I have refinanced with Scott Fowler four separate times. He is always professional, thorough, and offers very competitive rates. I was incredibly frustrated with the refinance process as a whole. Horizon (Scott in particular) was very helpful in dealing with each hurdle as we encountered it. In the end, I got a great refi rate. more

Scott Fowler tracked the ups and downs of the rates and sent up periodic updates on where the refinancing market was headed for a couple weeks. Once the rates hit our target, he let us know and walked us through the process. He was always very quick to respond to emails or direct calls to answer any questions. The whole process went very smoothly. more

Professional and Trustworthy 11/30/2011

I have worked with Horizon Financial on two loans now, and have had very good experiences on both occasions. Their rates were extremely competetive and their work was quick and thorough. I especially enjoyed working with Mike Owens, who was always ready to talk and answer my questions. more

This was a good experience overall and I believe I got a fair deal. My only concerns were with the subcontractors in my local area and I realize there is limited ability to control that. The appraiser and the notary were both late for their appointments. Mike Owens was good to work with. more

I trust this broker 11/15/2011

I've refinanced twice thru Horizon. Both refi's were non-intrusive. Closing is at your residence. Appraisal was set up by Horizon and took about an hour. Overall, this refi cost me maybe 4 total hours of my time from start to finish. Plus, Horizon made me aware of added credits based on a higher than expected appraisal to loan ratio after the fact. Refi was relatively easy and I would certainly recommend them for any mortgage need. Thanx to Scott Fowler and his associates! more

Great place to refinance with!! 11/15/2011

We were looking to refinance and wanted the BEST deal but never liked the idea of using brokers. Scott Fowler has changed my whole idea of brokers! I can't vouch for everyone of them out there but I can say that if you go with Scott and his team you will NOT be disappointed at all. They are great and very honest. Rigth before closing I checked around to see if anyone could beat the deal I was getting with Scott and no one came even close. I even had two other lenders ask me to fax over my GFE to see if I was missing something. All other lenders said they coudlnt' even meet what I was getting with Horizon. These guys know what they are doing. They are super curteous and very attentive to your needs and questions. I even had a question at our late night closing and called Scott at 8PM and he called me back within minutes to answer my question. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO REFINANCE - LOOK NO FURTHER!! more

I have used Bank Of America for all of my banking needs and was therefore a little nervous about going that a mortage broker for this refiance.
