Thank you oradell and thank you Dr. Hudak.. I was there last Monday with my best friend, love, company and sweet heart Gina, she is resting now and I know Dr. That You Were there ...

First, their facility is world-class. Since they moved from their old location in Oradell on Kinderkamack, it rivals a very technology forward human hospital. Enormous staff, and ...

Doctors here are very attentive, and very caring. My dog of 12 years passed away at this hospital (R.I.P) and the staff was very supportive and understanding through the entire process. If you love your pet, bring them to this hospital. I can't stress that enough. more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's a beautiful facility and the staff is just the nicest I've ever had contact with (this is including human hospitals). We had to bring our cat in one night to eventually get put down, and the doctor was just the kindest, most understanding woman in the world. She let us take as much time as we needed, laid out all our options, and was truly kind when we decided the most humane thing to do was put him down. This was a very difficult time for me and my family, and having such lovely staff around made it infinitely easier. If you have an emergency, GO! You won't regret it. more

Every visit is a pleasant experience. Staff & doctors are amazing. They are filled with compassion & patience. My puppy had surgery (spay & dental work) & everyone I encountered was nice & professional. They even gave a cute picture of her there on the discharge paperwork. A big thank you to them for taking such good care of my puppy. more

I have had a few recent occassions to utilize both the emergency facility for pets as well as the standard animal hospital and have to say that I could not be more impressed. I wish that Human emergency rooms were as fast and as efficent as this facility is. The service for my pets was way above par and fast. In addition the follow up from the facility relative to how my animals are doing was fantastic. more

We have nothing but great things to say about Oradell. Dr. Dennis Bailey and Dr. Deborah Hall saved our beloved Golden - Angelika - on two occasions. We always go to Dr. Buchholz at Maywood for routine care, but he referred us to Dr. Bailey when he discovered a large mass in Angie's chest last November. We saw Dr. Bailey during the aftermath of Sandy last November and he was so wonderful. Dr. Fettig performed the difficult surgery and Dr. Bailey oversaw the care that nursed her back to health. She developed kidney failure and Dr. Hall and Dr. Eirmann got her through that and to a place where we have been able to manage her kidney failure for almost a year. Throughout, Dr. Bailey, Dr. Hall, Dr. Eirmann and Dr. Buchholz have worked as a team to get her healthy. We are so grateful for their help. more

Very professional, clean, and welcoming facility. This hospital saved my 2.5 month old puppy's life. You are paying for top notch care for a family member! The cost of my pet's life was worth what we spent for treatment! more

Dr Bucciarelli is simply the best. She is compassionate, empathetic, thorough, patient, kind, and best of all, reachable (she quickly answered the phone EVERY TIME I called, repeatedly, early and late in the day). This is very, very hard to find in vets. The other staff I've dealt with have also been professional, patient, courteous and efficient. more

My male cat had major dental issues, and needed many tooth extractions done (10 teeth needed to come out). Dr Desanto and the staff at oradell were wonderful!! He took his time in explaining my cats situation, and made me feel that he truly cared. Was my cats procedure expensive? Yup, but in my opinion you can't put a price on your pets health and safety. I was given updates thru out the day on how the surgery went and once he was out of recovery. Upon arrival to pick my kitty up once again Dr Desanto went over everything they did. I was given x-rays, color photos, and a detailed explanation of what I would need to do once we were home. Today is the first 24hrs after and My cat is doing great!!! You wouldn't know he had such major oral surgery if it weren't for the iv mark and where they shaved him. I'm sure the pain meds play a part, but my cat seems relaxed and so much better!!!Thank you so much oradell animal hospital for taking such great care of my boy!!! more

Oradell is perhaps the most professional animal hospital I have ever been to. The staff and facility really are amazng and they cater to you and your pet. I love that they are open 24 hours in case of emergencies. The only con I can think of is that it is on the pricey side. more

I would not take my pets anywhere else. They have been treating my pets for over fifteen years. Yes they are pricey but they sure know what they are doing. They are caring and compassionate. Their emergency area is open 24 hours. They are the best animal hospital in northern New Jersey which also specialize in different specialties for your pet. more

I have had wonderful experiences with Oradell Animal Hospital. The staff members are friendly and greet my dog by name. I've seen many of the doctors there for various problems, and all have been helpful, efficient, and caring. Dr. Crawford in Internal Medicine is top-notch and has gone the extra mile, investigating recent studies to come up with the right medicine combination for my dog's rhinitis. more

This is a great animal clinic. Highly recommended. They are open late, give you excellent advice and feedback and have you in and out quickly. The location is good. The prices are excellent and they do not try to sell you stuff you don't need, including pricey shots and appointments that your animals really don't need. more

Surgery/critical care; Excellent! Frontdesk triage; Horrible! Neuro; hmm 5/7/2014

As with any medical professional, you must always be your own best advocate, that goes for vets too. Six months ago my top winning show/agility dog ruptured a disc and immediately was paralyzed from the neck down. He was rushed to Oradell. The front desk failed miserably to listen to me that the situation was critical and grave, and that he needed to see a veterinarian and get the MRI immediately (ruptured discs cause spinal cord compression, time is critical in this injury). The very cold triage nurse stuck me in a room and made us wait for 40 minutes while my boy was becoing totally paralyzed. Soon I had to begin SCREAMING at the top of my lungs for a vet to come see my dog immediately that this was not acceptable and that they would pay dearly!! My voice rang through the halls and scared the Sh*t out of everyone and I didn't care. So the vet finally came in response and once she saw him, agreed that he immediately needed an MRI and the MRI confirmed a ruptured disc. Emergen more

Oradell Put my Dog to Sleep Maybe Unnessarily 1/11/2014

THEY MAY HAVE PUT MY DACHSHUND TO SLEEP UNNECESSARILY.\r Three weeks ago my dog got sick and I took her to the oradell animal hospital. The vet Dr. BUCHLAN examined her and diagnosed a herniated disk. She did not even do test for lime disease which the dachshund rescue says was a possibility. I received a scribble note recommending strict rest and was told to call if her condition changed. She got worse two days later and I called for help and found out Buchlan was on vacation and they don't call the gets at home. I got a call later that day ht Dr. DISANTO who told me don't worry it was just an aggrivated vertebra and leave her in the kennel to rest. Earlier I had spoken to my chiropractor who gave specific instructions on bed rest in the kennel. Next day Sunday she was the same having trouble walking. Called first thing\r Monday and Disanto toldnme to bring her in at 3. By the time he saw her he diagnosed her with a ruptured disk. At no time did they do dray or MRI. He suggested the 500 more

  • Established in 1961 by Drs. Gary Johnson and Anthony Palminteri, Oradell Animal Hospital has grown into one of the largest technologically advanced, state-of-the-art veterinary facilities in the world. As we continue to grow our mission remains to provide the highest quality, comprehensive, and compassionate medical care to pets while supporting our clients with sensitivity and understanding; and to serve as a multifaceted resource for the veterinary profession. Our award winning hospital encompasses a team of veterinarians, technicians, client service representatives, office personnel and other support staff all providing a level of competence and professionalism which makes us an institution of which we are all proud. The hospital is open and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year offering emergency services at all times combined with medically advanced diagnostics and treatment. In addition, our team of board certified specialists are available to accept referrals of diagnostically challenging cases from your family veterinarian. Oradell Animal Hospital has two satellite locations located in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and Fort Lee, New Jersey that are staffed by the hospital's doctors. Both offices share on-line computerized patient records with the main hospital. Whether you are dealing with an emergency situation or your pet is being referred, the Oradell Animal Hospital stands ready to care for both your pet and your family. Oradell Animal Hospital is proud to be an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Our accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. Since 1963, we have regularly undergone inspections by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association's high quality standards of care. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital. Approximately 17 percent of animal hospitals in the United States are accredited by AAHA. Our general medicine veterinarians are highly skilled and trained to take special care of your pet from birth through their senior years. We perform all levels of service such as preventive medicine, diagnosis of disease, medical treatments and emergencies. Your general medicine veterinarian will work as a team with you and our board certified specialists to provide initial and follow up care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some of the more common problems our generalists see include diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, skin conditions, ear infections, urinary tract infections, allergic reactions, eye problems, obstetrical problems, cardiac conditions, infectious diseases such as tracheobronchitis or parvovirus infections and common orthopedic problems such as arthritis, ruptured ligaments, and lamenesses. Your pet's health and well-being is our number one concern. A wellness examination gives us the chance to evaluate your pet's overall health and to detect problems before they turn into serious illnesses. Because most pets age more quickly than you do, it is essential that your pet's be examined at least once a year and as your pets get older, twice yearly. Additional testing may be recommended to diagnose a health problem. As part of the wellness examination a complete physical examination will be performed plus any routine screening tests that may be indicated. The early signs of heart disease can often be recognized during a routine health exam.
