Scott Fowler found us a great deal on refinancing our mortgage in February 2013. We got 3.625 on a 30-year fixed and received a credit towards closing costs that more than offset the fees. This resulted in a net credit towards our prepaids! Also, Scott's assistant, Kimberly Chamberlain, did a good job making sure the old lender and the new lender had all the documents they needed to close on time, which was no easy task. more

Excellent service 3/4/2013

We refinanced through Horizon and the process was very easy and we closed within about a month. Christy Roth was great to work with - she was very responsive to calls and questions and worked through us the whole way. She even helped with a small glitch after the closing. Will certainly recommend her to friends and colleagues! more

Professional, quick to respond to questions, always gets the best rates. 2/20/2013

We have used Mike Owens to refinance several times. His office is very professional and extremely well-organized. We have never found a rate lower than what Mike can find. He gets us all the information we need to make a good decision and follows through with all the details. I have had him do my parents' refinancing and recommended him many times. The attorney he uses - Darryl Holland - is also very organized and a good communicator. We are always in and out of his office quickly and everything goes smoothly. Makes financing - and refinancing - very easy! more

Excellent service, quick turnaround, lowest rates! 2/19/2013

I've refinanced twice with Scott Fowler and his team, and have found the best service and lowest rates. Horizon Financial was very quick with both refinances, and was upfront about the details of the process, fees and expected timeline with lenders. Even corresponding remotely, the process was painless. I highly recommend them, and have done so with many of my neighbors! more

I am in the real estate business and know that it is incredibly hard to find a broker that it honest, up front, accurate, on time and follows through on all of their promises. I appreciated so much everything Scott Fowler and his team did to make my refinance an easy and fast experience. He got me an excellent rate w/ minimal closing costs. Excellent service, efficient online process 2/9/2013

Scott Fowler answered all questions by e-mail or phone rapidly and with confidence. It was easy to manage the process as everything except the final signatures was done on-line. LeighAnn did a fine job of organizing the final steps. The only hiccup was with the inexperienced person sent by the settlement company, LenderLive Settlement Services. He wasn't familiar with the forms and that delayed the closing a few days to get the last forms signed. In spite of this, I would use them again and recommend Horizon to others. more

I can not thank Rhonda from Horizon Financial Inc enough for the level of service and professionalism I received in refinancing my house. It became very apparent, moments after answering the call from Rhonda I was dealing with a true "Professional" somebody that was going to get me the best possible deal and I would not have to worry about anything more than providing copies of documents and signing stuff. All my emails/questions were thoroughly answered middle of the night, weekends and holidays ... even when I was confused Rhonda was there to help me. Thank you for making this process so much better than I expected! more

Both answered all our questions accurately, completely, and quickly. Also have highest praise for Johanna Devon, the closing agent. another flawless refi 1/17/2013

I have used Horizon for my last 3 refi's. In each case I've benefitted with $100 less/mo ea refi and when you consider the 1 or 2 months without a mortgage pmt along with the lender incentives like no origination fees, I've come out ahead and very satisfied. They've gained my trust forever. more

Mortgage Refinance 11/18/2012

Scott Fowler and his team provided an excellent mortgage product and worked with us through to completion. This is the second mortgage refinance I've done with them. My only issue was that the lender went beyond the rate lock date and it had to keep being extended. Horizon probably couldn't have prevented it, but I wish communication about the date and how we were going to handle it was better. Closing went well when it occurred. more
