Alfredo is the man! Be prepared to spend some time behind the wheel and gaining confidence comes with driving defensively in these rough city streets. Passed my road test on my first try because I shelled out all my money for the 30 lesson package when I initially requested for 20 lessons. BUT you get what you pay for right? No regrets. more

I had one or two lessons at the Ferrari Driving School. This was right before I had to take my road test. The guy I had was really cool. He taught me a trick for parking that helped me out a lot on the test. He was just a cool person and I would recommend them to any of my friends. more

Great experience.\r Excellent teachers. Very good people to communicate with and ask for help. I paid the money to take a few driving classes and got what I paid for and more. The teachers are excellent and they provide the skills that one needs to pass the test and to drive safely. I recommend this school 100% because they are very good and they do exactly what they offer and more. more

You wanna honest review. ..here it is.I am writing about Ferrari Bronx...thats where I had my classes for CDL-A category. First of all Jay is the guy you wanna talk to.Forget the main office(Queens).They r not on top of the things.Jay is the guy for EVERYYHING.Why? He cares.He appreciate your money.he understands you.all guys there r old school.no bullcrap..they r sharp and they ll give u hard time while driving.There s reason for that.That s how driving on the road is.if u think they will pet u there...you might as well go to baley school.but if u wanna be truck driver. ..they wil take care of u.JUST LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY.THEY ALWAYS HAVE POINT.they been doing this for years...and they all drive.And they r not as pleasant as you would expect. But to me...they were all good.I had three different instructors. I failed twice before I got it.First time I did bad.Second time I touched the curve.But that was the only mistake I did.3rd time went great and I got it.i had 30 classes. It was expensive but no regrets. The class is about 99bucks.But, I encourage u...negotiate.if u take 15 classes...I bet they ll lover rates.but u have to ask and be little aggressive. They ll do it. Remember. ..Jay will treat u like a family.At least, I was treated that way.And any problem u have he will help u out. I have move to Chicago.Working like crazy...OTR.... GOOD LUCK more

Went to Ferrari M/C school and took the road test yesterday. Passed on first try. As a trainer in the tractor trailer industry I know good trainers when I meet them. I was very impressed with the knowledge and training I got a Ferrari. I recommend the school highly and like to thank my instructors. Thank You!!! Mike Sweeney. more

I'd give Ferrari Driving School high ratings for everything. The instructor was very patient and did not make me nervous. He explained everything in detail so I had no doubts about anything in my mind. He told me what to expect for the test, so by the time I had to take it I was comfortable. more

All three instructors were great; very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. However I have to say one of them (I know Jose and Ed, I am talking about the other guy whose name escapes me now) was just excellent. He is very patient, polite, easy to work with and attentive. Overall great guy! I saw him deal with some very unreasonable students and he always had a very polite, patient and easy going attitude. I had a great experience and I will be recommending to my friends. more

I had the BEST experience with Arturo Leon as my instructor. He boosts your confidence as a driver which is most important as he teaches you the proper way to drive. You don't even realize how much you are learning during the process. He is honest, patient, the best instructor I know. I passed my road test only losing 10 points which was amazing. I had the BEST teacher and highly highly recomend ARTURO LEON. His approach on teaching is unique and it works. When I called Ferrari Driving School and was told I'd be working with the best instructor, I must say they were true to their word!! more

I would like to thank Randy (great instructor), for getting me prepared to pass my road test on the first try. Which was on 3/31/14. Randy was direct no BS kind of instructor which I liked about him. I used Ferrari Driving School 3 years ago but I still remember them. I did some browsing and they were the cheapest school around, had the most convenient location, and were available on the dates I needed. I took my basic driving test and had no problems, I passed it on the first try and got the result I wanted. I'd tell people thinking about trying them to go ahead. It was more convenient than other locations, it was cheaper than the others, and their timing was the best. Other places couldn't give me the times I wanted. The place where I took the test was also very close to me. I would really recommend it to my friends. more

Randy is the only instructor (CDL A) i really dealt with he is a good guy he will keep you in check and take you to the testing site (maspeth) how ever ferrari does not teach you how to drive a ten speed transmission (that's extra / a separate course and fee 300 bucks or so for 2 hours ). i applied to a otr tanker job and come to find out that they do not accept students from ferrari now i have to spend another 1000 bucks to get a 40 hour refresher course in new jersey at another school more

01/27/2014 I get may CDL after three times: 01/21/2014 My first test was at White Plains Bronx, I didn't past, I drove whit the trailer over the curve, there the street are very small and narrow. I wouldn't recommended to go there. 01/23/2014 Second time I was going to take the road test in Yonkers Bronx. The truck was very old and some of the lights didn't work and missing mirror, the truck didn't past the inspection from the examiner!!! 01/27/2014 3rd time, I past the road test in Hicksville Long Isling, I recommend this place for taking road test, big and wide streets easy to do!!! I did the all my road test scheduling. When I ask them to schedule for me they always saying I have to wit 30-40 days In Price for value for Ferrari : They are not that expensive but the trick is if you don't past the test at the first time then they will schedule you road test after one month so you will have to take more classes from them and will cost you more money!!!! Recommend Ferrari: I'm NOT RECOMMENDING Ferrari!! The trucks they have are very old and it's very hard to driving them. They have extra charges like ( bridge toll) or they charging you 100$ for scheduling the road test. Only good thing is the instructors there Mr. Randy Hardy and Mr. Rony. but that's all. Total experience: In beginning was ok but then was just arguing, lying trying to get more money from me....etc. I need DOT truing class but I won't take from them. Tips for you so you can safe money: 1. Study the writhing exam home and practicing online on free websites for the test. 2. Schedule your road test by yourself, so you can safe money and time. Recommend place: Hicksville LI, Maspeth NY . 3. Use company which have a new trucks, before sing in go and check the vehicles, read review special the one or two stars. 4. Road classes: Take it every day or every second day so you won't forget what you learn. 5. Ask the instructor to record him when he is teaching you if you think u can't remember, will be easy for you. 6. If you not fill confident to take the rad test take more classes will be chipper then fail the road test. Each time you reschedule well cost you time and around 1000$. 7. if you fail on road test, do not let them to scheduled the new road test for you, because the will schedule to be after long time so you can forget what you learn and you have to take more classes. 8.Even if its faraway the place for the new road test batter pay extra then to wait a long time. 9. Always use the same truck you were trained for the road test.. Good luck!!!! more

I forgot to thank all my instructors who helped me to get where I am know. I would like to thank Mr. Aurelo, Randy, Henry, and especially Ricardo for taking me to the road test site on the day of my road test and showing me the brake light test with the hand signal at the yard. Ferrarri driving school is the best driving school. I would Highly recommend them. However, the equipment was not as good as I thought it would be. equipment such as the cars are good it has been upgraded. the buses are not as good as I thought. on the day of my road test Bus number 4 had no Heater and it was hard to focus on the road test in a temperature of 9 degrees. the heater needs to be fixed in bus 4 and any other equipment that needs fixing. other than that its a good school. more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BRONX OFFICE OF FERRARI DRIVING SCHOOL!\r Fantastic driving school! For those in Bronx & Manhattan, take lessons with the BRONX office. Customer service was excellent and very accommodating - tried to schedule through the main number (steinway office) & was told more than 3x nothing available. Called the Bronx office & they were happy to fit me in. I am a 42 year old very nervous driver who had NEVER driven in my life. Arturo - the best Ferrari instructor- was awesome! He helped me become calm and comfortable on the road. He is very patient, not aggressive, and was not stepping on the brake for me every two minutes, like some other instructors. If you are a first time, nervous or older driver, TAKE LESSONS WITH ARTURO. I passed on the first try with an 85, thanks to him. Remember, call the Bronx office directly. The boss there, Jay, will work with your schedule, and is very professional, unlike some of Ferrari's other customer service reps. Ferrari's prices are slightly higher, but trust me, they are worth it. Tried three other schools and they were all terrible! One only took cash - weird! The other one, the instructor was talking and texting the entire time I drove- scary! The other one was too aggressive, stepping on the brake for me the whole time, and barely spoke english! Trust Ferrari and you will not regret it! more
