My wife contacted this company to fix our A/C.... My wife was charged $324 to fix a capacitor - Something we had done by a different company a several years ago for around $150. A Capacitor costs less than $50. So we were charged: $70 for a trip fee (Seriously? You're charging me just to come to my house?), and assuming a $50 capacitor, that's $120 so far... Which leaves over $200 for 15 minutes - 30 minutes MAX worth of work. So... $400 per hour for labor? Really? A trip fee? Really? I'd like to know how this company justifies this kind of pricing. Not only will I never call this company again, I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't. more

KB Complete is the worst company that I ever met. High price, unfriendly staff. 20 minutes replacement of a draft inducer motor charges over $400-500 labor. Strongly not recommend this company. more

$79 for a trip charge is outrageous! I called this company because they are also in Shawnee and I like to support our local companies. $436 repair quote, on top of the trip charge for a total of $515-compared to $350 quote(including trip charge) from another well known contractor. Parts from Fergussons were $91. Disappointed and would not contact them again. I was very satisfied with the Service we recieved from KC Complete Plumbing and Heating. We asked them to come out to our home to complete some items from a recent home inspection so we could sell our home. Alex came out to the house and spent over three hours going over the inspection report and addressing all the buyers concerns. He fixed everything and even gave us a discount on the cost. Very happy. The company was able to help me and get to me in a timely manner. All the people I dealt with were friendly and helpful. However, I found the company to be a little on the high side! $240 to unclog a drain! The last plumber I used only charged me $120 for the exact same service. I needed an estimate to repair underground pipes. The person on the phone making the appt for me said it was a "free estimate". After the guy put the camera down the drain he said it was $150 for that service. I told him I was told it a free estimate so he didn't charge me. To dig up my yard and repair/change pipes is high as well. more

We were having difficulty balancing the cooling in our house between the upper and street level floors. KB Complete dispatched a technician and it became apparent immediately that he was an expert with much experience in heating and cooling systems. He made strategic adjustments and provided invaluable advice. We have followed his instructions and are now enjoying balanced and comfortable temperature of 75 degrees throughout the home - even when outside temperature is 105 degrees. We had believed it would take an auxilliary cooling system to solve the problem, but he got our existing system adjusted and it works. This kind of service has convinced us to keep a relationship with this company as it is operated by and employs good and honest people. more

From my initial phone call to their office until the installation was complete, I was so impressed with everyone at K B Complete. The temperature was in the 100s and our 37-year-old central air unit died. The office scheduled an estimater very quickly. The estimater was very thorough and explained what would need to be done and why. He helped us chose the best option for us and our new unit was installed the next day! The installers were very professional, very friendly, and did an excellent job installing the new equipment and leaving everything clean and neat when they finished. The installer came back twice during the day to check on progress and make sure everything was going well. I can't say enough about the knowledge, professionalism, and helpfulness of everyone at K B Complete and would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors. more

I am so happy with K B Complete Plumbing Heating! I have had a service contract with them for heating and air conditioning ever since I moved into my new house in October 2007. I call them to come out during the fall and winter, but have never hesitated in calling them anytime I have an issue. Their technicians are very knowledgeable, and are happy to answer all your questions as well as give suggestions. They are very professional and clean up after themselves. I actually had a problem with my hot water tank a few weeks ago so I called them in the morning and they were able to send out a technician the same day, right after noon. I was concerned that I would have to buy a new water heater, but James was able to take care of everything. What I really appreciated was that James had all the tools he needed on the truck so that he didn't have to rush out to fetch anything. James even cleaned up and hauled everything away. He finished it all in one hour and a half trip. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They did an excellent job. Their service is excellent and everyone from the technicians to the receptionist was professional, friendly, and polite. I especially like doing business with them since this is a small town and they are family-owned. I've heard horror stories from my friends about other companies and services and I'm so glad I didn't have to look around for the right guys! I wouldn't call anyone else! more

K B Complete Plumbing Heating did a full system furnace and air conditioner replacement. I looked at three vendors, and K B Complete had an excellent pricing package, presentation, and discussion. There were a lot of details in what was being specified. I had an absolutely great experience! more

Our air conditioning went out one night, and the next morning at 7 AM I called KB Complete. They were here by 1 PM that afternoon and were done and gone by 5 PM that evening. The AC is up and running and we are very, very happy with it. A serviceman from KB Complete had come out before to check the old AC because it wasn't cooling enough. He put in a part and strongly recommended that we think about having a new AC system put in. We were hoping it would last through the summer, but it did not. However, when everything went out KB Complete was very fast, very professional, and very good. more

I recently received an estimate to replace the condenser, A coil, and furnace in my home. Brett came out to my house the same day I called. He was on time, very nice, and he provided a competitive price. At the end of the day, I went with another company for the install but Brett did a good job and I would recommend him to anyone I know. more

Watch out - they will try to screw you if they think they can get away with it.\r \r I had them come out to check out my A/C unit which wasn t working properly. The tech quickly identified the problem as a bad condenser fan motor. Now comes the screw job: He told me it would cost $775 plus the trip charge to replace it. He then went into sales-pitch mode about how this was an older unit and did I really want to put almost $1,000 into it? For only $4,000 they could replace the entire outside unit and coil with a new high-efficiency unit that would last much longer.\r \r Well, my spidey-sense went off immediately. Did some checking around with other contractors - that s a $100 fan and it's about 20 minutes worth of labor to install it. Called one of them, came out the same day, replaced it and checked refrigerant levels for $225.\r \r I m just mad that I paid KB $118 in trip charges and diagnostic fees . Should have gone with the little shop my next-door neighbor recommended in the first place. more

We obtained three estimates prior to selecting K and B to replace our air conditioner. We were impressed by the depth of the initial inspection. All estimates were close so the decision was not based on cost. We are pleased we selected K and B and will use them in the future for any plumbing needs. We opted to buy a service contract based upon our experience. more

We have been using KB Complete since they opened. They recently installed a new furnace on the 2nd floor of my home and I know for a fact our house has awful steps and not a good configuration for this type of job. Having replaced a furnace with a different company before, I know this process can be sticky and complicated. KB Complete made it look as smooth as butter, just flawless. They are always on time and reliable and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend them. more
