Quality work at a price 8/31/2018

I'm a repeat customer. I have had my home re-piped and had a sump pump installed and was very satisfied with that experience. Great plumbers that are informative, helpful, friendly and neat in their work. But my recent experience of re- fitting three outside spigot and overhauls of two inside faucets cost $1100! Like I said that these are good plumbers, but pricey. more

Professional job but unsatisfied with quality & price 8/24/2018

Work was to connect gas supply to a new dryer. Pros: Professional, knowledgeable technician who got the job done. Having a professional do the job gave me piece of mind. Con: 1) Technician connected the line but it was done in such a way that the dryer doesn't fit as far back as it could making it difficult to close the closet door. If he had added an elbow to the assembly this probably wouldn't be the case. Although the work was completed correctly, I'm disappointed with the quality of this workmanship especially for what I paid (read next Con). 2) Charge to connect the dryer was $421 which is outrageous. Price included a new flex line and shutoff valve, but these are hardly seem like costly items and the labor for a job like this is modest. I felt price-gouged. I recognize that I had a choice to proceed with the work, but I needed the work done. more

Prompt service 8/24/2018

In need of clearing a clogged sink drain, I called PLP and was able to book an appointment at a date and time that worked best for me. The plumber profile was provided in advance and I also received a call in advance notifying me of his ETA. Diego assessed the problem and provided the issues that he may encounter and options he felt applied. I appreciate his depth of knowledge and the quick resolution that resulted. more

Above and beyond 8/23/2018

I was surprised, VERY pleasantly, how this was handled by the gentleman who came to address my problem. In a world where we are over charged, or charged a lot, for someone to just show up (and I shopped around) Troy not only didn't do that but he also went WAY out of his way (literally) to solve my problem and didn't charge me any extra for the extra effort, didn't even insist that I use him and Levi after he informed me what I needed to do...of course I did call him back and he did a fine and efficient job at fixing the problem. I am about to call them about another problem, after one experience I am a very satisfied customer... more

Simply the best 8/8/2018

I've had Peter Levi Plumbing out several times for both plumbing and heating service at my home. They replaced a gas furnace on one trip, rebuilt a leaking toilet tank on another, and on their most recent visit installed a hose bib on the third floor deck, having to run a copper line 3 stories up from the main. As the owner of a large property management company, I deal with plumbing vendors all the time. In my 38 years of dealing with plumbing, heating and cooling contractors, they are without a doubt the best I've ever worked with. Not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for, and their charges are transparent. Now, if they would just stop airing those dumb TV commercials!!! more

plumbing work was finished on time, but coordinate with subcontractor is very poor. My impression was 2 or 3 days after finishing the plumbing job, the subcontractor will automatic patch the holes without me calling your office all the time. it's been 2 weeks now , the holes are still there on the driving way, Hopefully the subcontractor will come on Friday (Aug, 20) according to your office manager. more
