Ferrari Driving School

My experience with Ferrari Driving School was wonderful. Mr. Alfredo Raimondo taught me everything I needed to know about driving and made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout my lessons. I definitely recommend Alfredo as an instructor and the driving school as a whole. more

Alfredo is an amazing instructor. He taught both my brother and me how to drive and he was fantastic. He is extremely funny, puts you at ease, and makes the lessons fun. He also explains everything properly and throughly. Definitely take lessons with Alfredo. more

The customer service was fair and at times rude, My son was given two different instructors, One was encouraging and told my son he was doing well. The other told my son two days before the road test that my son would not pass the road test. I paid for a 45 minute lesson prior to the road test. The instructor came 15 minutes late and they arrived at the testing site 45 minutes early. He was given maybe a 20 minute lesson when paid for a 45 minute lesson. When i called customer service to find out where the instructor was she was extremely rude. Expensive, would not recommend more

my son just passed the road test first time, thanks to Ferrari driving instructor Ms Sharon Stack. I will recommend this Driving school to all my friends.They are excellent people and very professional. more

Francisco is a great teacher, he helped every member in my family pass on our first try. He helped me Juan Agopian, my mother, and my aunt pass first try. He taught me many things on how to become a safe and good driver and i am extremely thankful for him doing so. more

I failed my test today but will like to say that the instructor I have was amazing I will intact look forward into getting few more lessons with Francisco because he is a great instructor I failed due to letting my self being nervous and the inspector wasn't really helping. I pick Ferrari driving school cause I saw a lots of good review online about the school, so i decided to join. I am so happy that I made that choice. I was giving an wonderful instructor who name is Erving. Erving is everything he is the truth, amazing, wonderful person who also caring, friendly, helpful, and very patient who always had a good attitude. He doesn't play around and always speak the truth whether you like it or not. I was always able to count on Erving. He gave me good driving techniques and very important information about proper driving and defensive driving.He believe in me when I didn't believe in myself and I THANK YOU so much for that. I would recommend anyone to Erving. To the female at the front desk that does the intake she very polite and professional, Overall Ferrari Driving School is a great place. more

I have run thru different driving school just to learn a safe driving and pass my test. I loose money and time but finally one of friends told me to come to Ferrari and I did it. I found instructor syed was so pationates. Nervous person like me was able to get my license at first try. It was only possible with the help of instructor Syed. I wish him good all of his life. more

I started lesson back in March 2016. It started with just that 2 hour special. My first instructor I wasn't a fan of after the 2 hours. Came back to the Brooklyn office & run into another instructor I would find out is Keith. A joke or 2 later & I said next week, it's me & you! We'be been together ever since! He by far is 1 of the best instructors at the school for CDL training. We meet an hour a day for 2 1/2 months. Some days 2 hours. He is a great instructor. You feel at ease. I learned more from him in our 1st lesson then on those 2 hours! He is firm, yet sensible. He works with your schedule (cause life happens). He is beyond encouraging! Great as an instructor but could definitely see him as a life coach! Well today (6/8/16) I had my CDL road test in red hook, Brooklyn & passed with flying colors! He made me confindent behind the wheel & assured me I knew what I was doing and that I had this! I'm proud to say I was a student at Ferrari driving school, better yet 1 of Keith's students! You won't regret enrolling & make sure you pick KEITH! more

The instructors are amazing in BK, but the admin needs to be way more professional and proactive. For each payment I've made, they have not supplied me with a receipt, unless Call repeatedly for it. I've also paid for the expedited test timing as I needed it for work, instead of the 4 weeks for a date, which i've chased them every single week, 2 weeks after, they informed me that they don't have a date. I asked for me refund on that payment to be placed on my remaining balance, and it seemed as though i was speaking french. That was back in february. I just took my test last week friday 6/3/2016, which is well above the 3 months which i could have applied through the DMV myself. I also told the school I prefer to have a test in queens, but I'll be OK with brooklyn. After a few calls, and 2 months later, they advised that queens is completely booked, so i told them i've also had the option for brooklyn open, they seem to never have seen this item on the list. 2 weeks before my test they called to inform me that my 5 hour exam certificate number was incorrect and i was in danger of losing my testing date. I had them read back the number to me, they seem to have missed a zero and added a dash instead (their typo) Why did it take so long to notice this and inform me? I would never recommend taking the test with this school, but the instructors in brooklyn are amazing. Instructors Pablo and Stephane 5 stars, Schools Administration 0! Get your act together. more

As far as my experience with Ferrari Driving school, it had outstanding instructors. It is overpriced in my opinion but the service they provided is great. I had one instructor, Edgar, who I took 4 classes with and guided me through exactly what I needed to do to be a better driver. He directed me and gave me the confidence I needed! Also, had a instructor by the name of Laura for one session. She was patient, and helpful with great tips. She instilled confidence in me. Although, we only met once - I was able to learn a lot. I would recommend both instructors if your seeking to learn fast. Thank you, Ferrari! more

I just called Ferrari's office for better explanation of their service and pricing. A female answered the call without introducing herself and I'm not sure if she even bothered to listen to my request before I was transferred to an incorrect line. I hung up and was about to give up but decided to give them a second chance. Thanks to Jasmine who's customer service and communications skills were the complete opposite of the first person. I have decided to give them a try. I will be back at the end of the course and update my rating. more

The worst school, the instructor Henry so unprofessional. I paid more than a $1000 and he didn't teach me anything. The school gives you the worst instructor, and they not willing to change him for you. I will not recommended the Astoria office. more

So I got my license and I was really excited about it. In comparison to other driving schools and I have gone to others, the instructors are hands on and make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. The price is right and they go the extra mile. They even pick you up at your home to make things as easy as possible. Everything was amazing, I would definitely recommend them to others. more

The instructor I had at Ferrari Driving School (FDS) was absolutely lovely. He was knowledgeable, funny, and a joy to work with, so in NO way does this review reflect on him. However, the office staff is an entirely different story. "Customer Service" representatives are rude, lazy and don't pay attention. My "package" included FDS scheduling my road test, which they didn't do! It was supposed to include some type of manual, which I never received. I had to schedule the test myself! THEN to add insult to injury when I asked for a break down of the "package" I paid for, their pricing was inconsistent and they kept back peddling on what I paid and/or what I paid for. First, I was looking at the wrong brochure, THEN I was getting this service free, and that service free, THEN there was an additional fee for something else, THEN I received a discount (which I was never told about). NOT ONE consistent story, that equaled to the astronomical fee I paid. I am highly disappointed and will NEVER recommend anyone to this school. My friend went to a school in Bayside that's 200 dollars cheaper for more lessons, better service and less hassle. I'm sure this review will never be posted, but if it does STEER CLEAR! more

I had four instructors, the parole officer was the best, and then Robin Moore. The other two didn't listen at all. I wanted to focus on parking and 3-point turns, they just wanted a joy ride, well on the $@!#% side maybe there was a method to their maddness, because I only lost 10 points on my test for: excessive maneuver in and failing to indicate while doing the 3 point turn. However I was really diatribe by the fact that the other two instructors wouldn't be attentive and listen more

Passed the CDL road test in the Bronx. Special thanks to my instructor Gerard Farley who took me there and encouraged me. Continuing student with the standard shift training and road test. God bless Mr. Pinto and his staff a wonderful driving school. more

I have been shopping around at different schools to get a CDL. I was even about to give up when a staff member at a Ozone Park school told me that getting a CDL was very complicated and made it sound impossible. That changed when I came to Ferrari Driving School the instructors are very kind and patient. I passed with no difficulty and got my class BPS license. Thanks to encouragement and professional training from my wonderful instructors. Ferrari is always recommended by me for CDL. more

I was truly nervous before starting my lessons at Ferrari and had the pleasure of meeting Francisco. By far a great instructor. Calm, collected, concise and positive. My first lesson i went in nervous and left feeling more confident in myself. Very grateful and delighted to have met Francisco and will recommend him to others.
