Six months ago, I was informed the day before my appointment that my stylist would not be there, and that the manager would be cutting and highlighting my hair, which I did not have a problem with. After my appointment, at check-out the receptionist told me the price, which was $30 more than my regular stylist charges. When I told her this, she said she was sorry but the manager charges more, and that I needed to pay that amount. I then complained to the manager who did my hair about the increased cost, and instead of treating this customer service issue professionally, she started arguing with me about it. She finally agreed to charge me the lower amount, but was vocally unhappy about it. I explained that if there was a higher cost, I should have been warned when they called me the day before. I couldn?t believe I was being treated so poorly by a manager. Four weeks ago I went back for an appointment with my regular stylist, and waited and waited. 25 minutes later the receptionist told me that they didn?t know where she was, and they could have another stylist cut my hair, but that I?d have to wait a bit. I had to end up waiting for one hour after my scheduled appointment. While I was waiting, another customer left frustrated because she had been waiting 30 minutes for her appointment, with no explanation for the delay. I fully expected a follow-up telephone call from my stylist apologizing for missing my appointment. It?s now been four weeks, and although I?ve called and left messages for her, she?s never bothered to call me back. There are too many other salons in the Austin and Round Rock area than to waste time and money on this one.
It's also pretty interesting that everytime a negative review is written about them, immediately in the following days there are a number of glowing reviews that go into such detail about the salon and the staff that it's obvious the staff are writing these reviews themselves to try to keep their rating high.
Don't be fooled!
Cons: Poor management, poor customer service
