everything was great 10/29/2006

I selected this school mainly because it offered the change to learn about the school before signing up and the bar set up. One of the nicest (coolest) people I've met not to mention a great instructor, made this experience a great one. Pros: learning how to bartend, meet great new people, graduation more

Personable and very good 10/29/2006

Seemed to be the most proffesional 10/29/2006

I didn't feel any pressure or hounding from any of the agents. There was no one forcing me into anything like some of the other schools I visited. Learning how to make the drinks was fun and I had a good time talking to the instructors and my classmates. Even the speed drills were fun because it made me feel like it was a real bar. more

New York Bartending Who? 10/29/2006

I graduated a couple of weeks ago and obviously don't have any bartending experience. My instructor told me it would be okay as long as I put down that I graduated from the school. Well that's not right. Over half the places I have been to have pretty much laughed in my face. They don't even know about New York! Even some of the places THEY sent me don't know who they are. I am so embarrassed and the worst part is when I told the job person about it the response I got was "just pound the pavement and you will find something". Pros: Very nice while you are a student Cons: Aren't once you graduate! more

It's the only school I've seen that offers so many diff things. I like the fact that after you graduate you can still count on them for help. Thorough, good sense of humor. more
