I discovered that my furnace had malfunctioned on a Saturday morning. I called our usual HVAC company, one of the largest in town, and reached their answering service. Forty-five minutes later I received a call back from the technician on duty. He spent 5 minutes convincing me that he wasn't particularly interested in coming by to fix our problem. Regardless, I was #4 on his list of customers and he would call me back if he had time to come by. I'd seen KB's trucks in the neighborhood and decided to give them a call. The whole experience couldn't have been better. The person answering the phone(not an answering service) arranged to have one of the service techs stop by after completing his current job. The tech arrived promptly, after calling again to let me know that he was on the way, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the necessary blower motor on his truck, provided an estimate for the cost of the repair and quickly swapped out the broken motor. Needless to say, KB is my new HVAC provider of choice. I give them my highest recommendation.
