Josephine's in a WONDERFUL salon and day spa. I have been going for over a year, and it's a great experience. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They give you your choice of beverage when you walk in, anywhere from water to beer and wine, and it’s all delicious. Ashley is the BEST stylist/colorist I have ever been to. She has fixed my fried hair and made it beautiful again! The hand massage you receive when your hair is being shampooed is the icing on the cake. All in all, Josephine’s is a MUST for all women and men in the area! more

last minute hair cut 10/14/2011

I have been going to Josephine's for years and I'm always a happy customer. They were able to get me in for a hair cut within 24 hours from when I called for an appointment. And even though I showed up late for my appointment, the stylist graciously kept the appointment. I was so happy I didn't have to reschedule. Thanks to everyone at the salon for working so hard! more

I really enjoyed the attention Michelle provided today. She listens and then gives her advice. I got color and a few highlights and they turned out great! My bangs were just right and I was concerned that they would be too long before I returned in 6 wks. That's when she informed me about free bangs trimming between appointments! I love that! more

My last appointment was in early August,unfortunately I missed my next appointment in September as I had a family crisis in UK ,Coming back to Houston it was 9 weeks between cut and hightlights ,and albeit my hair had grown it was still in the shape of the cut ,the colour looked good too .Today I had an amazing visit with DZ ,nothing was too much trouble even when I asked him to take a little more off .The whole experience was relaxed ,and I feel DZ treats all his "clients " as individuals ....... I feel great and my cut and colour are fabulous I am looking forwards to my next visit !! A BIG THANK YOU !! more

Once again DZ came to the rescue .I had missed my appointment in September as I had to go to UK for a "family crisis " .The cut DZ had done back at the beginning of August actually kept its shape for 9 weeks and although my hair had grown a great deal it was still presentable .Today had my full high lights and cut ,and although I am really fussy ( my belief ) DZ was patient ,listened and did everything I asked .Attention to detail is perfect ,nothing is too much trouble and I never feel rushed ...Thank you DZ ....I am looking forwards to my next appointment .!! more

I went in on the recommendation from my sister. Michelle was excellent with her recommendations for what was best for my hair type. She was very knowledgeable in explaining why I needed more layers around my face. She was so right! I'm very happy with the cut and style and made an appointment for color. more

Messy Manicure 10/8/2011

I had a manicure on September 23 with Wynne and again on October 7 with Krystal. Both of these ladies were very nice - but the polish was all over my fingers. I did not have my glasses on when Wynne painted my nails, so when I got home and looked at the manicure I couldn't believe it! It took me quite some time to "clean" up the mess! Same thing happened yesterday - I did have my glasses on and I asked Krystal to remove some of the polish on my fingers, when I got home I still had to spend quite some time fixing the manicure. I also got a pedicure from one of the younger girls and it was perfect. I'm so sad - Josephines is so convenient for me. Very clean and everyone is so nice. Oh well! more
