Ohio State Waterproofing, the REASON I bought my new house!!! 6/11/2012

Hi, I purchased a new house last October. There had been repair work in the basement to the wall from a broken water line. I could see the repairs were very well done but the home owner had the entire basement waterproofed for future safety. I checked into this and found not only was Ohio Waterproofing a great company, but felt completely at ease buying this house Because of the quality of work and the lifetime guarantee!!! more

Ohio State Waterproofing 6/11/2012

Ohio State Waterproofing did our basement last year. We didn't think we had a problem with water till they took out some of our cement floor and it was so very wet underneath. I am sure they saved us some major structural damage a few years down the road, Thanks Ohio State Waterproofing. I know my basement is going to be clean and dry from now on. more

The Ohio State Waterproofing guys all were good guys. They left the work area clean and neat after the job was done. Will ,the foreman , took time to answer my questions throughout the day and left each night asking if I had any other questions. The men were very polite and worked as quietly as possible with a jackhammer and drill. I can't wait to have some good heavy rain and a very dry basement that I can finally finish for extra space! Stone foundation waterproofing. 5/30/2012

Overall, I think that a good job was done. My only complaint would be that what was sold to me as the multistep system was not exactly performed as the sales brochure stated and depicted. I did have to point out to the service technicians about properly filling cracks prior to installing the plastic lining on the interior. Which also makes it very hard to see how the foundation will hold up. The workers were polite and courteous and did a good job of cleaning up once the job was complete. I am just waiting to see how well the quality of my basement will improve. more

Piece of Mind 5/25/2012

We purchased our home 14 years ago and we were able to transfer the warranty from Ohio State Waterproofing from the previous owners. We have had no problems with our basement in that time. It gives us such piece of mind to know that we can call OSW at any time if we do experience any issues. more

Ohio State Waterproofing 5/24/2012

We had just bought our house in 1993 and that winter the first snow-melt became a river in our basement! We called Ohio State Waterproofing to our rescue and our house is now dry. We are completely satisfied with the results. The crew that did the work did a great job digging, and working inside and outside, and even washed the floor before they left! Now 18 years later, we have had no more problems and have highly recommended this company to our friends. It is worth every penny as is the lifetime warranty. Thank you Ohio State Waterproofing for the peace of mind that comes with a dry basement. more

Outstanding Warrenty 5/22/2012

Steve and Sue S. Olmsted Falls, OH Ohio State Waterproofing did our basement over 25 years ago. They have replaced two sump pumps and come out on two occassions to take care of a couple problems we had with leakage. There were not questions asked and they did the all jobs completely and professionally. As long as we pay our minimal yearly warrenty fee they will be there to take care of any problems. The great thing is when we sell the house the warrenty is transferable as long as the owner pays the warrenty fee each year. I would recommend Ohio State Waterproofing ANYTIME! They have been great. more

Dry Basement 5/21/2012

Overall, we had a very good experience. The employees were helpful, friendly, and generally professional. (The only thing I found slightly unprofessional was men smoking. But they were working outside, so it wasn't a big deal.) The workers arrived on time or early each day and were sensitive to my four small children. They seem to have been very thorough. I had to have someone come back to put my utility sink back together. He was also prompt and helpful. DG from Brimfield. more

Ohio State Waterproofing Saves the Basement 5/18/2012

After a disappointing experience with our builder and subcontractors, Ohio State came in to save our basement. After their initial work was complete they came back in short turnaround to address additional concerns of our at no additional cost. Everyone on their team has been courteous and professional throughout this whole experience understanding the difficult situation that our builder left us in. My Happy Home 5/16/2012

To have a waterproofing of your basement is a real challenge to your household. We had to send my wife out of the house for 3 days because they had to jackhammer the floor & the dust would be too much for her to cope with. We moved everything 3 feet away from the foundation so they would have room to work. They covered everything with plastic & they had a vacuum on their jackhammer so the dust was not a problem. Those men were very professional they put plastic on the steps & where ever they had to go & when they were thru they removed all of the plastic & cleaned the floor & steps.They had to remove concrete & dirt in buckets & brought down concrete to install a new floor where they jackhammered the floor. It such a pleasure to see the finished product they were very experienced in the work they did. I'm so happy to have had them do my waterproofing at my home. AM EUCLID more

The waterproofing service agreement transferred seamlessly when we purchased our house from the previous homeowners. Fortunately, we have not experienced any issues with our basement. The renewal process was very easy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The communication is timely and professional. This company gives us peace of mind. I would definitely recommend. more

Basement/Foundation Waterproofing 5/10/2012

I live is Canfield, Oh. My name is TravisF, and I recently has my basement/foundation waterproofed Ohio State Waterproofing. My experience was greater than expected. I didn't have to wait as long for the job to start as expected. The crew was very friendly and thoughtful throughout the entire job. The mess both inside and outside was not nearly as bad as I had expected. The crew even volunteered to remove a tree that was in their way for me! They even dug it up so I could re-plant it elsewhere instead of just chopping it down. I would recommend Ohio State Waterproofing to anyone. more

Waterproofing my Mom's home 5/5/2012

I was impressed with how they left my property as clean as they did. While you could notice the extra dirt around the foundation, it was minimal considering what was actually done. The inside was clean when they left. The foreman was pleasant and more that willing to explain what was going on and was responsive to my requests. Now all we need is a heavy rain to test the system. I do have confidence that it will work as advertised. more

It has been several years since I have had my basement waterproofed. The staff was very hard working and very courteous. One young man dug the entire back outside wall out himself. It was wet clay and very heavy. I asked him to take a break and he said."No sir this is my job and I love it'. That told me a lot. I have a small leak now. It has been many years sence my basement was waterproffed. The work has been long lasting and very well done. I had a great crew that was very hard working and courtious. One young man dug out the entire back wall of my house by himself. It was wet clay and very heavy. I asked him to take a break before he killed himself and he said. No sir this is my job and I love it. That said it all to me. I just called them to correct a small problem with a slight leak. They called back immedialty and made an appointment in less than a week. Ohio State Waterproofing 5/1/2012

I have had two homes with damp stinky basements - OSW made both of them dry and odor free! The cost was well worth it. Sales told me exactly what would be done and the workers did exactly what I was told. I've had a couple of occasions over the last 20 years where I needed service (sump pump failure) and the service team came out and fixed the problem within hours. If I buy another house, I will definitely call OSW - if needed, and I recommend OSW to any home owner that needs to fix their damp, stinky basement. more
