THEY MAY HAVE PUT MY DACHSHUND TO SLEEP UNNECESSARILY.\r Three weeks ago my dog got sick and I took her to the oradell animal hospital. The vet Dr. BUCHLAN examined her and diagnosed a herniated disk. She did not even do test for lime disease which the dachshund rescue says was a possibility. I received a scribble note recommending strict rest and was told to call if her condition changed. She got worse two days later and I called for help and found out Buchlan was on vacation and they don't call the gets at home. I got a call later that day ht Dr. DISANTO who told me don't worry it was just an aggrivated vertebra and leave her in the kennel to rest. Earlier I had spoken to my chiropractor who gave specific instructions on bed rest in the kennel. Next day Sunday she was the same having trouble walking. Called first thing\r Monday and Disanto toldnme to bring her in at 3. By the time he saw her he diagnosed her with a ruptured disk. At no time did they do dray or MRI. He suggested the 500
