Water line repair 2/19/2016

Had Jerry Biondo repair my homes gateway valve, pressure regulator, and supporting copper lines. Jerry was competent, friendly, and paid exceptional attention to the quality of his work. Great job! I would recommend Jerry, and Mike Counsil Plumbing to any home owner. Tank, Jerry. Great job more

Extremely happy! This is our "go to" company for all our plumbing needs. 2/17/2016

We have been prepping our home for a possible sale when we realized over the years, a bit of maintenance had fallen through the cracks. Our main bathroom tub drain no longer had an operative drain lever. We called Mike Counsil Plumbing for an estimate and they scheduled us in for the very next day. They came out right in time for the estimate and we accepted and scheduled a return. The whole exercise was quite pricey...but I have to say we are confident in the quality of the repair and the punctual aspect if the plumbers. We wouldn't consider calling anybody else! more

Great service, on-time, knowledgeable. 2/13/2016

Your technician, Shane Corey, demonstrated that he was knowledgeable of my situation, and had the skills to isolate the problem with safety being of prime concern. Had to order parts to complete the repair. When arrived, he completed the repair in a minimal amount of time and was the consummate professional throughout the entire process. Thanks for the great service. more

Best service and quality period 2/11/2016

If you want the job done quick and you care about quality and workmanship request Victor and Chris. Victor has done work for me a couple of times he is the best plumber I have ever had work at my house. I recommend him for all your plumbing needs. When he works with a junior plumber he always supervises and works along with them ensuring the quality is up to his normal high standards. more

Eric Rich (with Mike Counsil plumbing) recently completed a MAJOR job, 2/8/2016

Eric and most often his assistant, Gabriel, replaced all the cast iron pipes under the house, trenched and laid pipe ending in a French drain on two sides of my house, and finished the job with such detail, I couldn't begin to list them. Eric supervised this massive project with great skill and professionalism. He kept me aware of timing and updates every day. I had peace of mind through the entire project thanks to him and the supportive people at Mike Council Plumbing and Electric. I highly recommend Eric as well as the company. more

Always call Counsil 2/8/2016

We practically have Counsil on speed-dial, they've done so much work at our house over the years, and we've always been very satisfied with their work, all of their technicians are polite, nice, knowledgeable, and thorough, and we are Diamond Customers so we get discount rates. This time the water heater leaked and they sent someone out immediately, and didn't charge more because it was a Sunday night. I'm sure you can find cheaper folks but these guys give me confidence, they stand behind their work and have been in business so long I feel good if there is a problem down the line they will make it right. more

item service pricing template needs to be reviewed again. 2/7/2016

The pricing template book needs to be reviewed, there is a concern about the pricing structure that the service technician is required to quote based on the price binder carried with them. For example, in specific, the emergency service price quote based on the pricing bimder for the washing machine shutoff (cold/hot faucet) is too broad, over priced and unfit for small job. The owner needs to review the binder price template in order to avoid confusion and misunderstanding per market standard rate. more

Overcharged 2/7/2016

When I booked the appointment I was told that the $89 fee for coming out would be waived. I was charged for this anyway. I called to have the fee reversed and was assured that it would be taken care of. So far, there has been no credit to my credit card for this additional fee. more

Who are you gonna call? 2/6/2016

No one calls a plumber because things are going well. Usually you are ankle deep in stuff that you shouldn't be and the situation is urgent, The short story is that I called MC at 6:00 PM after four other companies told me that the earliest they could get to my problem was 10:00 the following morning. That was clearly unacceptable when sewage is backing up into your shower. MC plumbers arrived at 7:15 PM, well equipped and ready to deal with the problem. They were courteous, professional, and competent. What more could I ask? The problem was solved within 30 minutes. Kudos. The bottom line is that the next time, and there always is a next time, I will call Mike Counsil first, rather than the "big" firms. more

We've used Mike Counsil Plumbing for a few years now for varied plumbing jobs. They are very professional, knowledgeable and supportive in getting the job done right with as little stress as possible. They are VERY aware and respectful in not damaging your property. Which is a big concern of ours when having someone working in our home. We definitely trust them, which is another major consideration. more

Great service 2/2/2016

I am very pleased with Mike Counsil Plumbing company. We had absolutely great experience. There were 3 different plumbing issues in our house, and every time they were addressed in a best professional way. One of the plumbing problems we had for awhile , and 2 companies worked on it fruitlessly. The tech from Mike Counsil company diagnosed immediately the problem, addressed it, and everything wax fixed. A couple of days ago we discovered at night time that our water heater was leaking water - Called Mike Counsil company and in less then one hour we had the tech who fixed everything. more

Too much was charged for the job that was done. 2/1/2016

A fixture I provided was replaced in the shower. It took all of 20 minutes for the technician to complete that task. I was charged over $200 for the job, which I feel was really high. I am having your firm do another repair tomorrow. I am hoping the cost will be more reasonable. more

The work is satisfactory, but the price was ridiculous 1/27/2016

An example of your ridiculous pricing is $996 just to install a dishwasher that I purchased, delivered, and had in the kitchen ready to slide into the cabinets. That is more than twice the price of the machine. I talked you down to just under $400 (for an hours work). I will not recommend you to anyone. more
