I did research on bartending schools in nyc and new york bartending school had the best credentials + reputation. They were extremely helpful and honest. Taught us everything we needed to know and more without any b.s. more

I wanted the best, and this was the name that kept coming up. My teacher was really cool and down to earth. he knew everything that he needed to know to a tee. There wasn't a question that he could not answer and he was always available to speak whether during, prior or after class more

New York Bartending School - great job!!! 9/7/2006

When I visited the website, I was extremely impressed with all the certifications we get with our license. I knew from there on in, that this school was legit not fake!!! I had a great teacher! The fact that he is very blunt & straight forward means alot because he is not ""beating around""! He told us how the ""real world"" bartending experience would be like. He didn't sugar coat it he did a great job! My favorite experience was when it was Wednesday & I could do most if not all drinks already & I had only started on Monday. You can pick up quickly if you pay attention to what your teacher tells you! more

Word of mouth reviews and friendly staff 8/24/2006

I was impressed when I came to visit the fact that we got so much time to practice behind the bar. I've heard that pther schools over-crowd their classes. I liked the pacing of the class and he mixed it up a lot so that we didn't get bored doing the same thing. I thought his anecdotes about the realities of bartending were really useful. more

Kept the class fun and interesting - damn good teacher too made sure we knew our stuff and more. I like how you can come back for a refresher anytime free of charge and I liked the job placement program. more

Taught us everything we needed to know + more. He is very helpful, supportive and patient and funny. Couldn't ask for a better instructor. NYBS is affordable and has a great atmosphere. There were no gimmicks and I was not forced to sign up. I am very glad I chose this school instead of the others that I had visited. It didn't feel like school because I actually wanted to study, favorite class was martinis. more
