After our discussion of PELICAN's water conditioner, Abel inspected our outside water heater and main city water set of pipes. We quickly decided to have Abel repair the City water main connection, as well as install a new water heater. I called about a plumbing problem with two toilets, got an appointment the same day. 1. First I was sent an email with a photo and name of the technician that would be coming to do the job. 2. Dave Moulton the technician called me about 20 minutes before his arrival, came on time, listened to what I had to say and took care of all the problems. 3. He was professional, courteous and neat, did an outstanding job and left the work areas clean. I am 100 satisfied and have already recommended your company to my sister when she needs work done. Your company is the best I have ever had to deal with. Thank you and I hope you will be around for a long time to come. more

We called Mike Counsil Plumbing because our kitchen sink was not draining. Mike Bass showed us all the problems in the basement, including a cracked main sewer pipe. Mike and crew cut out the old broken pipes and installed new sewer pipes, which then enabled them to replace the drain pipe under the kitchen sink at the proper slope for good drainage, plus new p-traps with vents under that sink and the bathroom sink. And he reset the toilet. Good work! more

It's easy for a service to do good work when everything goes smooth. The way they handle their own mistakes can truly demonstrate their quality. There was a scheduling mix-up, and a day was wasted. That's why they only get 4 stars for service. But, as soon as we communicated, they had someone out in 30 minutes. Charles was great. I know he was in contact with the tech who originally came up with our plan and estimate, several times. I felt comfortable that the job was getting done the same as originally planned.Charles and Jerry were uber-courteous, clean and careful. they were very personable and obviously worked well together.A little joking between them tells me they were relaxed and confident.And I feel less guilty for giving someone a really terrible job to do. As usual,in an old house, the job became more complicated than they first thought.But they both stayed until 7:30 pm. And continued to do a "little extra" all the way through. It's a great relief to find a company we can rely on and keep going back to. Did i mention that their estimate was $1000 cheaper than the other guy?! We've already set up another job with them. more

Josh came out within 1 hour to fix a water heater. He went to work quickly, determined the problem quickly, and fixed it quickly. He was a very polite and well spoken tech with a great attitude. I call early this morning *Saturday) and received an appointment same day. Mat and Charles arrived.They shared how their company works, talked about satisfaction guaranteed. I told them the problem, the evaluated the problem and fixed it. After fixing the leak, they reviewed all my faucets, including in the garage and on the patio and fortunately everything was "good". I asked about some replacement fixtures for my bath tub and sinks in the master bath. They evaluated what needed to be done, and gave me a potential dollar figure. I said, I would think about it since it wasn't urgent and if I decide to have the work done I would certainly call. I also asked about some electrical work. They contacted one of the companies electricians and we set up an appointment to have the work done. Both Mat and Charles were professional, efficient, and they answered all my questions. They are also very pleasant. more

Called Mike Council and received excellent and very efficient serivce from Josh. He was very professional and seemed very knowledgable about his work. He kepted his appointment exactly on time which is also impressive these days. more

I needed a lavatory sink faucet, handles, and pop-up drain drain replaced with a new purchased set. In addition I needed a video scan of my sewer line which had backed up previously. I called MC Plumbing and was offered a time slot within 3 hours. Moses called about a half hour before the scheduled appointment time to advise me that the technician was running about a half hour late. Josh arrived as Moses had predicted and proceeded to professionally replace the sink fixtures after explaining the costs, deducting the cost of the diagnosis fee and appropriate coupon. He always wore booties on his feet and placed protective sheeting in the work area. Everything was picked-up and clean when he was finished. He then did the video scan of the line and explained that the observed roots were not a problem at the present and give me the approximate location. more

Previously we had used a father-and-son team handyman type plumber and regretted it as the quality was poor while the charges were rich. This time we used Mike Counsil. Prices were consistent with the high level service and quality of the work. Mike Bass was their service man. He was knowledgeable, efficient, competent and polite. We will use them again. more

I would like to thank Mike Counsil and his staff. I had a problem that needed attention really fast and quick. The company sent out Josh. Josh was very knowledgeable and knew how to fix then problem. He explained himself and the situation very well. Josh discovered that the issue was with the city of San Jose and not a problem with our property. Mike Counsil was recommended by a cousin that has a large plumbing operation in two other areas of California. I would use them again and will ask for either Dave or Abel as I trust them to give me the honest answers I need to make sound decisions. more

We had a small issue with work previously done. Josh responded and resolved the problem with leaking shower faucets within hours of our calling. The quick response was done in a timely manner and we will use Council again if we have future plumbing problems. more
