspecting something I came back after one of the repairs. Also no sales pressure when I decided to not leave the car on a specific problem and fix it myself. more

Honest, friendly and helpful service. They have great deals on routine service and competitive rates on other repairs. They quoted me a price on shocks and I could not find a better deal. more

We have used Purrfect Auto of Tustin for all of our cars for years and they are the only ones we trust. They have always been fair and honest in our dealings with them and are more than willing to help us understand our options and the expenses involved. Our 1996 Suburban has over 260,000 miles on it and still runs great thanks to their care and expertise. more

Since 2001when I found Purrfect Auto in Tustin virtually all of the necessary maintenance and repair work on our three vehicles has been done there. I have always personally found all of their staff accommodating, pleasant, but above all knowledgeable. Both Jim and Pat (the Old Geezers mentioned in another review) have been in and and around auto repair work for thirty or so years. I also am a bit older than they and resent comments about the elderly which implicitly suggest they lack competence, fair dealing in business, or that they would ""bad mouth"" another auto repair business. I believe that having spent (by my estimate) around $7,000 with them over the last eight years and always felt good going out the door that I got exceptional service. I might further add that I would often just sit and watch and listen to what went on in the shop to see if I detected any hint of unfair dealings. I always came away with my confidence in tact that they dealt with everyone fairly, respectfully, and generally the customer got a much better deal from this independent than they every would have from a dealership. more

Thanks for your advice with the Inspection Reports, but most of all, you don't try and sell us repairs that we don't yet need. By telling us you are monitoring the situation and not recommending service as yet, it tells me you are honest and trustworthy and not trying to sell service work like other places have done in the past. We have been long time customers of yours with our cars that have long ago been deleted from your computer, and we are happy to always come to you for service knowing you are taking good and honest care of our cars. I had been going to this Purrfect Auto for a couple of years now because of the value of the service. I recently went through my first ""test"" of their long-term customer service. My battery was having problems so I took it in and they told me that I needed to replace my battery. I told them that I had purchased it from this Purrfect Auto less than 1 year ago! The manager (Pat?) looked it up in the computer and confirmed that I did indeed buy it from them. I was afraid that he was going to give me some kind of discount on a new battery or charge me for another installation. Instead, he swapped my battery with a new one and performed the installation free of charge! This wasn't even a top of the line battery either. I bought the cheapest cheapo mccheapskate battery they offered, but they still stood by their product and service. I haven't even received this level of service from the dealer! more

Rip off. Quote a price of $89 then switch it to $145 for a battery replacement. They get you in with a limping or towed car and they raise the price. Argumentative. Not concerned with customer satisfaction. The place was empty. I used to use them all the time and it was always busy. Now the new management has lost me as a customer as well and everyone warned who takes heed. Zero stars! Cons: Bate and switch. Over charge. more

No star for this auto shop. The reason I post the review is because I hope I can prevent you consumer from getting ripped off like I did. They not just way overcharge you, but won't get your car fixed. Check out the reviews on Yahoo Local. I regret that I didn't listen to those reviews. I hope I don't have to go to the bureau to get justice. more
