Extremely Pleased! 9/24/2018

I have used Gold Star Service twice. They changed out my house from oil to gas the first time and fixed my garbage disposal this time. These technicians are extremely professional and very personable! That is why I called them back and that is the reason I will stay with them! Their work area is always kept clean and tidy and there has never been an issue with any service they provided! I don't want them to change a thing about their service, ever! Will be using them again when needed! more

I was very pleased and impressed with your whole company as opposed to the other plumber I had been using and was going to use this time also, until I found you. Totally like the contract idea and that Saturdays are the same charge as any other day, unlike other said plumber who charges more. I have already told my friends about this and will be passing out the business cards Trevor left me.l more

After reading most of the reviews I agree with all the customers who wrote that the service charge was a little too high, but the service was prompt and Trevor, the technician who came to the house, got the job done. I can't say I would recommend them only because for this neighborhood I think they are overpriced. My neighbor did recommend them but did tell me they were expensive. But my job was an emergency so I had no choice. Any other non emergency work I need done I would search other plumbers for prices first. Thank you.... more

The tech Carmelo was punctual, polite, friendly, helpful, neat and clean and a pleasure to work with. He answered questions, gave advice, and worked with me to get the best results. Even though he could have convinced me to do a bigger job and spend more when I didn't have to, he was honest and gave me no more than I needed. more

Sewer gas smell in home 8/15/2018

First of all I want to thank Matt the owner for having such a terrific team of professionals I know it starts on that level of pride in ownership and high level of dedication to see in these guys what’s great so Thank you! Was able to get same day service very quickly . Excellent customerservice . I thought the fee was high but we did get same day service after 5 pm and the leak was fixed . This company was very responsive while other plumbers did not even call back. more

Great plumber, but... 8/11/2018

The plumber was courteous, explained the problem and discussed options. However, the $149 service call fee was ADDED to the bill instead of put towards bill as other companies do. Made for a costly repair. Thanks more

We had an emergency and the Gold Star team was at my house within an hour. It was a big job and they came back the next day to complete the job. They were courteous and very good at what they did. Trevor was fantastic. He explained everything in detail. more

Extremely Expensive 7/8/2018

Extremely expensive. $710 for charging the Condenser... this is ridiculously expensive. More than double or triple of what others charge. I wish I knew about the charges before they came home. I didn’t wanted them to return without filling the coolant so had to let them finish it inspite of such exorbitant charges. Will never ever use or recommend them for any plumbing/HVAC work. more
