I can not believe all the whiners posting about how bad the service is, how badly they were treated, how it's a sub par facility, blah, blah, blah. You people really need to check...

We have been members for a long time and the food in the upstairs cafe has always been bad. They recently added breakfast so we thought we would give it another try. The swimming...

PRO Sports Club is my home away from home. Their entire facility is spectacular and the spa reminds me of the Bellagio. Being a huge sports fan, the coolest thing to me is that they have the former Sonics basketball court. I haven't gotten into squash yet (my dad plays it religiously), however, the tennis courts are top notch.\r \r They offer a ton of services, many of which I don't use frequently, but are nice to have when you do need them. I can't say anything personally about their 20/20 program but I have heard good things about it from other members.\r \r Family fun nights are crazy! And I mean crazy fun... I've never seen so many kids having a wonderful time all together than family fun night at the PRO Club. I'm always a little jealous I never had that growing up.\r \r To wrap it up, I highly recommend PRO Sports Club to anyone who enjoys a nice, safe place to exercise, relax and take the kids. With so much to offer, you can't go wrong. more

Were it not for an empassioned email from Dr. Mark urging me to support Pro Club that I received today, I wouldn't be writing this negative review.\r \r That email represents the first thing wrong with Pro Sports Club. It doesn't respect the wishes of its former clients. After I cancelled my membership, I requested numerous times to be removed from the club's general and 20/20 Alumni newsletters. I still receive emails that are automatically deleted.\r \r Next the club. If it weren't for my company's benefits, I would never had joined. It's pretty and expansive. Too bad a lot of the staff were just snotty and rude. Excuse me you're the one handing me the towel and you're acting like you are better than me. Really? Whatever. The fact that you have to pay for some classes like TRX on top of what the club is already getting paid is ridiculous. And the tennis fees are insane.\r \r And finally the 20/20 program. The general attitude that I got from the four dietitians I had was ""Success is because of the program, but any set backs are the individual's fault."" None of the dietitians were willing to spend the time to work out meal plans with me. The only good thing of the program was the trainer, but without a solid basis in the dietary aspects too bad. Not only did I gain back what I lost on the 20/20 program, I gained more.\r \r I'm happy to say that I have lost all that weight on Weight Watchers Online. It's a lot more reasonably priced than 20/20 and more realistic and sustainable. more

I have been going to the ProClub for almost a year. I started when I began the 20/20 lifestyles program -so I am there pretty much every day. Let me start off by saying WOW I love this place. From the moment I walk in Roxanne at the front desk says good morning to me -and my 2&5 year olds by name. My hands are typically full of backpacks, lunch boxes, diaper bags and workout bag so she doesn't even make me hunt for my key fob..Roxanne goes the extra mile of checking me in as I come in. \r CHILDCARE-DISCOVERY BAY\r Then, there is childcare -Discovery Bay. Both my kids are greeted by name and everyone is smiling. This is a feat considering they work long hours and have a ton of kids going through there each day. This momma can sometimes be scatter brained -when I forget to take care of my RSVP's Maria & Eilleen always help out. Like I said, we spend a lot of time there and it is nice to see them every morning. When I bring the kiddos back to their rooms they are always greeted warmly. Linda & Teresa know Maggie so well..she goes right to them. They have watched her grow up a lot and hit tons of milestones as she goes from 1-2. Maggie will miss them when she moves to the 2 yo room but she will be well taken care of in that room too! My son loves his buds in the 5 yo room! Vanessa and Trevor are always great with him and he loves to see them. The time my kids spent in Discovery Bay is not just wasted 'child care' only. They have music class, circle time and art projects. My son takes swim lessons each week and they make sure he is all set by bringing him to and from the lesson.\r THE GYM\r I was first intimidated by the size of the ProClub but as time went on I got into a routine and got used to it. The trainers are amazing. My first trainer, Shaun Neil helped me melt 60 lbs off my body and made me feel confident and strong. He is amazing. When he left for Ranger School my second trainer James Louthon stepped in. Again, amazing trainer. He knows his stuff and is always working to improve his knowledge. For example..he just finished his kettle bell certification. Even now that we aren't working together he checks in on me to say hi and hear about how my training plans are going. \r \r 20/20 LIFESTYLES\r This is an amazing program that changed my family's life. Yes it is expensive..but so is eating out 8 times a week and healthcare for metabolic disorders. Just saying. Fox at the front desk is always happy to help. Juliana makes me laugh -a great attribute considering she is the person who draws blood for the pre and post program testing. My nutritionist Julie Tredway..well she was the other half of the team that gave me what I need to lose all the weight. \r \r I always feel welcome at the ProClub -from walking in, to the locker room attendants, to the trainers. If you are looking for great classes..you have to check out Janelle's TRX and spin classes..she is amazing, friendly, approachable and incredibly talented. The circuit training class is almost as good as having a personal trainer!\r So, as you can tell I'm a fan. There is so much to love. If you do run into a problem..don't whine-reach out to the club. They will work to fix it. That is a sign of true customer service! more

Excellent Club! 5/29/2011

I can not believe all the whiners posting about how bad the service is, how badly they were treated, how it's a sub par facility, blah, blah, blah. You people really need to check yourselves! You sound like a bunch of spoiled rotten primadonnas. This is one of the most beautiful health clubs I've ever seen and if you're fortunate enough to have the ability to be a member, work out there or set foot in the entry way, you have a lot to be grateful for. I've been a member for over 10 years and have never had an issue with service, being treated poorly or anything close to it. This facility is operated close to perfection. Anyone bitching about this facility should take an inventory of their lives and recognize how good they have it. If you feel you're so special you need to be treated like royalty and you can't accept that mistakes happen sometimes, then your problem is with yourself, not the club. more

Incredible Facility with Tennis 1/16/2011

I've lived all over and this is one of the best fitness clubs I have belonged to. Very pricey though. \r I tried a new one in downtown Bellevue when my office moved but ended up coming back to this one because it just had more options and was a better all-round facility. It's also important to note that most places in Washington don't have tennis courts but this one does. more

Tennis At The PRO Sports Club Rocks 10/29/2010

I love playing tennis at the PRO Sports Club. My friend who is a member, has taken me a few times. The facilities are clean; in fact, the entire club is gorgeous. I always walk by the basketball courts, the fitness room and the yoga studio on my way to the tennis courts. If I lived in Bellevue, I would definitely join. more

Clean, but expensive... 10/22/2010

OK. I try to stay away from fitness clubs as much as possible, but a friend took me here and I gotta say that they take their sanitation seriously. I see people swabbing places down with sanitizers and bleach. So I'm pretty impressed with that... Otherwise it's kind of crowded... especially the pool and as I said... pricey. But if you're a clean freak, this is the best place I've ever seen. more

Best Weight Loss Program in Seattle 7/7/2010

Seattle's best service at any club/spa, and the only one led by doctors. Nutritionists, physical therapists, personal trainers, gourmet nutritious food to go, protein shakes made to order, a great place to purchase gym apparel and spa are all rolled into one here. Seriously, if you can't lose weight here, well, you WILL lose weight here. :) Pros: personal trainers learn from physical therapists Cons: $$ more

There should be negative stars for customer service 6/30/2010

Man are these people full of themselves. You would think that giving them your hard earned money (especially since you give a lot of it!) would ensure some nice treatment.\r NOT THIS CLUB BUDDY!\r The staff here are super condescending, with their fake smiles and rude tones.\r The instructors are nice but in general unhelpful unless you get private sessions with them.\r \r Yes there are many classes, but you have to pay for most of them! Am I not paying enough for my gym membership already??! Do you really need to gyp me some more?\r Ofcourse what you will get is a lot of equipment and a really fancy intimidating place. All in all its a nicely done up, pretty place with very very little warmth. Pros: the marble floors and lots n lots of gym equipment Cons: almost all classes are paid, the staff is RUDE more

Best personal training! 11/27/2009

I was very intimidated at first to go to the proclub. As soon as I began my training regime, I immediately felt very comfortable. Soon after, the staff began to know me and call me by my first name I can see myself coming to this gym for years to come. Pros: Helped me lose weight and get in shape Cons: expensive (but worth it!) more

Great Food, Great Club for your entire family 9/14/2009

We were looking for a place for our (2) boys to get excercise , join sports training programs to help them advance their skills in sports. My Husband and I were terribly out of shape and needed a diet exercise program. We joined the Pro Sports club after looking into about (5) clubs in the area. This club has everything if you want to make changes and keep your entire family healthy. The programs ,staff and food are all available for you to be the best you can be. Not to mention that they have a wonderful Spa , Florist and Auto Salon. The Staff is great . You do spend money but it is so very worht every penny. Our entire family lost 345 pounds and we are very heathy now because of what the Pro Club has to offer and how we accessed the club to help us get healthy. We LOVE this club! Pros: Great Healthy food, Great Trainers, Fun for kids ! Cons: more locations in Bellevue area more

Pro club Auto: Almost stole my money 3/29/2009

I recently had my car serviced at Pro club Auto and had a really bad experience.\r \r 1.) The service was too too expensuve, I thought the work done would be superior since they charge so much, but no not at all. (Get you car serviced at a local road side shop and save some $$ instead.)\r \r 2. They rang the charge twice on my credit card. few weeks later I was accidentally going through my credit statements and realised this. I immediatley called pro club auto manager instead of apologing they asked to Fax my credit card stmt etc. When I went through all that they finally credited the amount back .... if I dint happen to see my stmts they would have stollen a whopping 150 bucks from my pocked ..idiots :(\r \r 3. While cleaning looks like they tinkered with my car system/ made my battery died etc but bottom line my car system stoppen working, I had to call the car dealer and get my audio system code and unlock it (I lost my system security ode .. but hey I would like to use it for real thefts not for car services). worst thing the mighty mechanics there dont know anything about this --what a shame for the dollars they are asking.\r \r After reading the review if you still decide to go pls pls be careful and make sure you cjeck your credit card statments. Cons: Very Expensive, careless more

ummm... not so much 3/9/2009

I work for Microsoft and I have heard some of my co-workers talk about the pro sports club here at work. I gave the club a try, but it really is not for people like me. I think it is too expensive, too uninviting, and too expensive... Did I mention that it is too expensive? While I was told that since I work for Microsoft I would receive a discount, I was wondering when they were going to knock some $$ off the final total price. The bottom line - I was not impressed with this club enough to pay what they were asking. I was also not impressed by the amount of pressure put on by their sales staff. more

Food in Cafe is bad and expensive. 3/1/2009

We have been members for a long time and the food in the upstairs cafe has always been bad. They recently added breakfast so we thought we would give it another try. The swimming pools are packed on weekends so you would think you would have to rush to get a table. But it's never busy as nobody heads up there afterwards and I know why. The burger was not cooked in the middle eventhough we ordered medium. The pancakes had bits of burnt on it like the grill had not been cleaned. The eggs were like rubber and the toast arrived long after the rest of the breakfast. We had to ask for silverware for the kids and their chicken strips were dry and hard. So we were dissappointed again. Pros: Great childcare, work out facilities and free towels. Cons: Pay extra for classes, no shallow pool for young kids. more

Overrated 2/24/2009

I tried to work out at this gym on a membership offered through my company. I had tried out some of the other clubs in the area, Redmond Athletic Club, Zen Rock, Bally, etc... The look and feel of the club were good, the staff was good, the food I had was good, but if I had to rate this club based on value I don't think you really truly get what you pay for. more

Outrageous Prices 2/21/2009

Does this club realize we are in a recession? I took my son, a high school student and athlete at Bellevue High, to view the Pro Sports Club as a possible workout facility. I was AMAZED when I found out how much it would cost for a membership for our family. Now, I must compliment the beautiful marble floors and pillars when you first walk in, but do I want to pay that much for a Gym? HECK NO! I would suggest lowering the prices a little because that is outrageous! I would also like to add that when I showed up for my appointment, the front desk made me wait while they talked on the phone for about 5 minutes. I couldn't tell, but it sounded like a personal phone call to me. Just a word of caution to those looking for a nice gym in bellevue. more

If Disneyland made a health club...THIS would be IT! (minus the long lines!) 2/20/2009

PRO is a magical place of health, wellness and mind-body rejuvenation! --- I personally recommend the 20/20 smoothies as well as the following, to name just a few: Zumba, Kick boxing, Total Body Makeover as well as FX Fusion and Boot Camp at the Performance Center. --- In the Spa (newly remodeled and gorgeous) I recommend: microcurrent toning facials (Laura, Andrea, Gina, Monique), the signature facial for total relaxation, and shiatsu treatment massage (amazing!) for a total healing experience. --- In the Salon I recommend: Mandy (phenomenal color and cut expert), Bryan (best blow-outs), Adriel (short styles & blond guru), Jamee (any upstyle you can find in a magazine and she'll do it better!), Chelsea (exceptional men's cuts) and Kelly (hair extension PRO). --- Additionally, My kids love the fitness camps held on days when there's no school (Hooray!) and during the summer. Discovery Bay's staff are always friendly, caring and helpful - Shawn, Loren and team are Awesome! --- Oh, bring your girlfriends for a pedicure and Spa High Tea experience, sooo fun! The staff will decorate your table with flowers, balloons and chocolate, all complimentary! --- A world class experience and all in our own backyard! Who knew?! :) Pros: 200 classes, Equipment, Drycleaning, Floral Shop, Dining Room, Bar, Spa and Salon, FREE Garage Parking Cons: Women's Fitness, Spa & Salon full on the weekends and after work hours, 30 min massage is too expensive - go for the 90, 20/20 program is tough to get in more

Terrible Service 2/20/2009

On a recent visit with my fiance to the spa I encountered poor treatment and service. The staff were not knowledgable or trained well. The appearence of the spa was deplorable. I don't understand how such a nice place could be run into the ground by a team of unqualified individuals. Furthermore, I suggest that you do a little research before making arrangements here. more

This isn't the place for me 2/19/2009

Now, I?m not sure what your personal style or taste is, but the Pro Sports Club is not for me. I don?t need a gym that has 100 tennis courts, and even more treadmills. I don?t need a gym that tells me which hours I am allowed to work out. I especially don?t need a gym that has a day spa, food court, and a facility named ?cardio theatre?. Who wants to work out with the lights off while watching a movie. First of all, if you can understand a movie while you?re working out, then you are not working out hard enough. Second of all, if you can talk on your cell phone, then you are not working out hard enough. Lastly, if you pay $10,000 for a gym membership, then you are probably not there to work out ? it is just a status symbol. Pros: Looks nice, but looks aren't everything Cons: Expensive, fake more

Not at all what I expected 2/19/2009

The pictures online make the facility look very inviting. I thought the spa at the pro sports club looked amazing. I am actually quite pleased with the appearance, but the employees seem to be the problem. After checking in to a rude greeting I thought to myself, are these people even happy here? Their pretentious attitude completely turned me off. more
