WARNING--- DO NOT SIGN UP WITH LOUD SecurityTELL EVERYONE!---- this company not only gave the worse service ever ,,,, but if the employe named Daniel got anymore joy in being so "right" it would be a crime ,,,, After taking my money month 2 month for a service which i had not been receiving ,,,, after i canceled ,was then told that i still owed for the remaining year ,,,,, "well if you read the original paper you signed ( 9 years ago) *cause I'm sure we all remember stuff we signed years ago* ,,,, " you didn't cancel on the exact day of the exact month on the exact minute and second ,,, so you owe us even more money for the upcoming year ,,,,, on service which again you will not be getting ,,,,, so now more

Great Company - High Moral Standard 10/19/2011

I've been a customer for years. While I can see below that there are some mad customers, when i read into them, it looks like it is all of the customers that decided not to pay their bills. I run a business too, and I understand that business obligations must be met on both sides. From experience, I can tell you that this company is a great company that goes beyond the expectations of most of it's customers (myself included). John Loud and the business have been nominated for business of the year multiple times, recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and I personally know that John himself sits on the board with the Cheifs of Police for false alarm reduction. This company truly cares about its people, its community and its customers. more

Best Small Business in Kennesaw 10/18/2011

Prior to being monitored by Loud Security, I was with ADT/BRINKS (they are now 1 company I think). I was paying $35 a month for what im now paying $22 for. I chose not to add the warranty on my old system for $5/month, but even with it, I'm still saving $7/month over ADT. Loud also called me a few days after my install to check on me, then again a few days after i accidently had a false police dispatch that was my fault(once again, just to check if everything was ok). They have been an absolutely great company to work with so far! Best of all, they are based here in Kennesaw, so when I call them, the know the neighborhoods, the know the area, and they know what it will really take to get someone to me. I read Kudzu before I signed up, but honestly, it sounds like most of the complaints here are from people that just didnt want to pay their monthly bill after they agreed to. I dont know why they would be suprised about a company collecting their money in that respect. I've never gotten a free house or car after agreeing to pay for it, so I dont know why a security system would be different. I would say this. Do your research and look at the total cost of all of the company offers, then find the company that fits your needs with use common sense to wade through all the BS. more

Great Company - Amazing Response Time 10/18/2011

LOUD Security is just one of those "perfect" companies to me. After being broken into overnight, Loud Security was able to get someone out to my house that very next morning to install a system in my house. The worked right alongside the other contractors repairing the damage to my place from the break-in. They were out to my house within hours and had me protected immediately. I cant really thank you enough for making us feel a little more safe after a horrible situation. THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME. more

Beware of this companies business practices 8/7/2011

This company uses a contract that includes an evergreen clause. That means it auto renews unless you send them a letter stating you are no longer interested in using their services. We did just that. We even received a call from the owner John, asking why we are canceling. We provided our explanation, although not needed in my opinion. And they continued to bill us. We went back and forth with them for over a year explaining that we had canceled the services and that if they were truly monitoring us they would have seen that they were not connecting to anything because their equipment was removed. They did not honor the cancellation, they continued to bill us for a service that we were not using and sent us to collections. Dirty business in my opinion, stay away, there is no reason to sign a contract for alarm monitoring. more

Access Control Praise 3/22/2011

Our HOA hired Loud Security last year to provide access control to our subdivision pool. Most of us thought it was a waste at the time, but it has proven its worth. Now that we can turn off access cards unpaid homeowners, we are finally able to get dues paid on time. I wasn't really a fan of the system until I realized how much money it was saving the subdivision and the board. It's amazing how fast someone will pay their HOA dues when little Mikey wants to go swimming and cant get in the gate. The customer service at Loud is exceptional. You wont be sorry if you use them. Thanks to all at Loud Security for Helping. You helped save our HOA from true finacial troubles. more

Great company 3/22/2011

I've been with Loud Security for years now. What really matters is that when my alarm goes off, the central station calls me. If I dont cancel the alarm, they dispatch. The only time that didnt happen was my fault because I changed my phone provider and forgot about the fact that my security system was hooked up to my phone lines. When that happened though, I opted to make my system work on the a cell-phone and I dont have to worry about that anymore. Loud Security is a great company. You can trust them and all of their employees. more

I think this compnay is AMAZING 3/22/2010

I have been with this company for a while now and I think they are amazing. My alarms have always been answered when it needs to be, and on many occasions I have fot a service call on the same day that I call. They did have a girl in AR that is no longer there, she was tuff if you didn't pay but that is her job and I have never had bad words with her. The other lady that I had to talk with was also in AR I think her name was karen, she was very sweet and worked with me on my payments on my system. Overall, I would say that this is a great company to use, may not be the cheapest but they are great with there service. Pros: Great service, nice employees Cons: Stiff on paying on time, will get you with late fees more

Loud Security - Worst Experience I've had in my life!! 4/5/2009

Loud made all kinds of mistakes when installing our home security. Then, they didn't want to fix them. They were arrogant and non-communicative. They kept hiding behind the contract that they wrote up that even says that they aren't responsible for their own negligence!! Please...don't even consider chancing your home security to Loud. You are better off leaving your doors and windows unlocked and open! If you want to get screwed too...call Loud! Cons: Horrible customer service. Mean people. No accountability more

Very Fair, Very Understanding 1/23/2009

I just wanted to write a letter in thanks to loud security for working with me. After my husband lost his job, we fell behind on many of our bills including this one. While we avoided the calls in the beginning, we finally spoke with them and got everything worked out. Loud security took out all late charges and froze our monitoring for 3 months to give us time to play "catch up". I spoke to the owner, John, and he was very understanding about the situation and just asked me to stay in contact with him. He also let me know if I needed to extend the 3 months that he was willing to work with me as long as I would keep in contact with him or his office. I cant tell you how hard it has been working with other companies to get the same level of service. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Pros: Great and understanding people if you really talk to them Cons: Maybe not the cheapest, but still a good value more

Read the fine print 8/14/2008

Beware of this company! I was verbally told that once my contracted time was met then I could cancel service at any time without penalty. Turns out that you are automatically renewed yearly and must give 60 days notice in order to cancel. Basically your contract never ends. In addition, the system never worked properly. Very annoyed here and paying 220 to get out of this situation. Pros: cheap Cons: contract more

For what my opinion is worth, I think loud security is a good and fair company. I have been with them for a number of years. Although you do have to sign a long term commitment, they give you the system up front so I know that this is their only way of ensuring profitability. Basically just like a cell phone agreement. I've never had a major problem with my security system. Just the standard issues like my battery getting old and stuff. I doo know that every time I have set it off, their monitoring people call me just as they should. I've never had an actual break-in, but I trust that the police would be dispatched if I ever needed them to be. i checked out other larger companies once, but Brinks and ADT charge over $30/month for basic service and since mine uses cellular, they wanted over $42 a month. I found a couple I could get cheaper, but overall I feel that the change would just not have been worth taking the risk since I know I have always had good service from Loud Security in the past. My bottom line thought is that if you go into this knowing that you will have to sign an agreement to pay for the discounts they give you up front, that you will get good customer service as long as you are a customer. Pros: good customer service with practical advice and help Cons: none escept for the term agreement more

Deceptive Contracts Unethical Behavior 3/20/2008

Trying to deal with Loud Security has been a nightmare. Their alarm systems malfunctioned repeatedly. The police were constantly wasting their time running back and forth because Loud Security refused to ever repair their system in my house. When I called their office for help they just argued with me. When I tried to rid myself of this nonsense they just reminded me I was trapped in a THREE YEAR CONTRACT. Eventhough they were never able to fix the system they wouldn't stop charging me. The hack office manager, Karissa Peffer, was rude and arrogant whenever I tried to work with this place. Customer service was a joke. Look at the post on this website from 3/1/2008 by windere1. That is a LOUD Security employee, Eric Widner, posing as a customer! Unbelieable that THE ONLY positive review Loud Security got was their own empoyee. STAW AWAY FROM LOUD SECURITY! There are many reputable security systems to deal with who actually have a professional staff (not just their own family members) and a history of ethical business practices. Pros: Are you kidding? Seem Honest and Fair 2/29/2008

When i met Loud Security at a homeshow, I was skeptical at first. I am now glad that I made an appointment. My house was broken into, and Loud Security came out the very next day to install my system. Their employees were all great to work with and seemed to genuinley care that I feel secure in my home. The understood that I was shaken up and they did everything they could to help me feel safe in my own home. Thank you for everything!!!! My experience with loud security was very good. My sales person gave me a very good deal and price. My technician seeemed very knowledgable. Using my new system is very easy Seems like a great company so far. Pros: Great Customer service and and Great Value Cons: Non so far more

This website is covered in horrible reviews from customers who have been cheated and abused by this company. Loud Security is posting positive reviews for itself using its own employees! Check out the favorable reviews posted by "widenere". Gee, I wonder if that is Eric Widener, the person who answered the phone when I called to complain about their malfunctioning product they couldn't repair but billed me for anyway????? Now they claim they can't "let me out of my contract despite the fact that I have paid them for over four years and sumbitted a 60 day written notice". It never ceases to amaze me how slimy this company is and the lengths they will go to in order to deceive and cheat their own customers. Horrible service, outdated equipment, high fees for fixing their own malfunctioning product, unfriendly customer service (it seems it's always the same one lady taking calls and being extremely vicious and unhelpful). Be very cautious about doing business with this company. Prices are very high for outdated and inoperational equipment. Very difficult to deal with - questions regarding account activities and payments are responded to with extreme hostility. My account payments are current - very unhappy with service and cancelled. Company is suing me for cancellation even though actions to cancel were taken within contract provisions. Do not recommend doing business with this company under any circumstances. more

Do you homework. Avoid this home security company. 1/15/2007

Received very poor service. Antiquated equipment that did not function properly and very high monthly rates. Called / emailed for assistance. Extremely poor customer service from very young, unprofessional account rep. Short responses and arrogant attitude. Do not recommend doing business with these people. more
