Loved my new look! 8/5/2005

I took a picture of the hair cut I wanted and Victor was able to not only give me the look I wanted but he also gave me advise on what would look best with my face shape and my hair length! He takes the time to consult with you and I appreciated his honesty and suggestions. I had a Hollywood party to go to that night and my new style was a hit!!! Victor is friendly and knows his stuff. I highly recommend him and you can not beat the value! more

TOP OF THE LINE HAIR STYLIST 8/5/2005

Victor has been styling my hair for almost a year now, and I am more than pleased everytime I walk out of the salon. He takes the time to do his best work each and every time you visit. He understands what you want done to your hair, and actually listens and follows through!! I have been receiving top notch work for an affordable price, and let me tell ya, that is hard to find out here!! I promise, you all will love him!! Make over magic 8/4/2005

Victor's knowledge of cutting and coloring hair was extremely well expressed through his majestical hands and what they did to my hair and face! He explained step by step every procedure brfore it happened and everything was exactly as he described in the end. I explained what I wanted and he made it happen. An amazing hair cut 8/4/2005

For years I had problems finding someone who could consistently give me a great hair cut. Victor Hugo has been the only one. I've been following him around for years and the true testament to his work is a very loyal client base. From the same cut over and over to changing it up, Victor always gives me an great cut. Never been happier 8/4/2005

No one has ever colored my hair as well as Victor!!! He is so creative and talented and gives amazing personal attention. I have never been happier with a stylist. I have been going to him for a year now and have ALWAYS been pleased with the cuts and color. (And I've done alot of variations) He's extremely reasonable for the high quality work that he does. Awesome color and cut! 8/3/2005

I went to Victor for a fresh fun color and stylish cut, the color came out exactly the way that I had pictured it! Now everywhere that i go people stop to complement me on my amazing color and fabulous hair cut! It was an awesome experience. Now, no one touches my hair except Victor! Great Color but does not cut well 6/24/2005

Great Customer Service and knows his coloring. The cut took him exactly 5 minutes and did not come up the way I wanted (even though I showed him a pic). I thought the cut might get better a few days later but no such luck. Maybe he was just pressed on time? Pros: Great coloring job, friendly, parking Cons: did not like the cut more

My mom and I found Victor on citysearch and decided we would get our hair cut there while we visited my sister in La. He was absolutely amazing! He was very personable, honest, fun, and awesome at styling hair! I would highly recommend going to him, and I am definitly going back to him! more

Trendy Stylist with exellent knowledge of hair!!! 5/15/2005

If you are in the L.A. area and looking for a fab haircut and/or color, give Victor Hugo a call! I found Victor Hugo on city search and decided to call as I was needing a fresh, yet natural look. My wedding is in one week so he fit me in and did a fantastic job. My color is amazing and he even showed me how to style my hair like the celebs on the magazine covers! My Fiance loves it and my hair has never had so much body! Victor is genuine and personable and that is what makes his salon the whole package! Pros: relaxing, reasonably priced more

Absolutely amazing! 5/10/2005

I've been a faithful customer to Victor Hugo for many years because he really knows hair. I've been to many salons and hair stylists, but was always somewhat disappointed with the final product...not that it was always bad, but usually very mediocre. Since I come from a multi-ethnic background my hair can be a bit unusual to deal with, but that did not stop Victor from consistently giving me an amazing cut. Besides his creative and knowledgeable background, he's also very friendly to deal with and you leave his salon feeling great about yourself. He's a very honest guy and will always do his best to give someone the best look. All this, and he's reasonably priced! What more could you ask for? I HIGHLY recommend him! Gentle handling to a salon ""virgin""! 4/21/2005

As a struggling actress, I have never really invested in a ""real"" salon visit until now, and the citysearch reviews are what led me to Victor Hugo. He is wonderful. The cut and style he gave me was, in one word, simple, and PERFECT for someone with such a busy lifestyle who doesn't have the time or energy to try to re-create a complicated look. Best of all, he was completely down to earth, without any pretense. I highly recommend his services if you want someone to create an easy, simple style that makes you look wonderful! more

Great Color 2/25/2005

I went to Victor Hugo for some hair color. First time with a new colorist is always scary...I left with the nicest color and the best part was that he told me the best way to take care of my new color and it lasted. I am a guy who has never been excited about fashion or style, but this was the first haircut in my entire life that I really appreciated. I have long hair and basically told him to do what would look best. He didn't do anything crazy or unexpected, but what he did was exactly what I wanted (although I didn't know what I wanted before going in). Victor just kept saying how much my girlfriend would dig this haircut, and sure enough, she really did. It made my day. more

None Better! 2/3/2005

I went to Victor in early December and cannot rave enough! I was new to LA, had a bad experience with my prior stylist, and was afraid to cut my hair again! Victor was amazing. He (very tactfully) explained what happened with the prior cut on my type of hair. Incredibly he was then able to correct it and make my long hair look full and beautiful again (with no product either!). It is now two months later and my hair still looks great - I am still receiving compliments! Victor is a naturally gifted, hip guy who is easy going, kind, and obviously enjoys his craft. He reviewed with me exactly what he would be doing. I am certain no matter how conservative or wild you are that Victor will work to give you what you desire. Go to Victor - he will make you feel and look amazing! Pros: talent, value, personality Cons: none! more

Great Haircut, Great Guy! 1/27/2005

I worked with Victor for the first time at the end of November 2004. He was charming, personable, and was very thorough in his initial consultation. Plus, he gave me a really great haircut--I can let my hair dry naturally for the first time in years. Best of all, I gave him free reign and he didn't try to push expensive highlights, color, or products on me. You don't see that too often in the beauty industry (or other businesses, for that matter!). I'll definitely go back to Victor, and I would highly recommend him to others.
