No hassle appt., on time service, diagnosed the problem with the fridge immediately and had it fixed in minutes. Will certainly use this service again.

Worst

Expensive and misleading. Nice guy stops by, looks at the problem and within minutes tells me it's going to be 160 dollars to fix two sensors and a switch. I say ok then he bangs...

Excellent 7/1/2013

I now have a new, reliable appliance repair service. I had an emergency with my refrigerator/freezer. I made an appt on line for three hours later-I was so happy someone could come out immediately. Within a few minutes of being here, he diagnosed the problem and told us what needed to be done. He explained it in very simple terms and did not over charge. His honesty has earned him a new client and I will recommend him to others!! Thanks Josh. more

Totally Satisfied 6/13/2013

Josh arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked us through a few different scenarios - our refrigerator problem was the worst of all the options – a dead compressor. He said they don't replace the compressor because it would cost $600 - $700 and would extend the life by a couple of years, if we were lucky. We had to purchase a new refrigerator - not what we had planned. We appreciated his honesty and would definitely recommend Pitstop for appliance repair. 2 thumbs up! more

I described the problem via email and they asked me several questions to identify the correct part that needed to be ordered so that I wouldn't have to pay for an initial call just to order a part. Once the part came in, repairman came at the appointed time, was very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He even gave me some advice on replacing the copper hosing on the refrigerator with flexible hosing to prevent a leak. It was convenient and reasonably priced. more

The technician, Josh, arrived within the two hour window and was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and polite. He didn't rush even though the appliance problem turned out to be pretty minor. He spent time telling me about my machine (we just moved into this house) and I felt that he really knew what he was talking about. I would definitely use Pitstop again and hope that all the technicians are as good as Josh. more

Quick Fridge Repair in Bridgewater NJ 2/25/2013

More than anything, Pitstop has a great attitude toward their work. Did not treat the job like it was inconvenient and not worth his time. He took a moment to explain the basic guts of the refrigerator, why we were having our issue, and what we could do on our own to keep unrelated issues from occurring. He was not in a rush, but he took care of the problem in less than a half hour. Happy to call on them again (but not too soon, lets hope!). more

    We will send a technician to your house who will look at your appliance and tell you his diagnosis of what is wrong.

    He will then tell you what the cost of the repair would be (parts + labor charge) if you choose to fix it.

    All of our appointments are scheduled in a 2 hour window time frame.

    Can't leave work? We offer evening (M-F 5pm-7pm) and Sat & Sun (9am-noon).
    To our knowledge, we are the only company to offer such options.
