No business or bank could refinance my house but I am glad that I found Horizon Financial Inc. on bankrate.com. Recently went through the experience of refinancing my home. Worked with Rhonda Cameron and found her to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. She always gave super-prompt and detailed responses to all my requests, often on very short notices, and looked out for my best interests like a true professional. I like to shop around for everything, but soon after my initial exchange with Rhonda, I knew that I didn't need to look further. I will always recommend her to anyone looking for mortgage financing or refinancing ... I am looking to purchase a new home now, and would not talk to anyone but her. Horizon Made It Work 5/30/2013

I was not fully committed to refinancing our house. We wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and consolidate our existing loans. For that to make sense, we demanded certain loan criteria that facilitated our interests and needs. Horizon Financial / Scott Fowler made the proposal come to fruition. They worked it and finally were successful in getting the loan parameters we wanted. The loan screening was painless, the application processes was progressive and fluid with great communication and transparency. The closing was in our home and was professionally executed. All in all, I give Horizon Financial two thumbs up! more

I truly recommend Corri Epps as your mortgage broker. I have had her twice for my home. She works hard for you to get the bottom line interest rate, she is driven to find the lowest rate for you. She is very timely on keeping you informed thru the process.. She has a great personality, which makes the process easier... Gary Schoenholz was instrumental in helping me get a fantastic loan. He had advised me in the past that due to the loan that I had at that time,it would be wise to wait for a better rate. Gary and Donna were so helpful to me, someone who was completely ignorant of the process. Anytime I was sent information, there was call to be sure that I received and understood it. Donna was so quick to respond to my emails that it appeared that she was waiting for me to sent her a question. I had an issues that delayed the closing and made the process much more difficult for them. Neither of them seemed to mind the extra effort or the delay. When I walked into the closing, I was confident that everything had been dealt with and all of my concerns were gone. I chose Horizon because they were local; I'll recommend them for so many more reasons. more

Secure, comprehensive service, clearly explains the process 5/16/2013

Requirements for a refi (circa 2013) can be arduousendless requests for paperwork to back up your financial history and the history of the property being refinanced (titling, etc.) Randy Ratchford and Jeanette Eassy of Horizon Financial took the time and attention needed to help me understand the requirements so that I could do MY part of the process better, making me feel like a part of their team for the process of refinancing my property. more

I am a LO with Everbank and I found Horizon on Bankrate.com because we also compete on the same website. They beat Everbank out on the rate and discount pts they could offer so that is why I initially went with Horizon. The process was smooth and I was pleased with the service. Nothing out of the ordinary and loan closed in time and I have no complaints. more
