Since the sale by the original owners to By Next, the business has entirely deteriorated. I was a long-time, happy customer prior to the sale, and made the mistake of taking my drapes there for cleaning two months ago. Under current management, no one answers the phone, or responds to voice mails and emails. The only thing they seem able to do is charge one's credit card, which they do at the same high prices as when there was customer service under prior ownership. It is shameful that this business continues to charge such high prices given that there is no customer service. It took multiple calls, voicemails, and emails over more two months to finally get a status report on my drapes and get them back. I will never use Madame Paulette again and encourage anyone reading this to avoid this place like the plague. more

I used the Gilt coupon that included free deliver to anywhere in the USA. Madam Paulette's customer service DID NOT call me to figure it out until I called them several time to figure out where my jacket was. I just got it more than A MONTH after I dropped it off and they have the nerve to charge me for delivery AGAIN! They charge and arm and a leg for a service that is mediocre at best. Go to Maurice instead. This place is not worth it. more

this place has to be the worst place ever. for a place that prides themselves on customer satisfaction and that even donald trump goes to, they are very uncooperative and stressful to deal with. they do not work with the clients (maybe only unless you're a billionaire do they care about you) and you are better off passing up their exorbitant pricing. like dealing with a brick wall. more

My doorman gave Madame Paulette our laundry bag by mistake instead of another tenant's and they charged us $700 for LAUNDRY!! Some of the outrageous charges included $12 for 1 pair of underwear, $13 for dirty undershirts, $10 for a single pillow case and $49 for a bath towel. It would've been cheaper to replace some of these items v pay to clean them. Since this was a mistake, I tried to talk them down from their ridiculous fees for laundering my clothes in error and they refused to return my items. I had to contact the police who intervened and acted as an arbitrator and we were able to negotiate the price down to $300 just to get my clothes returned to me! This is VERY bad business and to be honest, my clothes were not even in great shape when they were returned. My towels were tough and starchy and they didn't even return my laundry bag. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! THEY DO SHADY BUSINESS AND RIP PEOPLE OFF! more
