Madame Paulette did a fabulous job altering my wedding dress. The alterations were within the original hems, and the service was impeccable. In addition to my wedding dress, I brought a few items to be cleaned, which also turned out to be great. Best cleaners by far in New York. more

In Good Hands 11/3/2011

My wife's two Hermes scarves arrived today. She had tears in her eyes when she saw that you were able to remove the black ""Sharpie"" marker stain from the one. She had hoped, and prayed that the stain would come out. I knew they were in good hands and we had confidence in Madame Paulette. But I told myself at least the stain was on the inside of the scarf and we'd just have to accept it and that perhaps all that could be done was to remove the grease splotch. To open the package and see the scarf had no sign at all of any stain nor any wear and tear from cleaning - we were so happy! Thank you very, very much! more

After a large gathering at my home I had a giant stain on my dining room rug so I called Madame Paulette. It was a miracle that they were able to get the stain out of the rug and it looked better than it has looked in years when they finished it. I am so happy with the results and have already recommended them to a few friends! more

I brought my wedding dress here to have it cleaned before the ceremony and they did a fantastic job. It had been in my closet since I purchased it so it was a bit wrinkled and just needed to look fresher. They made it look like I had just purchased it the day before my wedding, it was perfect. more

Madame Paulette could not have been nicer, more helpful or more effective! They did better than I could have imagined considering the extent of the stain and the long period of time it had to set. They explained every detail to me and kept me up to date and informed. more

Worth every penny.. 9/13/2011

I brought an antique family heirloom dress in. It had some rust stains and was a yellowish color from oxidation over the years. I was assured it could be restored to its former glory and I was quoted $350. I was taken back, but, having searched long and hard for somewhere to have the cleaning done properly, what choice did I have? I finally got my dress back a month ago and I have to say, I am DELIGHTED with the result. To me, worth every penny. more

The only place I, and many of my fellow designers would trust their most delicate, expensive, and prized creations. Did you drop and tear your $50K Monique Lhuillier wedding gown in the mud? This might be the only establishment you can cry to... Not cheap, but if your couture piece is truly that, it won't matter. more

I used this place to have my wedding gown pressed. I must say, they did an amazing job. They got my dress back ON TIME and in PRISTINE condition (they also gave me a complimentary stain removal kit). There was not a single wrinkle in the dress no matter how I laid it or hung it. Even after sitting in my dress while they did my make up and a delay in my limo, the dress magically did not appear to have a wrinkle. I will definitely use them again for any other special occasion. Highly recommend!!! more

I was getting married and I needed someone to alter my dress. I hear from a friend that recently got married that she went to Madame Paulette. When I went in there I was happy because she was so nice and listened to what I wanted. I would highly recommend because she is amazing. more
