Houston's best hair salon! 2/19/2012

Ashley W at Josephine's Day Spa & Salon is awesome! She really listens to what you want, and incorporates her own creative vision, to execute the perfect haircut! The location is perfect as it's convenient for both people out west and east, located right in the middle, off 1-10. I get there off Dairy Ashford, then turn off Eldridge. The salon has a very nice, relaxed atmosphere and very well priced! The products are wonderful, and all smell great! Ashley suggested a product called Phomollient, which is a styling foam made with.......ready......marshmellow root and honey! It's the perfect combo to use on wet or dry hair to get the perfect style and hold. Amazingly it's not too sticky either! more

Ashley at Josephine's Saved the Day 2/15/2012

I have not had any hair products in my dark brown hair for over ten years. Needing a change, I recently had my hair highlighted at a 'friend's' salon and I was terribly unhappy with the brassyness and over exposure of it. I lived with it for a week and then went to Jospehines. Ashley is a miracle worker. She toned down the horrible white/blond hair frizzy mess and made it a lovely caramel color which now looks naturally hightlighted. she conditioned my hair and made is soft and lovely again. She really was fabulous and I will never stray from this salon again. I've learned my lesson! Josesphine is a fantastic salon which offers one stop shopping for all your beauty needs. I love the Aveda products. more

Ohhh i was so stressed when I arrived ...they slip me into my complementary Spa Pedicure and manicure ....It was soooooo wonderful... I love this place each time I go they meet my expatiation's above and beyond..... <3 more

I love coming to Josephine's on Eldridge. The friendly courtesy and greeting just sets the tone for the visit. I always look forward to relaxing and being made to feel that how I look when I leave and whether I am pleased with the service is important. more

Marni is a true professional in this industry 2/6/2012

I have been coming to Josephine's and specifically Marni for over 4 years. I am guaranteed an excellent, consistent experience. Marni is highly consulative, always does an excellent color and cut, the shampoo techs are always nice and it is great to have contoured bowls, a hand massage, stress relief aromatherapy and fruit flavored water. Another important plus is the quality products that are used, Aveda is an excellent natural alternative to the lesser products available. Thanks Marni and Josephine's! more

DZ never lets me down 2/3/2012

I so enjoy the total lack of angst when I come in for my haircut by DZ. In the pre-DZ days I'd either be peering into the mirror anxiously (glasses off!) or closing my eyes in silent prayer! I'd just never know what I'd end up with! The other problem was I had to be able to verbally direct the stylist - yikes! I want the stylist to be helping me find what will be best for my hair and my face! And that's what DZ does and he does it well but with no "attitude", just his usual calm, friendly, humorous way. Thanks again, DZ! more

Front desk needs revamping 1/31/2012

Massage was the best as aways but I was more stressed and frazzeled after dealing with the front desk. There is a lot of chaotic energy at the front desk. more

As always, my experience was wonderful. It begins when I walk in and a greeted so warmly. I love the shampoo room and the hand massage. I good not be happier with the expertise of my hair dresser and the products used. I love the aveda product line. more

Sassy new hairstyle 1/30/2012

As usual, I prolong making an appointment 'til my hair is impossible to style on my own. I arrive flustered with several pictures of "can you make my hair do this?", but don't cut it too short. Michelle calmly sits me down, examines my images of new hairstyles and points out the pros and cons. Then she deftly proceeds to control my overgrown locks and WOW I have a gorgeous new look! Thanks Michelle for your top-notch service. more

Massage with Troy 1/29/2012

I made a next-day appointment for Saturday for a massage-- it was superb! The table was very comfortable, Troy was very respectful and an excellent masseuse, and I left feeling more relaxed than I have in weeks!
