Scott was great and I really liked working with him through the process. His loan processor made massive mistakes throughout the process. 1. Inaccurate representations of fees 2. Sharing confidential information with selling party (financial and appraisals) Overall the transaction was smooth but it could have resulted in a disaster due to the inadequacy of care. more

Best experience with a refinance ever. 7/10/2013

We were referred to Mike Owens at Horizon Financial, Inc. by a friend when I told him I was interested in refinancing my home. It was the best experience I have ever had with any finance company. The people were professional, knowledgeable, and eager to find the correct loan for me. This has been the easiest, most hassle free refinance I've completed. Scott Fowler's guidance around mortgage type and when to lock saved us tremendously. Terry Brunner made the process fast and simple 6/19/2013

tried to refinance thru my bank that my family, business and i have 12 different accounts with; as well as my prior mortgage. they were very difficult to deal with and made me believe though i had a good credit score and home equity i would not be able to refinance after they asked me do a home appraisal through their appraisal company. they asked i try again in a year. 9 months later i decided to try something different. i was skeptical, but willing to listen to 'the sales pitch' from Terry. He did an incredible job throughout the process. he kept me informed. he eliminated the large closing cost i was quoted from by my own bank; refinanced and lowered my interest rate by 2. The close was made simple as the attorney came to me. Fast and simple; the process was even a better experience than Terry stated. more

Excellent 6/19/2013

This is the second time I have worked with Horizon for home financing needs and I have been equally pleased, if not exceedingly, this time around. We had multiple complications throughout the process but in every step LeighAnn, who handled our "case," was patient, extremely efficient and kind in every way possible. I hope to not be moving again any time soon, but am thrilled to recommend Horizon Financial to anyone in need of such services! more

Scott Fowler and his team were great ! Not only did he keep me constantly updated on the status of my refinance but the whole process from locking my loan to closing only took nine days !! He arranged closing at our home wich was a huge help since my daughter had just given birth to a beautiful baby boy the day before . Thanks Scott for all your help ! Pat and Ritchey more
