Michelle is brilliant with hair color! She also found someone else to style afterwards because I didn't have an appointment for that, Raymond did an excellent job. I live in West Texas but will only let Josephine's stylists to touch my hair. more

Service Review 1/1/2012

I had a waxing service done by Simin. She is an excellent aesthetician. I appreciate that she does not rush through the service, but takes the time to check to make sure that the service is complete. I have had other waxing experiences at Josephine's where this was not the case. The service that Simin provides is what I would expect from a quality establishment such as Josephine's. She is one of the reasons that I continue to come back. more

worst mani/pedi experience 12/31/2011

I have been going to Josephine's for three years now, mostly for manicures and pedicures. I chose Josephine's (over the 1,000 + nail spas in the Houston area) because I enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly staff. I don't usually write any reviews but my last two experiences at Josephine's have been really poor. This last time was definitely the worst. The lady was obviously in a hurry and it felt like she just cut my nails and then applied the nail polish. She did not even bother to clean up the corners. I was very disappointed. I literally had to go back home to remove all the nail polish disaster and reapply. Very disappointed with the quality of the services recently. more

Haircut & Style 12/30/2011

Didn't get the usual hand massage after my hair was washed. Ashley said she was going to texturize my hair after she dried it and never did. I don't know if she decided that my hair didn't need it? Either way, she didn't communicate why she didn't do it. I thought she was a little lazy in round brushing my hair. Overall...I am very happy with my hair cut more

I recommend Josephine's to all of my friends and family. The atmosphere is always very relaxing, I love the hand massage and calming oil they use on your hands during any hair wash you get before a hair cut! They always offer you a glass of water with lemon and they often send coupons out to help make it even more affordable! more

Gena always does a great job on my hair. My family raved about it. I also enjoy going to Jessica and Lily. Jessica is the best haircutter in town and does great hair. Lily did an exceptional job on my hair for our Christmas party dinner. They are all first class. more

unfortunate theft 12/24/2011

While undressing I set my pres. glasses on the granite in bathroom. When I came back 45 min. later someone had taken them causing me to spend another $300. Only Angela was concerned and fortunately I had my prescription sunglasses in the car or I wouldn't have been able to drive home. Even tho I offered a reward it was in vain. I hate to think that an employee or customer would do this. the glasses were only 4 days old. more

I usually see Olivia for my hair appointments ,but yesterday I decided to see Jessica because Olivia had no available appointments! I absolutely love my new hair cut! She was very friendly and welcoming! I will have a hard time deciding who to schedule my next appointment with now! more

Fantastic hair salon and relaxing spa services 12/22/2011

I've tried many of Josephine's spa services including waxing and facials. I'm now a regular hair salon client though - Jessica is capable, knowledgeable and utterly fantastic, even with my long, thick and often moody hair! The spa ambiance is super relaxing as it should be, however the facials have not worked well for my breakout prone skin. So all great if you don't have problem skin. more
