I had a leek from the toilet tank to the floor. The toilet was old and was replaced with a new, model which had engineering improvements. Charles was mindful of the floor and basin cabinet. If a future need arises, I would ask to have Charles do the work. more

Dave came to our house on time. He was not familiar with the high hand Groehe valve installed in the Jack and Jill bathroom but he did fine. It turned out that his first repair did not do much so he came back and put in a new valve. The shower works very now more

Codi came out for my annual inspection on Sept. 1. As all your technicians are, he was very professional and courteous. Everything looked good which was no surprise since it was all work done by MCP. He did have two recommendations for safety upgrades on original equipment, one for an earthquake emergency shut off valve on the gas meter, and the other to change the shut off valve on the furnace to quarter turn. While Codi was here I asked him to tighten my 10 year old kitchen faucet (not installed by MCP). I then scheduled a follow up appointment for the following week to take care of the two recommendations and install a new kitchen faucet. I opted for Codi to pick out the new faucet because that way I knew it would be the best for the price package we were going with rather than me trying to pick one. On the follow up appointment on the 7th Henry came out to do the work for the recommendations and install the new faucet. Henry is also very professional and courteous and I am extremely pleased with his work as I always am with all your technicians. And very happy with the faucet that Codi picked out. I did ask for Henry to come out again this morning (the 12th) to adjust the hot & cold swing on the faucet handle but this was mainly due to the design of this particular faucet and in no way a reflection on the way he installed it. Henry gladly came out and It only took him a few minutes and it was adjusted perfectly. I highly recommend MCP to take care of all plumbing needs. more

We had a leak under our dishwasher and called Mike Counsil plumbing for help. They came out the same day which was great. Bobby Mata was our plumber and he was terrific. He was very professional, patient and thorough. He explained what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Unfortunately, the water had caused quite a bit of damage, so it turned out to be a much bigger job. Bobby called the environmental company to come and take care of the next phase of the project. He knew exactly how to handle this type of problem and was very reassuring. I highly recommend Mike Counsil plumbing and especially Bobby! more

Called with a problem that needed quick attention. They were working next door and quickly called extra help in. Assessed the problem and suggested a solution and were open to suggestions for routing pipes for cosmetic reasons. Got the job done right while we went on vacation. We came back to a clean job site with a professional looking solution. Only disappointed that promised pictures of job being performed were not done. No problems came up with city permitting. Very professional and pleasant staff. more

I appreciated the service and good workmanship of the Mike Counsil plumbers who replaced my water main recently. It was a time-critical repair and they did it the day after we called them. The reason the value rating is not 5 stars is that the price was a bit high - $3,400 to replace about 14 feet of pipe and connected shut-offs (which did require digging out some sod). Good work overall. more

After two scheduling issues they came out for a shower repair. The valve was completely damaged and had to be replaced. The problem was difficult to diagnose at first. Once victor and Aaron located the issue the repair was complete. They were very neat and clean and kept me updated during the repair. The price seems fair with the amount of hours they spent at my home on three different occasions. I didn't pay a dime until it was completed. more

This job sort of kept growing, like Topsy. But the crew worked steadily and finally go it all done. Everyone was informative, patient and reliable. Jaime, Joey, Pedro, Carlos, Joshua - and all the others were very polite, did their best to keep things as clean as possible - made sure that I knew what was going on and how it was done - and then made sure that I knew how to operate all the new stuff properly. When I ran into a problem, someone was there within an hour to sort it out and fix it. I would, and indeed already have, recommended your company and your service. Thanks, Glen, Daniel and Sean. We can't say enough about Mario, Freddie and Angel. FRom the moment they arrived they were very courteous, informative, responsible and competent. Mario, Freddy and Angel were very polite and made sure that their work space was kept clean and tidy. VIctoria tidied the house beautifully, and Juan P. did an outstanding job repairing the dry wall and plaster. more
