For my October 2007 wedding I ordered my gown, my mothers gown, and my entire bridal party's gowns (15 dresses in all) from NY Lace. They were orginally very friendly and helpful. Once the orders were placed it was an entirely new story. First, they called to say my mothers gown had arrived. When we went to the store to see it, we realized they had never ordered the dress and tried to pass off the sample as a brand new gown. It was an $800 dress and the sample clearly showed wear & tear, but they insisted it was a new gown. I was living in Boston and spent my entire Saturday driving back and forth and found another boutique that carried the same dress and it was clear they had never ordered my mother a gown. Second, after we placed the order for my two flower girls' dresses, they called a week later to say it would be an additional $30 charge, per dress, in order for them to arrive on time. When we refused, they called a few days later to say the flower girl dresses would cost an additional $30 each for the ""custom"" color combinations we had chosen. We called around to other stores who both agreed we had more than enough time to order and my color combination was not a ""custom"" order. In the end, we received both dresses, well in advance. Each and every time I had to visit the store, I felt sick to my stomach. They ruined my bridal gown experience and I highly recommend not ordering from this store. The worst part, was the owner seemed so non-chalant about the whole thing. While she verbally apologized, it was hardly any consolation to all the drama I had to suffer through.\r

Pros: Faustina was helpful
Cons: The owner can't be bothered with any problems and/or issues. She is ""not there"" when she is actually sitting next door at the salon.
