The staff at Farrell Smyth have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my housing process. They are always available and ready to assist. This is true because of what I experienced. My roommates and I were ready to move into our new apartment a few weeks ago until we got there and noticed it wasn't ready to move into. We called the office and they didn't hesitate to come over and work it out. To make a long story short, they allowed us to look at other potential homes that day and we ended up finding one that was better than we hoped for. We moved in the next day! Throughout the day I felt cared for and supported by everyone in the office. Thanks to the Farrell Smyth team I have a home that I love! more

I haven't have the pleasure of utilizing Farrell Smyth services, but have used their website & emails for updated property listings. We have a job in San Luis Obispo and this information allowed us to budget our project correctly. When we do need to rent something, I will definitely use their services. more

We have had great difficulty finding a management company that took appropriate care of our apartment complex. Now after a year with Farrell Smyth, we are delighted with their service: they ensure rents are collected, vacancies are filled promptly, have not incurred massive expenses for maintenance, and respond to all inquiries on the same day! We could not have been more pleased with the service we received from Annette! My 89 year old mom was looking for a 'beach house' to buy for her beloved family to enjoy for years to come. As Annette got to know her (and the rest of us), she patiently listened to her thoughts and desires for this amazing purchase, and searched until she found the perfect place for mom. Since we were coming from out of town, she arranged visits to best utilize our time. She obviously had good rapport with other realtors/sellers as visits went smoothly and conversations that we witnessed were very pleasant. Annette 'went to bat' for us on any requests we had. She was quick and concise with all paperwork and made the business part of the purchase worry-free. I could go on and on about Annette, but I will finish by saying how fortunate you are to have her on your team! God put her in our path - she was an awesome gift to our family. more

My son is moving into one of the Farrell Smyth managed apartments located near CalPoly. Kyrie was very helpful and informative during this process. Kyrie is friendly and professional. She made me feel secure in how she handled the lease signing process with my adult son, a CalPoly student. Kyrie and her associates made it easy and stress-free to rent an apartment from Farrell Smyth, Inc. She provided us with all of the needed information and guided us through the process. My mother will be moving to San Luis Obispo and I will use F.S. again. more

Very knowledgeable, professional staff. Cinde is amazing! She is professional, kind, returns all calls and email darn near instantly! I am trying hard to get our main homes HOA to hire Farrell Smyth as they are doing such a great job at our rental properties HOA. After having a horribly unresponsive management company its like a breath of fresh air to have one that actually provides the service they are supposed to provide. Wonderful company with exceptional staff! more

I worked with Annette Mullen to buy and sell a unit in San Luis Obispo. She was extremely well organized and professional. In each case, all it took was a phone call and she moved into action. Aside from my trip there to select our property, all of the transactions took place long distance and I never questioned her follow through. If I am fortunate enough to buy there again, I'll be calling Annette! more

I've worked with Farrell Smyth two times in the past four years for the acquisition of a single family rental property and recently on the sale of the same property. Since I live out of the area, it was essential that I worked with someone that could handle all of the details, making arrangements with inspection companies and working with the tenants to schedule showings of the property. Larry Smyth took care of it all. It was a pleasure working together. more
