Best

Yes, their customer service is in India and just terrible. For a month, we were given the same runaround over the phone as anybody else. But we were lucky enough to live a driva...

Worst

I agree with all previous comments made about Nissans customer service in India. I dont blame them as they are outsourced, contracted company told little about the company they do...

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/19/2014

I would never do business with them again, nor would buy Nissan. I feel that they hiring only people with IQ below ZERO. Customer service calls rerouted to Philippines. It would be ok, if they can at least speak English. Zero problem resolution. Never call back. Nothing done. Nothing setup right. I would recommend to anybody just to go to different company and buy different brand of car more

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/2/2013

Worst customer service ever. They posted 3 of my payments to the wrong account and then threatened to repossess my Rogue. My payments are made automatically every month from my bank account and have been handled the same way for 3 years. Then they reported 3 late payments to the Credit Bureau which significantly affected my credit score. Now when I try to call to get it cleared up, I get transferred several times and wait 15 minutes and then get disconnected. I won't be using NMAC in the future. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/12/2012

I have owned three Nissan's in a row, an Exterra, Maxima and Rogue and I have always been happy with the vehicles. So, it is pretty pathetic that they are losing a loyal customer over using this hack of a finance company. I mean, get with it, it is 2012....$5.00 to pay your bill online or over the phone??? The website is horribly antiquated and so not user friendly. I pay every single bill I have on time, but this one...and when they ask me why, because they stalk you the minute you are late...I say the same thing...because you make it so hard to pay the bill! I bought a BMW as a second car about a year ago, it has been such a pleasure working with them and thier billing systems are so easy and modern I cannot see ever going back to Nissan.... more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/2/2012

BUYER BEWARE! I am so extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company who refuses to help their customers in order to make some extra money in their pocket. They have UNETHICAL billing practices. I not only leased TWO vehicles from them but have only been a customer for less than 2 months and REGRET ever going into business with them. I have been on the phone with so many of their reps and supervisors, people feeding me different b.s. and after more time, stress and headache, never getting to an actual solution, but rather the way they would have it...money for them and an unhappy customer. This company is known for their terrible billing practices. Even the mass turnpike knew I had a Nissan without me giving ANY personal account information because ""this is what Nissan does."" That's a good reputation youve built for yourself Nissan. I hope I can help the next potential buyer so that when they read this, they go get a Honda instead. Trust me, you will regret getting into business with this company. I am seriously looking into getting a lawyer about this because this is JUST WRONG. I made it soooo easy for them to resolve the issue, but they keep coming back with ridiculous reasons for why they cannot do that. if I was with another dealer, this would not even be an issue i would have to be resolving. more

Absolutely the WORST customer service I 6/7/2012

Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever received! I have been working with them on an issue with my title for a vehicle I purchased over 2 years ago. I have been told that they never received the info from the dealer to clear my title issue but the dealer says they have faxed the required info on three different occasions to Nissan Motor Acceptance. Today, one of their customer service reps tells me that there is no way for them to know the status because the group that handles that is different and that they don't have phone access. I questioned how a critical group that deals with titles doesn't have phone access and the rep rudely stated ""there is nothing we can do - you will have to call back and check tomorrow or next week"". I called back and got their supervisor's name - an Irma Casada at 214-596-4953 and left her a message. I hope the supervisor understands the purpose of their roles - to serve customers! Unreal! I will do everything I can to NEVER buy from Nissan ever again. more

LOUSY Customer service 5/14/2012

I called customer service today because I have lost the title to my nissan. This would normally be easy to fix because I can just request a dupicate title from my state. BUT, when I tried to do this, I was told I couldn't because NISSAN had never provided a lien release. I paid my car off in 2007!! First off, I was on hold for almost 12 minutes. Then I get the grouchiest and rudest lady ever. I explain to her my situation. I actually didn't lose my title, It got mixed into my husbands stuff as he was moving out and he now says he doesn't have it. Anyway, She takes my information, puts me on hold, comes back on to tell me ""I can't help you, you need to do this yourself on line."" When I explain to her again, that I do not have account information because I tossed it all a few years ago. She replies..."" It's not our fault you couldn't keep up with your title."" This is your problem, not ours"" WHAT? This is customer service??? I told her that I wouldn't even NEED to be calling her if her company had done their job and released the lien! There are thousands of unemployed people out there...maybe Nissan needs to hire someone who is greatful to have a job and can treat people with respect. I am seriously having second thoughts about buying the car I was trying to get. I don't think I want to deal with NISSAN. I can take my money to a company who has their business act together. UGH!!! (Now that I tried to release my lien on line...I see I have to pay $19.00 to do it. So now I am paying for their mistake.) GREAT! more

Customer Service lacks Greatly 4/27/2012

I work for a dealership. I sent in the proper paperwork with the payoff but when I called twice for a lien release and disagree on who paid the loan off I am hung up on. Come on Nissan! It would be nice to work with a team of professionals. How hard would it be to take a moment and look it up on the computer? I have never had this happen with any other company. I find it very unprofessional and rude. This is my opinion and does not reflect the views or opinions of the wonderful company I work for. more

The worst customer service and billing practices 12/12/2011

I have been a loyal customer with Nissan for the past 5 years. I have purchased 2 cars with them. It is custom to report to the credit agencies if your payment is recieved 30 days past due. I posted an online payment on 10/29/2011 (which was a saturday). I did not know nor did the website state it would not be credited to my account until the 10/31/2011 (Which was one day past the due date!) Nissan sent a 30 day late flag on my credit report, which cost us to loose our mortgage financing on 12.10.2011 . I have had a A+ credit rating for the last 7 years with no flags or negative information until now. I would of had my payment deferred if I had no intentions of paying my account before the 30 day mark. I find the company uncompassionate and down right cruel when I called the reps. I have purchased a maxima, and an Armada through this company. I would not purchase another Nissan if you paid me to do so. They have just lost another customer! I would not recommend this company to no one. more

Horrible Business Practices! 11/21/2011

When my daughter purchased her NIssan, she lived at home with me. She has since moved out, but because Nissan has my phone number on the original paperwork, they call continuously. Here's the kicker... I've given them my daughter's current address and phone number. She's contacted Nissan to give them her current contact information. During the last several phone calls I've received, I've asked them to check the notes on her file for her contact information which has been given to them repeatedly. Finally, last night the caller apologized and said I would not be receiving any additional phone calls from them. Guess what? At 8:35 this morning they called. more

NISSAN MOTOR ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION 9/28/2011

WARNING ALERT:\r NEVER BUY A NISSAN VECHICLE, PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY HAVE BETTER QUALITY VECHILES BUT THEY REALLY DON'T. I PURCHASED A NEW 2006 NISSAN MAXIMUM HAD MANY ISSUE WITH THIS CAR TOOK IT TO DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES BUT THEY COULD NEVER DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM BUT NOW THAT MY WARRANTY HAS ENDED THEY FIND THE PROBLEM. I KNOW THAT I WAS SOLD A LEMON AND NISSAN DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD. i CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND FOR OVER A MONTH, THEY HAD ME TO WASTE UNNECESSARY MONEY........... SERVICE REALLY SUCKS TAKE MY ADVICE AND STAY CLEAR FROM ANY VECHICLE MADE BY NISSAN.\r \r Nissan Motor service SUCKS. more

DO NOT USE NISSAN MOTOR!!!!!! 9/12/2011

If you ever go into a Nissan dealership and they try to give you a loan from Nissan Motor Acceptance RUN THE OTHER WAY! This business is so corrupt, and SOOO money hungry, they should be shut down. They run their business like the mafia, and will try to intimidate you with men calling over and over and over for their payments, even if you are only a few days behind. I researched the company before accepting the loan, and ALL the reviews were bad. PLEASE PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did, and think it won't happen to you. IT WILL! They repossessed my car ILLEGALLY, after giving me the run around and PROMISING they would take the repossession notice off of my vehicle. Three days later I walk outside and my car is gone! Now I have to pay off the FULL AMOUNT of the loan, which is $8,000 apx. They will not give me the option to reinstate, and pay up to what I owe. So now I have to refinance, and pay ALL the towing fees which will exceed $1,500! They have the worst customer service, all black people who can't speak right, or the 3 southern manager hicks they have managing all the phone calls, who are beyond stressed and don't give a crap if they ruin your life. If you are lucky enough to even get an American rep, because other than the few Americans in their SMALL office out of Texas, they have outsourced all their other calls to foreigners, who can't even speak English and are dumb as rocks. The foreigners don't have credit scores or the ability to even comprehend large amounts of money. So how will they be able to help me with a loan for $10,000? You will NEVER be able to reach their owner, he lives in JAPAN. There is no fighting them, even with a lawyer unless you want to pay millions to track down the owner. PLEASE seriously RUN!!! I have had problems since day one. I will write review after review, just to make sure I can let as many people know NOT TO SIGN ON NISSAN MOTOR ACCEPTANCE CORP dotted line! more

car is good, service is toooo bad 9/12/2011

The car is good, the company is also famous and growing. HOWEVER, their Customer and Payment Services is toooooo bad. Every month I receive the bill by mail and I pay it. However, once every 4 months almost, I don't receive it by mail WHY ?? I don't know I am not able to automate the process through bank because Nissan doesn't have this service. Why ?? more

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM NISSAN MOTORS CORPORATION 8/16/2011

I have a whole books of noteson the harassment this company NISSAN MOTORS COMPANY has put me thru. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer then my 42 yr old brother passed away from a heart attack and then my other little brother died from an infection in his blood he got from the hospital. I have been thru hell my husband left me because of the depression and so I down graded to a more affordable car a versa nissan a payment I could afford. I paid a month of interest up front so the payment could be set up a month a I would then have an extra month fbefore I STARTED A CAR PAYMENT EASY RIGHT. WRONG I HAVE HAD OVER 3 YEARS OF HARASSING CALLS HANG UPS CALLING 8 TIMES IN ONE DAY. I HAVE A CELL PHONE SO ITS ALL VERIFIED. I straightened this out at first six different times and it was fixed then it would pop up again and they would start again saying I had a payment that was never made in the beginning of the loan the dealership at first helped me then they told me to get a lawyer. Thye have me owing over two hundred in late charges and the payment has never ever been late every payment has been paid since the car was bought. They faxed my personal info to my work office with the papers saying I didn;t pay my car payment on time and it had my social security number on it and iot was sent thru a fax with no cover sheet and I never told them they could do that they found the fax number on my work envelope. This is the crookedest most harassing compan y iof you can call it a compan y I would like to know who is running a place like this is it thugs? They have laughed at me when I cried to try to get them to stop the harassment. They have called me for over three years every day except for CHristmas Thanksgiving Fourth of July even Sat and Sun three to six times a days add that up. I will own a fleet of NISSAN CARS after we go to court. They think I will sell the car and they are going to add on this they say I owe. I have asked for paper work anything that could prove I owe this money they will give me nothing and will not even respond to me. What co says you owe them money and cant produce any evidence of that. They have nothing but I have been harassed until I have been mentally pushed over the edge they have harassed me until I cannot function anymore. I have been affected by Nissan so badly that I have panic attacks when my phone rings here comes a call right now every day I cannot stop them security at Sprint where I have my cell phone told me to just keep letting them harass rather than change my phone since I have had the number for 9 yrs and I use it for accts at my job I would have already changed it by now but like I said DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM NISSAN. DO NOT FINANCE A CAR FROM NISSAN. I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT NISSAN. I DON""T WANT TO GIVE A STAR IT WON""T LET ME PUBLISH WITHOUT ONE BUT O STARS FROM ME! more

WORST COMPANY EVER! 8/11/2011

IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR RATING TO THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY I WOULD. THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. THEIR PHONE SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE INEPT AND USELESS. I HAVE TRIED FOR OVER A MONTH TO SET UP BILL PAY AND THEY STILL TELL ME THAT IT HAS NOT GONE THROUGH EVEN THOUGH ONE OF THOSE METHODS WAS IN WRITING THROUGH THE MAIL? I AGREE WITH THE REVIEW BEFORE...THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE AND THEY SCREW UP YOUR CREDIT AND CAUSE MORE STRESS THAN ANY VEHICLE IS WORTH. AVOID THIS COMPANY! more

American Greed 6/20/2011

This company is all about greed. They design thier payment platform to make it hard to pay for the vehicle. There is a service fee for anything basic. They could make paying off your car easier, example, allowing you to pay off your car online with a bank transfer, but they only allow 2000 a month because they want you to spend on interest. Avoid this company at all cost. more

Poor customer service 4/11/2011

Very bad customer service-Due to accident my Altima was totalled. Sent payoff from ins company and didn't hear anything for three weeks. They were holding my 9,000.00 equity which i needed to purchase another vehicle. Finally had ins co. cancel the check and reissue separate payoff check to them with another months interest due to the fact they held the check for over three weeks!!!!!! Will not consider doing business with Nissan again!!!!!! Just got the run around every phone conversation with excuses.. more

VERY BADY COMPANY / WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE 12/6/2010

This company has very deceptive practices. This is my third and last Nissan I will be leasing. I gave this car away on Leasetrader where someone took over the lease. At the end of the lease period, the person that took over the lease extended the contract with his name on it only. Yet it still appeared on my credit report and when I got phonecalls saying my payment was late. I told them my signed contract expired and it was only extended by the person that took over the lease. They said, ""No, I have a copy of the contract here with both of your signatures."" I asked for a copy of the contract and the rep refused and said I wasn't allowed to see it. I'm like ITS MY CONTRACT if you claim my signature is on it, why can't I see it? They still refused but i was able to get a hold of the person that took over the lease and he faxed me the contract. On the contract was just his name and signature. Called back, got a rep from India, which is 99.9% of the case on Nissan customer service. First time, they had no idea what I was talking about or tried to pretend they didnt. Second time I called, they put me on hold and then hung up (B.S.). Third time they said something to the effect of, you are still a co-signer so when he signs for it, he's signing for you too. ILLEGAL imo. more

Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp 5/5/2010

I recently turned in a truck lease after my husband passed away. The dealership led me to believe he was the only one on the lease and took the truck and told me when I got the bill to just fax over the death certificate. I did as they had suggested. To find out I was on the lease and now am expected to pay $8700.00. I had told the dealership I was not sure if I was on the lease and he assured me I was not. I would of kept the truck. Two weeks after my husbands death it is hard to remember what day it is more or less if I signed a lease. I trusted Quality Nissan of Temecula to help me thru this process but instead they have thrown me under the bus. I am left with a hugh bill, no truck, and no help from Nissan. The dealership was so helpful at first until they realized they had not followed procedures now I am left to deal with this mess... Cons: bad customer service more

customer service 4/7/2010

I agree with all previous comments made about Nissans customer service in India. I dont blame them as they are outsourced, contracted company told little about the company they do work for. As they say, you ""get what you pay for"". May be these jobs will return to the USA, until then we all have to suffer and sweat. sad. Im now trying to reach nissan directly to move my issues as I am leaving the country and need to take my cars with me. Pros: able to get through quickly Cons: cant really help and hands tied as they are outsource entit more

Turned out to be a great experience 2/3/2010

Yes, their customer service is in India and just terrible. For a month, we were given the same runaround over the phone as anybody else. But we were lucky enough to live a drivable distance from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp, so we finally went to the Nissan campus. We met with K** L****, who took our final payment and ensured us that we would receive the title within 5 business days. She even called to let us know that it had come in sooner, and we picked it up in less time. We were grateful to work with her. :) It turned out to be a very good experience with NMAC. Pros: Received title within 5 business days (sooner) Cons: Had to hand-deliver final payment more
