Businiess name:  Madame Paulette Dry Cleaners
Review by:  Pat B.
Review content:
Madame Paulette goes above and beyond the call of simple dry cleaning. This business is entrusted by the world's most famous designers to perform alterations on intricate and delicate couture and vintage wedding gowns. This is the dry cleaner of choice favored by names such as Versace, Chanel and Armani. Do you have a vintage gown that requires very special attention such as re-beading, cleaning, extensive alterations or repair? Then this is the place to visit. Madame Paulette has been in business for almost fifty years and it has somewhat of a cult following among those in the know. I first became familiar with it years ago when I overheard women talking about it at a fancy dinner held at the Waldorf Astoria. The attention to detail in taking care of garments is well known--especially for preservation and repair of bridal gowns. In addition, they do exceptional dry cleaning which is pricey but worth it. We recently took a custom made mens suit there and it was inspected carefully and returned in just like new condition. Madame Paulette's team of interior specialists also performs its magic on silk balloon shades and restoring antique furniture upholstery on beloved family heirlooms. Don't live near Madame Paulette, check out their web-site (www.madamepaulette.com) for list of services. You can even schedule an on-line pickup of your treasured garment. They FEDEX garments anywhere to satisfied customers every single day.
