Stanley James - Outstanding Sales Associate 3/30/2011

We have been looking for a new car for about six weeks - mostly using an online car locator service. First, let me say in hindsight, I think we wasted six weeks. We should have instead just gone over to Mercedes Benz of Cary. Yesterday we paid exactly what we expected to pay for the vehicle we were looking for and didn't have to drive 150 miles to get it. The best part of the car buying process was the sales associate we dealt with - Stanley James. It is not often that I encounter *any* sales person who conveys genuine interest in what we, the buyers are saying. He did. Stanley is friendly, genuine and will work to try to get you the deal that works best for MB of Cary and you, the buyer. He really gets the win/win sales process. I'll be in the market for another car in the next few months and have already told Stanley what I'm looking for; asking him to keep me in mind if/when it comes in. I have little doubt he will and we'll have completed two car purchases within a very short period of time. I won't even bother with the other car dealers around here any more - I found a great dealership, a knowledgeable and friendly sales associates and outstanding pre-sales detailing - why should I? more

My second car bought from MB of Cary. Stanley James helped me through a lease transfer and really came through, especially on finding the exact car I wanted (an E350 BlueTec with a bunch of options). Everyone at the dealership was great and really accommodating. A great dealership all around (including a first rate service department). more

satisfying buying experience 3/16/2011

i purchased my first MB recently from MB of cary. our sales contact was stanley james who did a very good job without the annoying attitude many of the car sales guys show. he responded to calls and emails promptly and made all necessary arrangements very quick. we knew exactly what we wanted and stanley found it for us. after our car "got lost" temporarily for unknown reasons, stanley made up for the delay and delivered the car on the evening of valentines day. i am happy to hear they now offer service pick up and drop off in chapel hill, i think that is a good (and much needed) customer service. more

A great buying experience 2/9/2011

I just bought my 3rd car from Bob McGuire at Mercedes Benz of Cary. I can't tell you how easy Bob makes the whole buying experience. If you're in the market for a new Mercedes, I would highly recommend you ask specifically for Bob. He is easy to talk to, friendly, but more importantly knows his product inside and out and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. And after the buying experience, you should also ask for Kim Fredlund to be your service manager. She has serviced 4 cars for us and she is absolutely the best. Bob & Kim are the reason we keep going back to Mercedes Benz of Cary. To me, buying and getting my car serviced is always a pain, but they make it painless. more

A month ago i was looking to buy a new car. I was visiting different dealers until i got to mercedes benz of cary. It was the best experience ever, the best customer service. They gave me exactlly what i was looking for: quality and price, i know i had a lot of requirements and they were very patient. I bought my first Mercedes Benz and Mercedes Benz of Cary treated me VERY well last week during my car buying experience. He was so genuine. In finance, Ben Metzler gave me excellent personal service. He gave me the pros and cons of each additional service, gave me a great interest rate and made a normally stressful expectation overwhelming calm and enjoyable. He answered my email questions in a timely manner, did the math for me several times regarding the down payment and monthly payments. I was very pleased with the entire experience. And still a little shocked it went so smoothly. Warmest regards to the entire MB of Cary staff. I will definitely return. -KP more
