Don't call them, they just want your money. 1/9/2017

I had a problem with a leaking sink and needed it fixed rather quickly, so I was under a lot of pressure. I called Gold Star Service to come over the guy started pressing me with very aggressive sales tactics, I thought there might be a problem with the system and he was trying to push me into a $1,000 system cleaning that I didn't need, and then the guy said well, if you pay $700 we can fix the toilet too for nothing, and etc. So I agreed to it, but when I looked back on it it turned out that one of the valves for the toilet just wasn't turning, so there wasn't really anything to fix. I felt really ripped off after it was all over. I was shaken up by my situation and they really took advantage of that. I guess I should have waited and had other people come look but I just wanted to get the problem fixed. I would never use them again, they just ripped me off for money and they're totally unreliable. more

My new Plumber! 1/5/2017

Using reviews from Home Advisor and Yelp we chose Gold Star Plumbing to fix leak in Kitchen sink. Was very smooth procedure and handled professionally. Our plumber, Jose was prompt, courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with! We were pleased with the job and will use them again when needed. more

I would honestly give Gold Star Service 10 stars if I could! They are very professional, clean, and responsive. They are trustworthy and they give me peace of mind which is awesome and very important. Most recently they replaced a hot water system and water filtration in my home. I was impacted by Hurricane Sandy and another plumber put in a whole new system at that time, but it was done improperly and I had a poorly functioning system for many years. Gold Star was there to help, though, and it's been good since then. They ended up having to put a whole new system in but that was due to the other plumber, not Gold Star. They're very good. Very clear. Good service all around. more

Rip off... 12/9/2016

Had them in my home for a broken drain pipe coming from my bathtub. The job was simple enough replace the elbow and down tube. I was given a price of between $ 500 and $ 1000 dollars for this job.. depending on how I wanted it fixed, again, huh. Are you kidding me a complete rip off. Contacted another local plumber who did the job for $225 dollars, professional and clean and neat. STAY AWAY from this company.. more

My experience started February 2015 when your company installed my boiler. The installation was professionally done. In November of 2016 I decided to employed your company as my service company to service my home-hold regarding all plumbing experiences. Thanks for your service. more

Have called them twice, very happy with the customer experience. Would call again! 11/7/2016

We've used Gold Star Plumbing before to install our washing machine upstairs, which was a very easy process. It went very well and the machine works great. This time around we called them because we had a leak in our bathtub. Scheduling for an appointment was easy, I really like how they send a photo of the guy they're going to send and an e-mail 30 minutes before they're on their way so you don't have to stay around all day. They ended up not being able to fix the tub because they didn't have the part, but they explained the problem really well and gave me 3 estimates that they e-mailed to me so I could send them on to my husband while at work. I'm really impressed by how organized the process of scheduling with them is and how well they communicate, makes calling them a really easy experience. more

Quick, professional, and quality work 10/5/2016

The Gold Star team is a pleasure to do business with. This is the 2nd time I have used them and they will be the people I call if I need a plumber in the future. Oscar and the crew that came to do the work were very professional and cleaned up the area as well. They explained every step of what they were doing and made sure I was happy with the work. They certainly aren't the cheapest but peace of mind is worth every penny. more
